Game crashing randomly
The game keeps crashing at random times, It can be while loading, in a menu, customizing things or just driving. Anytime and any part of the game can cause mine to crash. When it happens it generally first minimizes my game and takes me to desktop and then later it freezes for about 10 seconds and then crashes although sometimes it crashes instantly with no warning. I also get a crash dump message or a message saying it crashed. I've done all of the following and still nothing improved: installed and reinstalled newest graphics driver (fresh install) disabled DLSS set all graphic settings to lowest uninstalled the game and installed it again updated windows updated all hardware drivers when verifying file integrity via steam, it always says 3 files failed the verification and need to be loaded again, but next time I verify file integrity, there's 3 broken files again. However, I'm having a serious issue where every time I die, right as the death animation starts to play, the game freezes and crashes immediately with no error message. This happens in all modes. I've looked online and seen others with similar issues. Some reported that deleting the cache folder for the game helped, but it was only a temporary fix — the issue returned within 30–45 minutes. Since deleting the folder didn’t help, I decided to reinstall the game, even though it’s large. Unfortunately, the problem got slightly worse: it started freezing even faster, sometimes before the death animation even starts. I then consulted ChatGPT, which recommended analyzing the crash dump file using a program called WinDbg. I did so, and shared the analysis with ChatGPT to interpret the results. ChatGPT Response Summary: Root Cause Summary: The crash was due to an Access Violation (0xC0000005) — specifically a read from a null or invalid pointer (0x0000000000000008). Contextual Clues: Crash occurred while BF2042.exe was running. Involves amdxc64.dll — a common AMD GPU driver library. Occurred during Boost serialization and DirectX 12 GPU pipeline operations. Likely Cause: A pointer used by the AMD graphics driver during deserialization or pipeline setup was NULL, causing the game to crash. So at this point, having done nearly every troubleshooting step and even running diagnostics with the help of ChatGPT, this is the closest I’ve gotten to an explanation. Hopefully someone from the developer team can help investigate further. And yes, before anyone asks — I did try switching the game to run in DirectX 11. The same issue persists. MADDEN 25 ULTIMATE TEAM SQUADS DESYNC ON DEFENSE WHENEVER THEY STRETCH RUN
Anyone else having this problem too? It only happens on defense when they run the ball and you’re shedding on a player. Can’t even play the game that we spent money on along with the money spent on ultimate team and they can’t even make the game playable? I haven’t got too play a full game let alone be able too stay in it long enough too win without getting dysnced for 2 weeks what is going on ea this is so crazy take the game down if it’s not gonna work at this point i’m gonna quit if it doesn’t get fixed in the next couple of days.VR Wobble / jitter when in Car
This issue has persisted since 23 /24 and makes the game unplayable. When in game, there is a head tracking problem which gives the feeling of "wobbling", and it seems to be that the tracking is delayed or out of sync, causing stutter when moving your head. This causes instant sickness and makes it unplayable. I'm yet to find a post in the community with a fix and it seems to be a very common issue. My specs: 5700x3d 32GB Ram Nvidia 5070TI Quest 3 via SteamVR (Link cable and virtual desktop) running at 90hz Tried a wide range of settings, including dropping everything to the minimum. No avail.
Inquiry about FC25 ping delay
I know that the current FC25 Ultimate Team online matching method is not p2p but Dedicated Server Hosting. Is that correct? If it is Dedicated Server Hosting, when the relay server is matched with users, if one side has a high ping and the other side has a different ping, can it affect the play of the user with a low ping?
CFT and TN spikes
Hey all, Firstly, I've had this issue for years and I cannot seem to resolve it. Every couple minutes during gameplay I get random CFT and TN spikes (see attached pics) which always screw me up. A second later, gameplay goes back to normal. During the spike, I see CPU and GPU utilisation dip in MSI Afterburner. My specs are: 14700k 64gb DDR5 RTX5080 (originally 3080ti) NVME SSD 750mb/s internet connection on ethernet ... Resource constraints aren't the issue. I don't have this issue in any other game. I never had issues when I first started playing the game on release. It maybe popped up a year later. What I've tried: Disabling C-states Disabling one drive sync Different USB ports for K&M Different K&M Mouse raw input vs not Closing all non-essential applications/services Reinstalling and repairing easy anti cheat Reinstalling BF2042 Cleared cache Reformatting computer - clean install everything Upgrading bios Clean boot with most windows apps disabled Disabling all overlays Deleting IGO32.dll & IGO64.dll Running as administrator Lowered graphics settings/lighting/reflex/frame rate cap/ There doesn't seem to be a way to contact EA support. I've tried asking Reddit and got no help there. Maybe someone can help me here?
F1 24: 100% GPU Load in Menu
Ever since I reinstalled the game recently (haven't played in 3-4 months), I recently started to get 100% GPU load in the menu. I turned off all ray tracing options, FPS is locked, as well as tried with V-sync and exclusive fullscreen and all options did not fix the issue. Additionally, reverified the integrity of the files, reinstalled twice, and deleted the hardware settings file as followed by EA's instructions. Normally, on max settings (ray tracing off, TAA Only), I get a stable 144FPS with no issues, GPU usage below 70% majority of the time. PC specs below. Anyone have any fixes? CPU - i7 13700KF GPU - RTX 4080 (Latest Nvidia Driver: 576.52, also tried rolling back just in case, and used DDU) Ram - 32 GB DDR4 OS - Windows 11 24H2 (latest update)
Game doesn't run smoothly like it used to do after update
After the recent update my game doesn't run smoothly (never had problems before). My sims outfit doesn't match in de icon underneath with what she is wearing. Going to school has the holiday pop up in the corner. So I don't see how long the morning free time is or what class is next. Like how it used to be. Also when I stop an interaction the sim wil continue to do the interaction (suddenly keeps being mean to friends even though she doesn't have the mean treat or is in an angry mood) The game is running pretty slow but my computer can handle the game normally fine The ui at the bottom keeps being very small even when I change the settings Is there a way to fix these things?Really low fps with really low gpu usage.
I'm having 8fps with the recomended graphic settings selected by nvidia app. My gpu is having 0 to 5% usage. Cpu at around 17 to 25% Memory at 18 from 32 GB Report code: PXSK-GDSR-LXGP-JGCG This started only today, before it was working. Other games are working correctly. Even if I set my graphic settings to the lowest. I get 100 fps the gpu continues with really low usage. The game is not smooth but the fps are high. Only single player tested. Time trial and player career.
