PS4/5 Game loads in and crashes
Yesterday the same issue started happening that occurred a few seasons ago. When I open the game, I immediately get a PS4 system error during the intro with the code CE-34878-0. There are no system updates available, and the game is installed on the latest version. This is the same problem that happened a few seasons ago with the Mad Maggie intro, where the system just couldn’t handle it. I suffer from this only in APEX, I did everything chat said, i contacted my ISP for like 3 weeks and ongoing, even went and bought a new Cat6 cable just to make sure this wont happen. But it still does. Its very annoying when in Start Menu it says EU_Central1 60ms when i load in game ping goes craycray with no background apps open. I even limited fps to 240 (360fps monitor). ISP provides me with 500mbps download and 20mbps upload (Their cap). This persists also in Practice range, sometimes it doesnt even let me get in (error code:leaf) it says. I uninstalled the game with all the files and redownloaded but still, download loss isnt always as in picture but most of the time loss stays like 0/60 10/60. I’ve seen a lot of people posting the same thing without a fix for a while now. And want to put my own personal experience and solution on here. I've experienced consistent packet loss on OCE ranked servers for a few seasons. The issue occurs almost every match, and has significantly impacted my ability to enjoy the game and made it much harder to climb to Masters. To continue climbing, I've often had to play on US servers, which removes the packet loss but comes with the obvious downside of much higher ping. For anyone experiencing the same issue, the solution I found was using a VPN. After using one tonight, I found that the packet loss has disappeared, which suggests there may be a routing issue somewhere between players and the OCE servers that the devs need to fix. That said, I want to be clear that a VPN should not be considered an acceptable long-term solution as it costs money, can introduce their own issues that I’m not aware of, and shouldn't be required for players to have a stable connection. I keep having Packetloss after season 29 update, it can happen like 6 out of 10 games, then maybe 1 out of 5, it’s unplayable, I did a Internet speed test and I have 1g lan wired connection as well it doesn’t happen on any other game only when I’m playing apex, on PC and On PS5 also mostly happens in ranked. My gamer is PlayboiBenz13 on both platforms. Every time I requeue in ranked matches (not go back to the lobby to requeue), I get kicked as soon as the next match starts and get the "Anti-cheat not running" error and when it allows me to get back in, it won't let me back into the match and I get the abandonment penalty every time. It's known for us that you guys don't give a **bleep** about us here in SA — no portuguese voice package (even Apex Mobile had the balls and made the investment), no fixing queue, no regional prices (R$100 for a **bleep** skin), etc and etc. But c'mon now. Ranked is unplayable. We're either getting high ping servers or simply joining NA servers (200ms average). The bad state of your game here is the reflex of your mismanagement, Respawn. You are losing players here because of how stupid and idiotic your management here is. Fix the queue. Fix your servers.Are you people completely incompetent?!
Your absolute garbage servers die EVERY SINGLE DAY! I sweat blood and tears grinding my way up to Platinum 1. My friends and I queued up for one last game. I load in, and BAM — 'server error', and I'm kicked to the main menu! I desperately try to reconnect, it gives me ANOTHER ERROR, and throws me straight back to the lobby! And what is the result of your broken infrastructure?! MINUS 100 PTS, my nerves are completely shattered, and I get absolutely NOTHING but a penalty for YOUR server crash! Are you kidding me?! I am penalized because YOUR game cannot stay online! I am on PS4, and I keep getting an error code anytime I try to play Apex on MY USER ACCOUNT. I switched to another PS4 User and the game opened but crashed and closed when I got into the lobby. I have no idea why this is happening; I uninstalled and reinstalled. Before this, the game kept crashing in the middle of matches and would heavily glitch.
