I’m playing FC 25 on PS5, and the game keeps crashing during certain animations and transitions. These crashes don’t happen randomly, but always during specific situations: When an opponent celebrates a goal in online matches. In Rush Mode, during cutscenes like free kicks, goal kicks, and yellow/red cards. When I open the pause menu. Today, it even crashed at minute 88:20 in a Division Rivals game right when my opponent paused the game. The crash gives me the error: CE-108255-1, and the game force closes with the message: “Something went wrong with this app.” This started around July 19–20, and happens every time in those same conditions. I’ve already: Reinstalled the game Rebuilt PS5 database in Safe Mode Cleared cache Used different accounts Other games like GTA V and Roblox work fine. So this is clearly an FC 25-specific bug. Hi, I’m having a serious issue with EA Sports FC 25 on my PS5. The game keeps crashing, especially during goal celebrations, animations, and when playing the Rush game mode. The crash shows the error code CE-108255-1. The issue started around Sunday, July 21st, and has been happening consistently ever since. Hi EA, Since July 20, 2025, I’ve been experiencing frequent crashes during gameplay in FC 25 on PS5. The game works fine in menus, SBCs, and Ultimate Team menus. However, during actual matches — especially when animations are triggered like goal celebrations, free kicks, bookings (yellow/red cards), or corners — the game freezes and then crashes. It also happens in the new Rush mode, especially after goals when the cutscenes show. After crashing, the system gives me this error code: CE-100005-6 And a message saying: “Something went wrong with this app.” I have already tried everything: Reinstalled the game multiple times Cleared cache Deleted saved data Rebuilt PS5 database Fully reset the PS5 This problem only happens with FC 25 — all other games run perfectly fine.
