[XB/PS] Console crashing after update 2.13

When I go to build mode while playing a character on a lot and try to open household inventory, the game completely crashes. My Sim is using the Handiness skill and selling the bath tubs through build mode. When I go to open household inventory the first time and sell items, it’s fine. But if I try to open it again it completely crashes my game, forcing a complete restart. Not to mention, it takes about three reloads to load my save data. This is on an Xbox One with the majority of the packs installed.

My PS5 has been experiencing frequent crashes while playing Sims 4. It’s rare to experience multiple crashes per day. It’s even more rare for my game to crash while saving. Now it’s happening on a daily basis.  We started noticing this issue since the recent update.  The game is up to date and we are good about doing maintenance cleaning (keeping clear of dust in/out of the console. My teenagers are not experiencing the same or new issues while playing other games. This leaves me to think the issue is a result from the recent update. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

I’m experiencing the same. I can play my game but is frustrating how many times it crashes now. I save my game frequently while I play, but now I’m getting error messages when I go to save it. I started having this issue shortly after the recent update. I also have zero CC or mods. My memory storage is good. I have tried multiple things to trouble shoot. I think it has something to do with the recent update and hope it will be resolved soon.

I'm on Xbox but experiencing much the same. My console isn't prone to crashes yet I've experienced back to back crashes after updating Sims 4.

My game never crashes. Typically if it does, it’s because my internet goes down. I play on xbox series s and after updating my game today, my game has proceeded to crash twice in a 20 minute time frame. I am unsure if it is because of the update or if something is wrong with my game. I was just wondering if anyone else was having this problem. 

This is still happening after the latest patch, and for me it used to only be crashing on saving, but now it's crashing every single time I go from build/buy to world view. And my game preferences keep partially resetting too now. This is beyond frustrating.

I'm having this problem. I've been trying to play all morning and it's crashed three times in the last hour! It's honestly kinda bumming me out.

I’ve been playing since around 8pm EST - game has been closing out not evening making past a full sim day. Now into the next day it’s about 11:30 EST and it’s still having the same issue, closing out to the Home Screen. I’ve done all the test and still experiencing this issue - anyone else ? I’m on Xbox btw.

I'm having the same issue on PS5. Crashing constantly without reason. it's so frustrating

Yes I am absolutely having this issue as well. I play on Xbox One. No mods or custom content obviously. I did the update yesterday and now I can't play more than 5 minutes without it crashing and going to the main menu. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to the crash. Happens exiting CAS, in build mode, and just playing the game. I even have tried starting a new save file and it crashes. Took it off internet and it STILL crashes. IDK but it seems as if this latest update has completely broken the game for me. I probably will have to stop playing until they release a patch for the crashing.
