Bans caused by false anti-cheat flags while having connection issues to servers
I believe that there is a problem happening in apex at the moment that involves the anti-cheat flagging people falsely for reasons like connections to the server and reconnecting to them after being disconnectedand then banning them for the reason of "Gameplay Enhancement" . A previous pro player Edam_FPS was recently banned twice and unbanned twice for the same reasons. i believe other people as far back as 2 months have been experiencing this issue and im unsure if EA or Respawn have any knowledge of its case. I was falsely banned myself on the 21st of Jan while i was in the firing range after a tdm match, i was simply aim training when the ban occured and the only things that i had open/used at the time of me playing was "Crosshair X", Steam Launcher settings: -dev -console -preload -novid -cl_forcepreload -high -fullscreen +fps_max 180 +mat_letterbox_aspectgoal 0 +mat_letterbox_aspect_threshold 0 +building_cubemaps 1 +cl_fovscale 1.7 i also had Aimlabs open at the time of the ban but ive used both apps before simultaneously and have had no issues prior. I have also used exitlag in the past with no issues of conflict with apex. I have already submitted my appeal from the ban but i am making this post to highlight the issue that many other players maybe experiencing at this time. i cannot account for their personal interactions with the game but the frequency and timings make it likely that others maybe getting falsely banned in the same manner.
Apex Legends crashing my network adaptor
Let me start with my situation. I very recently, yesterday, just got my new pc setup, everything runs perfectly, until it runs Apex. Everything is normal with any other online games im running, but when I launch Apex and load into the lobby, things will freeze up in around 30-40 seconds and dissconnects my wifi entirely. I found out that Apex is crashing my network adaptor whenever I load into the main lobby of the game, and it will not properly reset until I fully quit the game all together. I am 100% certin that this is a issue with Apex becuase every other game works just fine, I also run other games with easy anti cheat and thoes games work fine too. Ive tried many thing in atempt to fix this: uninstalling and reinstalling the game(steam) - did not work repairing the game(steam) - did not work changing to a different platform(EA app) - did not work repairing the game again (EA app) - did not work trounbleshoot net work adapter - did not work updating net work adapter folder - did not work uninstalling and reinstalling network adapter - did not work network reset - did not work changing the power management setting on network adapter - did not work I've played apex since season 3, the game just gets worse and worse. After quitting apex for a while and taking a year off from gaming all together I just want revisit the game I loved so much before, and I am again disspointed the game. If anyone has run into similar issues and have fixed it, please please get back to me for I have searched every possible fix and related topics and nothing has worked.
lags me out and won’t let me reconnect my wifi doesn’t shut off
When i load into games anything it just kicks me out and sometimes on ranked it kicks me with out penalty and then today it gives me a ban after kicking me idk what’s going on is it my wifi somehow or is it the game glitching? i cant help itGetting disconnected mid game: error code: net
Hi guys As the title suggests I keep getting thrown out of my games. This will happen at any given moment or time. It appears as I lose connection and lag out. Which seems weird to me because usually if I experience lag, I also lag in discord. But this isn’t the case. After lagging out the game wont let me reconnect due to a connection error. If I want to reconnect I need to quit my game via steam and reboot it. Which obviously is quite annoying. All drivers are up to date & steam files are verified. I was playing the game with a toxic random in ranked me and my team mate reported it and he either left mid rank game or got kicked. Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice or if anyone has had a similar experience. I recently received a permanent ban on Apex Legends for cheating, which honestly shocked and upset me because I have never used cheats, exploits, or any gameplay enhancement tools. I’ve put a lot of time and money into the game and have been playing for a long time with friends. For context, the highest rank I’ve reached was Diamond 2 in Season 25, Platinum 1 in Season 26, and Diamond 3 in Season 27 before dropping back to Diamond 4 shortly after. My overall kill-to-death ratio has honestly been fairly poor, which is why being labelled as a cheater and accused of using enhancement tools is really disappointing and confusing to me. While trying to understand what may have caused this, I found a Steam security alert showing a login attempt from Egypt from a new device. I live and always play from the UK, so I’m worried my account may have been compromised without me knowing. I have already submitted an appeal but it was denied. I’m really hoping this is some kind of technical issue, especially as I’ve seen several other players posting in discussions saying they were banned recently as well. If anyone has experienced something similar or has any advice on what I can do next, I would really appreciate it.
Not my Apex packs bro
So ik everyone has been talking ABT the infinity loading in the top bar of apex ATM, including. Dailies and the event tracker not updating, a comment connection being the spotlight pass, but I would like to bring to attention another thing I haven't seen mentioned; I currently have the Octane spotlight pass, and I received a Legendary SMG pack, but when I went to open it, it gave me a legendary pack instead, same with my octane pack, it gave me just a regular pack, I noticed it after I opened my smg pack that I got a mirage emote, lmk if you have had the same problem, and I also do have a video of it because I clipped it on Xbox. To the support team, I think think it might change my legendary Octane pack into just a regular legendary pack which defeats the whole point of having a Spotlight pass in the first place, is the anything I can do to my account to keep this from happening?
