[LD] Thanatology skill is being ignored by a sim's dislikes
This issue goes across all of my played sims. I have them all set to dislike Thanatology in their preferences but the game simply ignores this. As you can see in the following screenshot, this particular sim was about to go and research thanatology on the Electromagnetic Research Archive Machine. In the second screenshot you can plainly see that it is a dislike of hers. Yet I will constantly catch her and her husband trying to research it on the machine or pulling up the thanatology information on their computers. Not just occasionally. This happens multiple times per day. The game should not be ignoring a specific dislike of a sim's like this. I mean that is the whole point of the likes and dislikes is it not? The game seems to do just fine for the other likes and dislikes that I have set but completely ignores this one. Please fix this. All packs up to AA. Happens whether UI Cheats is present or removed. Not sure how to tag this one as it is a game/sim setting within cas that is being ignored in live mode.[LS] Attraction setting being ignored by romantic and enchanting introductions
As you can see in this screenshot, attraction is disabled for my sim. This means that, per the tooltip description when disabling attraction, " This Sim will have Attraction only for Sims with whom they have a romantic relationship". Therefore, there should be no romantic or enchanting introductions as those immediately initiate a romance and romantic satisfaction. I believe that my sim initiated this introduction with the mixologist as I saw the image of him in her queue and when I highlighted it I saw that it was to be a romantic or enchanting introduction. I don't remember which one as I quickly tried to stop it but I was unsuccessful. You can see in the wall notification that Romantic Satisfaction immediately began. which will cause relationship problems related to cheating. Please get this fixed and make it so romantic and enchanting introductions are not available for a sim, or to be done to a sim, that has attraction disabled. All packs up to AA, never cc and this has occurred whether UI Cheats was installed or not.
Build Mode Search Bar failing to return results for exact item titles
The Build Mode search bar is failing to return results for specific items, even when the exact full title is entered. This is occurring across both Base Game and Expansion Pack content. The items are confirmed to be in the game and visible via manual category scrolling, but the search function returns "No Results Found." Specific Examples of Failed Searches: "The l'Amour Pendant" (Base Game) – No results found. "Masterpiece Mosaic" (Lovestruck) – No results found. "Pretty in Plaster" (Base Game) – No results found. Steps to Reproduce: Open Build Mode on any lot. Type any of the above exact titles into the search bar. Observe that the "No Results Found" message appears despite the items being present in the manual catalog and filters.Can't enter household
I just updated my game today, 3/31, and when I go to start playing, it sends me to manage worlds to select a world to play in. When I click the world and household I want, it glitches out and sends me back to the main manage worlds screen. Then I tried to create a new household to avoid this problem, but then when i was done creating a new sim, it took forever to load and did not load through. I had to force quit the game. [XB/PS] Console crashing after update 2.13
I ran the update for Xbox today 6/18/25 and every time my sim leaves the lot and returns the games crashes - no mods as it is Xbox - has occurred about 5 times today every time is after my sim visits another lot and comes back to their lot about 3-5 minutes of playing with a different household member the game crashes. Also it keeps resetting my game settings turning back on tutorials and game play overlays and turning back on the music I have turned off in build mode and home screen have most packs except for For Rent, Lovestruck, Growing together, High School Years and Seasons
Sims Stuck in Loop Using Computer
Platform: PC (EA App) Game Version: [ The sim 4 version before and after the March 17–18, 2026 update] issue is more occurring after the latest update Mods/CC: None Description: After the latest Sims 4 update and hotfix, I am experiencing a bug where my Sim gets stuck repeatedly selecting and unselecting a a interaction. and has started happen a lot after using the new CAS “dislike” feature for objects. Specifically: I set my Sim to dislike the computer in CAS. After repairing the game and loading my save, the Sim automatically attempted to use the computer. The game conflicted with the dislike setting, causing the Sim to endlessly loop selecting/unselecting the computer interaction. I then removed the dislike in CAS, but the loop continued. The Sim remains stuck and does not perform other actions. casuing no gameplay This occurs with no mods or custom content installed. Steps to Reproduce: Create a Sim and set a CAS dislike for an object (computer or phone). Save and exit the game. Repair the game (optional). Remove the dislike in CAS. Load the save. The Sim begins to automatically interact with the object but gets stuck in a loop selecting/unselecting. Expected Outcome: The Sim should either respect the dislike and avoid the object, or interact normally without getting stuck in a loop. Actual Outcome: The Sim gets stuck in a looping interaction, continuously selecting and unselecting the object, making noises, and cannot perform other actions. Additional Notes: The issue happens in my main save. The bug persists even after clearing the cache, repairing the game, and resetting the Sim (resetsim *). Sims taking autonomous actions with disabled autonomy
I had disabled both autonomy for selected sim and autonomy for everyone else in order to get some screenshots. But an adult sim who's holding a baby would always autonomously go and put the baby in the crib as soon as I unpause the game. Hope it gets fixed soon. Thanks. There are so many sims now that behave mischievously even though they don't have a single negative trait!!! I hate this so much because I know every interaction can't be perfect but it's so annoying when you leave one of your sims unattended and they are actively sabotaging every relationship - including those with family members. Same with random sims. There are so many of them that do mischievous stuff and make your sims embarrassed or angry randomly. It's just way to common and I don't think sims should behave mischievously unless they have already built a negative relationship with another sim or have the trait like evil or mean (any negative ones). This has been a problem for too long!!😒 PS: I don't use Mods at all. Note by crinrict There's a few threads that are similar so please make sure that you use the correct one for upvoting.
