Battlefield 6 game servers not rebooting/long up time
I noticed some of the east coast servers are not ever rebooting or turning off and end up having high up time which I think contributes to server issues. I have provided a screenshot, in top right of network info bar you can see the server uptime.Gallery with various issues
My gallery has always been extremely slow, but at least it used to work. For months now, I haven't been able to save Sims or lots to the gallery; I keep getting the “timeout during upload” message. And now, since last month, I can't access items in the gallery. I search, and some items load their thumbnails, while others don’t; the ones that show the thumbnail take several MINUTES to load when I click on them, and eventually display a “corrupted file” message. I tried the factory reset recommended here, and it didn’t help: in fact, this time not even the item thumbnails loaded. This has really ruined my gaming experience. I had to put my Forever Savefile project on hold because I can’t get new lots or Sims from the gallery.8Views0likes2CommentsThe computer freezes completely and I have to reboot.
Hello, I've been struggling with this problem for six months now. It manifests itself strangely: you can play for a couple hours and everything will be fine, but then it crashes the 6th or 7th game because of it. It freezes so completely that I have to reboot the computer with the button. Sometimes resetting the secure boot keys helps, but not always. What's interesting is that before the freeze, the FPS can drop from 120 to 50-40 for a few seconds, followed by the game crashing. During the freeze, the Windows log shows an error message saying "You need to update your secure boot keys/CA," but updating them doesn't solve the problem. Also, if I wait a few seconds during a freeze, I get a BSOD with the stop code "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION." OC: Windows 10 22H2 MB: Gigabyte X870E elite wifi 7 Processor: Ryzen 9800X3D (No overclocking) Graphic Card: RTX 5090 (Undervolted, Driver 591.86) Memory: Corsair Vengeance 2x32 6000MHz The game is installed on an SSD, which passes all integrity checks. P.S. Undervolting the video card didn't affect this issue; I tested it with the stock card and it didn't help. Moreover, these issues don't occur in more demanding games like CB2077, Wukong, RE9, etc.Severe FPS Drops, Freezing, and Controller issues on PC After Patch 1.5.3
Platform : PC Windows 11 Issues : After The Lastest Update (1.5.3) I am experiecing major preformance and input issues that have made the game unplayable. The problem occur consistently in every match. Main Problems: 1) Extreme FPS DROPS: The game runs fine during the first half (stable 60+ FPS), However, at the start of the second half, my frame rate drops drastically from 5 to 10 FPS, making the game a complete slideshow. 2) Game & System Freezes: During matches, the game frequently freezes for several seconds. In some cases, the freeze is so severe that it forces my entire laptop to become unresponsive, requiring a hard reboot. 3) Controller Issues: Even though my controller is connected via USB cable, the game suffers from constant input lag and delayed responses. Sometimes, the controller stops responding entirely in the middle of a match, or buttons get "stuck" (e.g., the player keeps running even after releasing R2). My System & Troubleshooting Done: 1) Clean Driver Update: I did a clean installation of the latest NIVIDIA graphics drivers. 2) OS Updated: My Windows 11 is fully updated. 3) In-Game Settings : Tried capping FPS to 60, toggling V-Sync On/Off, and running in Fullscreen mode. 4) Background Apps : Disabled all overlays (EA App, Discord, NIVIDIA Geforce Experience) and closed all background programs. 5) Controller Tested : The controller works perfectly in all others games and in the Windows USB game controller tester. This is clearly an issue with the game itself, likely related to the anti-cheat or how the game manages memory and CPU threads after the latest patches. Please investigate this urgently, as many other PC players on this forum are reporting similar freezing and FPS drops issues. Thank you.156Views5likes8CommentsDelay
After massive update, i have those delays 3-5secs, i have low graphics. I had that delay in January but now again. In January it fixed on its self after some time like 1-3 weeks. Delays only in online matches. I have amazing internet so its not the problem. Someone have this experience?67Views1like2CommentsBroken Glass Windows Cause Massive FPS Drop
My PC (5080 & 14900k) normally gets around 150 FPS on average, 110fps 1% lows and 100fps 0.1% lows. I was playing the Empire State breakthrough map and was up in the window near the first cap. After the glass smashed I went down to go prone and perhaps deploy the bipod when I noticed my frames absolutely tank, dropping down into the 50's. I quickly realised it was because of the broken glass. It seems to be worse when a gun clips into the texture. I've attached a few screenshots. Two showing the FPS drop, one showing my normal FPS and then an example location. I've checked this in three different glass windows on this map, I'm guessing it exists on other maps as well where glass exists like this.95Views2likes2CommentsPSA: Mouse Input is broken in this game (looks similar to bad frame timing)
Mouse input is broken, which ruins an otherwise well optimised game. This looks to be getting confused with poor frame timing in a lot of threads, but controller input is unaffected. For reference, I easily average over 100fps even on the bigger maps, but panning the camera with mouse input makes the game feel like it's running at 15fps despite no drops. In-game reporting confirms it's running perfectly, as CPU/GPU are always rendering within 10fps of eachother. Connect a controller though? Buttery smooth camera panning, and easy to track enemies. No hitches or stutters, just butter. I've tried: - All polling rates, from 125hz up to 4000hz - Toggling raw input on/off - Enabling/disabling Nvidia reflex - Changing USB ports, changing to different mice, wired/wireless - USB power saving etc all turned off - I even tried a driver/Nvidia CP restore, but as controller is super smooth, this was a long shot in the first place Unfortunately the game is unplayable using a mouse on PC due to this. It's next to impossible to track targets, and you quickly get a headache from the micro stuttering when panning. The effect is very similar to Helldivers 2 on PC, when you turn off 'Mouse Smoothing', as that game has serious issues with raw mouse input. Happy to hear suggestions on how to fix this. Mice tried: - Keychron M4 - Logitech G305 - Logitech G604 - Razer Naga Hyperspeed - AttackShark M1 I've also tried on an entirely different PC, same results. OLED as always exhacerbates the issue too, due to the awesome pixel response times. I fear many won't see it due to slower LCDs. Specs are: 5700x3d 3060ti 8GB 32GB DDR4 3600 CL16 AW3423DW (Gsync module version) This is on a fresh Windows install, up to date drivers (tried DDU as well to be sure), but honestly since it's running beautifully with a controller, this looks to be purely a mouse input issue. No other games exhibit this issue other than... Helldivers 2, and Battlefield V. BF1 is butter on mouse, as are BF3 and BF4. Helldivers 2 can be fixed by turning on mouse smoothing in game. I almost bought a GPU upgrade before testing the Xbox controller, saved myself £600. Latest CM post: Hi everyone, Thanks for sharing your experiences and feedback so far. We understand this issue is especially frustrating when it impacts your ability to play smoothly with a mouse. While we’ve asked for similar information before (here), to move forward and make meaningful progress, it is absolutely essential that you provide detailed and precise information responding to the specific request below. Giving vague comments without concrete details won’t help us troubleshoot, escalate, or investigate effectively. If you’re able to, please reply directly to this post by clicking the Reply button on this post. This keeps your info neatly organised and makes it much easier for us (and the studio) to track everything. Please avoid replying to the original post or posting at the bottom of the thread, as this makes it harder for everyone to follow the conversation. Here’s what would be super helpful for us to know: Mouse mode (wired or wireless) Mouse polling rate (e.g. 1000Hz) Whether you’re using mouse software (like Razer Synapse) Where your mouse is plugged in (PC, monitor, hub, etc.) Keyboard model and connection type (wired/wireless) Keyboard polling rate Whether you’re using keyboard software Where your keyboard is plugged in Monitor model Full PC specs (CPU, GPU with driver version, RAM) Full Windows OS version (not just "Windows 11") Whether Gsync or VRR is enabled Full screen mode (fullscreen, borderless, windowed) Which platform do you play on (EA app or Steam) Any overlays active during play (Discord, EA app, Nvidia overlay, etc.) CPU and GPU usage percentages while playing Whether the issue improves with a framerate cap (e.g. 125 FPS) The more details you can share, the better we can help. We know it’s a lot to ask, but this is the only way we can ensure the right information reaches the team and move things forward. Thanks so much for your patience and for helping us out with this.
