Non-household sims shouldn’t harvest
Butlers, ghosts (with haunted lot trait), neighbors, tend to harvest plants aka steal them. I don’t think gardening services do this. I wish they would stop, especially the ghosts! I can lock out the others, but ghosts just walk in. I turned off the haunted lot trait but I really would like to keep it on.14Views0likes1CommentRequest Ray Tracing Support And DirectX 12 Feature To The Sims 4
Hello EA Team, I hope this message finds you. I am writing you to request the addition of ray tracing support and DirectX 12 inThe Sims 4. As a Sims Player, I believe that incorporating ray tracing technology would significantly enhance the visual experience for players like on the other games. Here are a few reasons why this feature would be beneficial: Improved Realism: Ray tracing can provide more realistic lighting, shadows, and reflections, making the game world feel more immersive and lifelike. Enhanced Graphics: With ray tracing and DirectX 12, the graphical quality of The Sims 4 would be elevated, attracting both new players and retaining current ones who seek high-quality visuals. And the new API which is better than the DirectX 11 what you released last time. Futureproofing: As gaming technology advances, having ray tracing support would ensure thatThe Sims 4 remains competitive and up to date with modern gaming standards. I believe that adding ray tracing would not only improve the gameplay experience but also showcase EA’s commitment to innovation and quality. Thank you for considering this request. Plus, can you include DirectX Ray-Tracing. The supported GPUs are going to be in the attachment. For the Ray-Tracing which needs RTX 2050 or Higher Best regards, Nikolai Malabed10Views0likes1CommentPlease, please fix the townie outfits. I can't take it anymore.
We REALLY need these random townie outfits to be fixed, ASAP. And it seems the more packs you have, the more outrageous the randomly generated outfits become. I think having or being able to save premade outfits are a great idea, that would make townie makeovers so much easier. Or at the very least, there should be a specific selection of outfits that have been put together by an actual person (Devs or otherwise) for the algorithm to choose from. The randomly generated Sims and their outfits are just a bit too, well, random. It is way too time consuming to fix every weird looking townie and their outfits. But I feel like I don't really have a choice because playing with them looking like that really bothers me lol. I also don't appreciate when I spend 3 hours in CAS meticulously planning 5 perfect outfits for every category....And then I see that sim out and about still in the most absurd get up ever. This not only happens to NPCs, but also my active or played households as well. Like why is my recently revamped Mortimer in a purple sequence vest, hiking boots, super short gyms shorts, with his eyebrow pierced and wearing a top hat...... Maybe its just because I have more packs now but I don't remember it ever being this bad before. This problem has become very pronounced. Also, even more than just the clothes, random generated townies even just look weird physically. The characteristics they end up with just don't fit together. Surely there has got to be a better algorithm to make normal looking townies (And by normal I just mean not a bizarre mish-mash of features. And not being dressed like an alien who saw a clown once and thinks this is how all humans dress) Like17Views2likes2Comments💡 Ideas > ♂️ Man lifestyle for The Sims

I am honestly amazed that this hasn't been implemented yet. There is no reason all Sims should universally get a negative moodlet for not participating in a holiday. Please make space for more diverse traditions! If I want one house to celebrate Hannukah and another house to celebrate Christmas, I should be able to. Allow calendars to be individualized to each household. There could still be an option to apply holidays to all households, maybe where you edit holidays there can be a toggle, just for this house or for all houses. But the option really needs to be there. I'm just saying. Diversity is soooo important to my Sim world. I love incorporating and exploring with different sim cultures. It really kinds of ruins it for me when I have to use cheats to remove negative moodlets for a Sim that doesn't even subscribe to that tradition. I know you can just stick with one household until the holiday is over but I very frequently switch households multiple times in one Sim day, sometimes even more so on holidays. Pleeeeeeaase add this feature!34Views4likes2CommentsThe Sims 4 Zodiac Traits
Make it Zodiac Traits and Acquired Traits. The followings specifically refer to Zodiac Traits. For The 48 Periods, please refer to Personology (by Gary Goldschneider). The 48-Traits Edition Make it three groups of traits: Sun Traits, Moon Traits, Rising Traits. There are the same 48 traits in all of the groups. Since the season is for 7 days and the moon phase cycle is for 8 days in The Sims 4, make each Sun Trait advance once every 14 hours, each Moon Trait advance once every 4 hours, each Rising Trait advance once every 30 minutes in the time system. When a Sim is born, he or she could have three different, or two same and one different, or three same traits. If a Sim has three same traits, then this type of trait of him or her is strong, and so on. Astrologers can give Sims good blind dates or bad ones. There are three sets of 48 types of actions for Sims. The first set is for Sims who have three different traits, and they have three types of actions from this set according to what traits they have. The actions in the first set are weak. The second set is for Sims who have two same and one different traits, and they have two types of actions from this and the first set according to what traits they have. The actions in the second set are average. The third set is for Sims who have three same traits, and they have only one type of action from this set according to what traits they have. The actions in the third set are strong. 01. Pis-Ari Cusp Rebirth 02. Ari I. Child 03. Ari II. Star 04. Ari III. Pioneer 05. Ari-Tau Cusp Power 06. Tau I. Manifestation 07. Tau II. Teacher 08. Dancers & Dreamers The 336-Traits Edition Make it two groups of traits: Sun Traits, Moon Traits. There are the same 336 traits in both of the groups. Make the moon phase cycle be also 7 days, just like the season in The Sims 4. Since 28÷336×24=2 and 7÷336×24×60=30, make each Sun Trait advance once every 2 hours, each Moon Trait advance once every 30 minutes in the time system. As for the 336 traits, we can refer to the 366 traits from The Secret Language of BIRTHDAYS by Gary Goldschneider & Joost Elffers, just selecting the traits from the first 28 days of each month. Please choose the better edition which you think. 🙂 Alchemists can change objects into coins or into trash. A small-sized bronze coin is for 1 simoleon, silver coin for 5 simoleons, gold coin for 10 simoleons; a medium-sized bronze coin is for 50 simoleons, silver coin for 100 simoleons, gold coin for 500 simoleons; a large-sized bronze coin is for 1,000 simoleons, silver coin for 5,000 simoleons, gold coin for 10,000 simoleons. Sims can pick up coins from the ground and deposit them in a bank, a piggy bank, and a strong box. When Sims are going to use simoleons in African, European, Asian cities, they must change them into African, European, Asian dollars. The exchange rate fluctuates every day. I'm sure some of you are like me and remake your NPCs as some of their outfits that get randomly assigned as well... interesting. I use a lot of the pre-made outfits for them, and I think it would be amazing if within CAS we could save our favorite outfits or have the ability to add outfits to the pre-made ones so we have a larger catalog to choose from.23Views4likes2CommentsThe Sims 4 Ideas
CAS System Make it intelligently create Sims through facial and voiceprint recognition. Make it a discontinuous voice slider (mid-value can be taken). Cancel Simlish and make it a variety of real languages, such as Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, etc. Add more interpersonal titles in family tree, such as uncle, aunt, cousin, father-in-law, brother-in-law, granddaughter-in-law, etc. Aging System Make it eight life stages: baby stage lasts 7 days (newborn stage lasts 1 day, infant stage lasts 2 days, toddler stage lasts 4 days), child stage lasts 7 days, teen stage lasts 14 days, young adult stage lasts 28 days, adult stage lasts 28 days, elder stage lasts 28 days. It is a total of 112 days. Each stage has at most three Zodiac Traits. The baby stage has only one Acquired Trait, the child stage has two Acquired Traits, the other stages have three Acquired Traits. Trait System Make it two types of traits: Zodiac Traits and Acquired Traits. The Zodiac Traits can be further divided into three parts, please refer to The Sims 4 Zodiac Traits. Make it a series of The Sims 2 style systems, such as primary and secondary aspirations, slot machine style wants and fears with the meter, good and bad memories, etc. Make each memory have a detailed date. Society System Make it three stages of society: Present Society, Future Society, Ancient Society. Make a world map with displaying year and month, make one year be 28 days, make one month be 2 days and 8 hours. After every 112 days, the game changes the stage of current society automatically and cycles infinitely. Make six continents in the world map. For Ancient Society, make nine countries in Asia, they're Jin (晉) in the northwest, Yan (燕) in the north, Ancient Korea in the northeast, Qin (秦) in the west, Zhou (周) in the middle, Qi (齊) in the east, Ancient Vietnam in the southwest, Chu (楚) in the south, and Ancient Japan in the southeast. Weather System Make more types of wind: Level 0 is for no wind, Level 1 for gentle wind, Level 2 for strong wind, Level 3 for typhoon. Make petals fall in spring and leaves in autumn, like rain and snow. Make it an open world, or not. If it is an open world, make it not The Truman Show. Action System Make Sims have more actions, such as dressing and undressing; opening doors and windows and closing them; taking out dishes, mugs, pans and condiment bottles from cupboards, toothbrushes from cups, umbrellas from umbrella racks, clothes and socks from wardrobes, shoes from shoe cabinet, and putting back them, etc. Sims can take pillows and sheets out of the closet and put them on the ground to sleep and bring them back to the closet, and they can wash and dry them. Cats and birds can walk and sleep on walls. Driving System Players can drive vehicles. Driver Sims can pick up and drop off other Sims. Make vehicles of different capacities accommodate different numbers of Sims. Make traffic accidents allowed. Give Sims the opportunity to fall and be injured from a height. Make ambulances, paramedics, wheelchairs and disabled Sims. Make sick Sims go to hospitals. If it is an infectious disease, Sims can infect each other. Doctor Sims can treat and perform surgeries. Make four types of blood type traits for Sims, or not. Justice System Give Sims and events the opportunity to add or change the Acquired Traits of other Sims. Make Sims get skill points by reading, having classes and doing homeworks, etc. Make 1st language and maths classes compulsory in kindergartens, make 1st language, 2nd language and maths classes compulsory in primary and middle schools, make 3rd language and other courses optional in universities except major. Make the number of languages which Sims speak as many as the number of languages supported by The Sims 4. Make 1st language be English. Make 2nd language and 3rd language selectable, such as Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, etc. Sims who can speak foreign languages can communicate with foreign Sims. Sims can sue other Sims. Build System Add half-tile walls and platforms, walls and platforms with a height of 0.125 times, walls and platforms hanging down from the ceiling, buildable prominent window sills, vertical sloping walls and platforms (22.5 degree per rotation), rain gutters, more styles of single-tile sliding doors and functions of rotating objects horizontally and vertically in a discontinuous manner (22.5 degree per rotation). 0 Rabbit Holes Don't make any rabbit holes, such as tree houses, public toilets, tramcars, primary schools and all jobs. Make the interiors of subways, ships, planes, subway stations, seaports and airports visible. Make it at least three classrooms in kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools and universities; the school area can be built as freely as other areas. Add careers as manga artists, voice actors and publishing houses. Make weekly magazines and manga tankobons published; TV dramas, movies, cartoons, MTVs and commercials can be filmed and shown; games can be developed and sold; related consoles and arcades can be played. Sims can put the wooden boards, foods and drinks in the cabinets or take off them or change them. Add more styles of wind bells, usable telephones, usable hand fans and desk fans. Allow more kinds of objects, like TVs, to be placed on various tables and floors. Make acuum cleaners, brooms, dustpans, mops, buckets, napkins, feather dusters, washing machines and drying racks in the base game. Make houses and clothes more and more dirty after some time even without buying acuum cleaners and washing machines. Make the appearance of a house that is not inhabited for a long time become older and older. Others Except premade households, don't make it automatically generate citizens or NPCs, even if NPC may be not enough. Canceling the cheat system makes the game more fun. Make it The Sims Home Edition for players who don't need cheats and The Sims Professional Edition for players who do need cheats. Cancel the function of easily transferring funds and family members between families. Make players cannot switch family members easily after entering a household. Quit asking players, make us must go to work and school personally with the currently controlled Sim. Cancel the outlines around Sims and objects when the mouse pointer points to them. Make it no longer cause mutual penetration and superposition between Sims. In life mode, expand the first person perspective based on the room size as soon as we enter a room and cancel the wall cutting, while build mode is not affected by this. Don't make any unusable decorations, make smart-phones and calendars be usable objects. Make bookshelves and refrigerators empty to place books and foods one by one. Give Sims the opportunity to have dreams when they fall asleep. Sims can hold funerals. Don't make Sims age continuously in a short period of time by blowing candles on their birthday cakes.
