Game Crashing on Launch
Playing on Xbox one, was never an issue 2 weeks ago but since the update it doesn't get past the loading screen and crashes to dashboard. Tried literally everything in the book, even reset MAC settings to no avail. I'm on my 7th re install to try again (update; nothing worked) EA, do you guys ever try and make things better for users, or do you make things progressively difficult for users on purpose? Back to skate 2 I go! My feedback is this; Actually listen to user feedback and don't assume you think you know best, because judging by your Xbox reviews and ps reviews, you clearly don't. (2.8/5 for such a pre hyped game, shows immediate failure)What’s with the clothes
Can we get some normal straight legged pants in the game maybe some actual cool shirts. Everything is baggy or capris. I’m tired of wearing shorts. Also why is there so much girl clothes. Where’s all the guy clothes at. All the clothes they’ve put out are completely wack! Put skate clothes on there. If they could add a college or school to skate as well. That’d be dope!Crash on launch
Latest drivers on Intel Arc b580/i5-12500kf/ 32gb DDR4 @ 3200mhz Full system hang, explorer crash, followed by auto shutdown/restart. No other games causing this issue. Fix yours. Before you're held liable for damaging peoples systems. Maybe y'all cover that base in the EULA, but no once cares.SolvedBailing During Grabs+Flips (Bug/Glitch) Issue
Practically sending my character to the stratosphere when trying to do any sort of flip+grab trick combo in air. Making my character randomly and suddenly shoot to the ground or fly off the board like I am hitting an invisible object or there are rooftop snipers. Making the core game practically unplayable, hitting lines with tricks impossible, and impacting any motivation to stream or create content for the game. I haven't seen many others experience this issue yet. On top of this, the bug where the game sets your video resolution and frame rate super low has NOT been fixed, contrary to what was stated in patch notes I read.Hit It, Hold It Seasonal Challenge not possible
The Hit It, Hold It Seasonal Challenge is not actually possible to complete with the default Allowed Fall Height setting. After many attempts to jump from one roof down to the other into the roll-in I would crater every time no matter how good an angle I had on the landing into the transition. After some feelings of frustration, I decided to test if changing the Allowed Fall Height setting would actually make it work. Lo and behold, it in fact allows the first jump to be possible every time. I'm not sure if it's a bug or not but I'd imagine that challenge is supposed to be possible regardless of if you have Allowed Fall height set to the max setting or default of 1 (The 0 setting makes most heights high enough have you bail or crash). Hope this tip helps anybody struggling and also hope that the devs are aware and able to fix it. Thanks!I make Skate. Music Videos with my own music...

Hello 👋 🤙from Liverpool UK thank you for all your hard work on making Skate (Skate4) a reality, I've been a long time player from the first game and am a on and off skater 37 and am an international drum and bass/jungle DJ, I fully understand that the game is being aimed at the next generation of skaters, but I'd say the game needs gritting up a bit in a few areas. -the character models feel a bit cartoonish and abit kidish, the AI companion is very condersending sounds a bit like a primary school teacher, personally it should be done more like a skate mentor type guide direction -same with the colour pallette, personally I think needs to be more grounded in reality and a bit more earthy or at least the option of it becoming earthy and less like Fortnite. -some more ghetto rough round the edges spots could be added -heavier physics, as everything feels quiet floaty -go back to original camera options, as I've struggled to get back to my old skate view that I had in the original games -more grownup soundtrack, for example: punk classics like The Ramones, Dead Kennedy, The Stooges, Gray Matter, New York Dolls, Gang of Four, The Sex Pistols and some contemporary hip hop, like MF Doom, Frizzy P and Mr Cole, Pharcyde, Tribe Called Quest and some jungle and dnb from people like shyfx, aries, chase and status, anything of born on road label or shogun audio Hope this helps :) can't wait for full releaseGrinds are Inconsistent
I've noticed a few issues with the grind mechanics which make trying to land them them really frustrating: The ability to lock into a grind seems rather strongly tied to the Camera. By this I am referring to the control labelled "On-Board Camera Switch Side Controls". Grinding is far more consistent when the camera is switched to the side so that it is looking over the skater's shoulder at the obstacle of approach. To add insult to injury, the Camera Side Switch is extremely sluggish (slow to switch sides) and the Camera Side Switch Controls (L3 on PS5) only work when the player isn't actively turning. This breaks the player's flow and requires the player to actively plan for a straightline segment for any required camera side switch between obstacles. Irrespective of the camera controls already mentioned in #1, Backside grinds are way less consistent than Frontside grinds when approaching the same obstacle. Grind-able obstacles have a strong tendency to push the character away. This can be seen in slow motion with the replay editor. It feels terrible when you ollie up to a ledge (full bone) and on a solid trajectory to land the grind and then at the last second some invisible forcefield (above the ledge) nudges the nose of your board ever so slightly away from the ledge, resulting in a slam. These issues are really noticeable when attempting basic ollie -> 5050 grinds over ledges and handrails.
