Whenever I have my keyboard input pressed (movement keys for example), and move my mouse around it starts skipping (see video below). Started happening on 11 of Dec. But everything was fine a couple of days before around 09/12. I haven't updated any drivers. Haven't done anything with the settings. Restarting won't help. In any other game it's fine. System specs: Windows 10 Processor AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor RAM 32,0 GB Graphics Card AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (12 GB) Pls help!Solved829Views10likes43CommentsEA FC 26

I'll try to be brief🙂 The bug itself is that when quickly pressing certain keys on the keyboard while simultaneously moving the mouse left and right, the image stutters. However, there's a catch: every time the game is restarted, there seems to be some kind of buffer that fills with the first 4-8 keys pressed on the keyboard. So, if, for example, I press the W,A,D,C,R,Q,S keys first, there's a 99% chance the bug won't affect them. However, the keys pressed after this (from about the ninth key and so on) will reproduce the bug. Moreover, this buffer can "fill" even by clicking the keyboard in the menu. And if the first keys pressed weren't the ones needed for comfortable, dynamic play with parallel mouse movement, then only a reboot and a new input will help. I tested this theory on almost 100 game restarts. And now the first thing I do before a game is enter training mode with my mouse, click the necessary W,A,D,C,R,S,Space,Shift and continue playing calmly. But it shouldn't work like that!🙄 My guide on this topic is on Steam - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3626300845 UPD: An interesting observation from steam/ZongerX is that when pressing problematic keys, Javelin Anti-Cheat activity increases in Task Manager (in my case, by ~3%). However, the problem most likely isn't the extra CPU load itself, but rather that the anti-cheat starts some background checks at that moment on those keys that did not end up in the "safe" buffer and those that are not pressed together with "Alt".3.7KViews48likes55CommentsUnplayable 5 FPS Drop & VRAM Leak on Capable PC (FC 26)
Subject: CRITICAL ISSUE: Game Unplayable - Persistent 5 FPS Drop & Input Delay on PC (FC 26) To EA Technical Support Team, I am writing this as a loyal fan of the franchise who has been playing since FIFA 14 across various platforms. For the past three years, I have been playing FC 24, FC 25, and FC 26 exclusively on PC. Unfortunately, with FC 26, I am facing severe technical issues that I never encountered in the previous titles. I purchased FC 26 two weeks ago. Although I have logged about 8-9 hours in the game, I have not been able to complete a single match without issues. The game is currently in an unplayable state due to a persistent 5 FPS lock and massive input delay. Here are the specific details of the issue: Inconsistent Performance: Sometimes, I can play the first match smoothly at 90 FPS. However, as soon as I exit and start a second match (or change modes), the frame rate instantly drops to 5 FPS and gets stuck there. Resource Usage Anomaly: When this FPS drop occurs, my GPU usage hits 100%, yet the performance is non-existent. This strongly suggests a severe VRAM leak or an optimization failure within the game engine. Randomness: The issue seems completely random but inevitable. It happens regardless of the game mode. Troubleshooting Steps I Have Already Taken: I have tried every possible solution on my end, but nothing has fixed the issue: Performed a completely clean installation of Windows 11. Set my laptop and GPU to "High Performance" / "Ultimate Performance" modes. Monitored hardware temperatures; thermals are completely normal and within safe limits. Updated all drivers and BIOS to the latest versions. Conclusion: I was able to play FC 24 and FC 25 at over 100 FPS flawlessly on this exact same system. This confirms that my hardware is fully capable and the problem lies entirely within FC 26's game files and optimization. Currently, I feel like my money has been wasted as the product is defective. I have attached the necessary log files and screenshots below. I urgently request a solution or an imminent patch update to fix this memory/performance bug. I cannot play the game I paid for. Looking forward to a quick resolution. Regards,814Views11likes20CommentsWinter Offensive update v1.1.3.0/v1.1.3.1 - keyboard + mouse stuttering/hitching
This is my 3rd update Winter Offensive update v1.1.3.0 and Hot fix v1.1.3.1 - I know its Christmas time so I don't expect a solution for this in the next few weeks, but I still want to share my issue (again). I am under the impression that a lot of people are experiencing this, but don’t know how to troubleshoot and explain the issue appropriately – I mean that with all due respect. I just want this to get fixed because the multiplayer in its current state is not playable for me unless I use a controller – and I’m not going to do that. Issue in detail (for the 3rd time): Summary: Keyboard presses + Mouse movement = stutter/hitching effect. I’ve learned a bit more today. In the firing range (my testing area), If you combine keyboard button presses with mouse movement – you get the stutter effect. If you press 2 or more keys AT ONCE the stutter will multiply (long pause or hitching effect). This does not manifest as a frame rate drop/hitch – my frame rate in the firing range is at a constant 138FPS so the stutter/hitch does not appear in a frame time graph. If I only use the keyboard – meaning do not touch the mouse – I held down the arrow keys to look left/ride and starting pressing random keys, sometimes 2 or 3 keys at the same time to trigger the stutter – nothing! its perfect! No issues. If I plug in a controller – works perfectly fine. Using a controller one hand and the mouse in the other hand = no stutter (the game allows for multiple input devices to be used at the same time, lots of games do this). When I test single player Campaign (separate .exe file) everything works as it should – no stutter when using keyboard + mouse or just keyboard or just mouse or controller + mouse. Note: Every time I start up the game, the keys that trigger the stutter change constantly. Its not always the same keys – so listing which specific keys cause the issue no longer makes sense – it keeps changing from run to run. What if you isolate each input device?: Mouse only - no stutter Keyboard only - no stutter Controller only - no stutter Controller + Mouse - no stutter Controller + Keyboard - no stutter If I use the keyboard to look around and press any other key as well as combinations of keys at the same time = no stutter. To trigger the stutter you must move the mouse and press keyboard buttons at the same time. How the hell am I supposed to play well in a match if this is happening? Solutions previously offered: Signing out of Friends in Steam - does not make a difference. Turning OFF any overlay like RTSS / NVIDIA Overlay / EA Overlay does not help. TL;DR: Multiplayer exe file: Keyboard + Mouse = stuttering mess <--- Keyboard on its own = no stutter Mouse on its own = no stutter Controller = no stutter Campaign exe file: Keyboard + Mouse = no stutter Keyboard on its own = no stutter Mouse on its own = no stutter Controller = no stutter Only Multiplayer .exe has this problem Extra info for my hardware/software configuration I provided for a separate topic - this may be relevant to solving this issue: Mouse mode (wired or wireless) Logitech G603 (Wireless) Mouse polling rate (e.g. 1000Hz) 1000Hz Whether you’re using mouse software (like Razer Synapse) Logitech Gaming Software v9.04.49 Where your mouse is plugged in (PC, monitor, hub, etc.) Mouse USB Receiver > USB Hub > PC Keyboard model and connection type (wired/wireless) Logitech USB-C MX Keys Advanced Wireless Illuminated Keyboard Keyboard polling rate 500 Hz polling with a 125 Hz effective update rate. Hey everyone, I have a GTX 1650, i7 9th gen CPU, and 16 GB RAM. I was able to play every previous FIFA version smoothly, but this year I can’t play the game properly. I already have 8 hours played, but during those 8 hours I was only trying to adjust the settings, not actually playing. The game feels like it’s running in slow motion and even when FPS seems stable, the gameplay is not smooth. Enabling V-Sync fixes screen tearing but then the game becomes slower, while disabling V-Sync removes slow motion but causes screen tearing. Sometimes the game starts smoothly and then becomes laggy after a while. When playing online, there is no ping or latency warning shown, but the game still feels laggy as if there is a hidden delay. I never had these issues in older FIFA games, so I believe this is an optimization or refresh rate problem rather than a hardware limitation. If anyone with similar PC specs found a solution, please help.
