Title: FC 26 – Severe FPS Drops and Performance Issues Hello EA Support, I am experiencing a serious FPS/performance issue in FC 26 on PC. The game does not maintain stable FPS during matches. FPS suddenly drops and causes noticeable stuttering and input delay, even when the PC should be capable of running the game smoothly. My PC specifications: CPU: Intel Core i3-10100F GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 RAM: 16 GB OS: Windows 11 Platform: EA App / PC Problem: FPS drops suddenly during gameplay Stuttering occurs even when the FPS counter appears relatively high The issue makes gameplay feel delayed and inconsistent Lowering graphics settings does not completely solve the problem The problem is especially noticeable during matches I have already tried lowering the graphics settings and checking my PC configuration, but the issue remains. Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone has experienced this before because I’m completely out of ideas. I’m playing EA SPORTS FC 26 on a PS5 Digital Edition, and suddenly I can no longer connect to EA servers. I can launch the game and reach the main menu, but every online mode (Ultimate Team, Clubs, Seasons, etc.) says I’m unable to connect to EA servers. The strange part is: PlayStation Network works perfectly. I can join PS5 parties. Every other online game works. EA Companion App works on my phone. NAT Type 2. The issue happens on both Wi-Fi and Ethernet. I even tried using my phone’s hotspot with the same result. I signed into my brother’s PSN account on my PS5, and he also couldn’t connect to EA servers. I’ve already tried: Restarting the PS5. Restarting the router. Changing DNS. Restoring licenses. Restoring PS5 default settings. Repairing console storage. Completely deleting and reinstalling FC 26. This all started after FC 26 crashed with CE-108255-1, although I’ve had random days since the game launched where FC couldn’t connect while every other game worked. Has anyone had this exact issue? If so: What caused it? How did you fix it? Did you need to reset your PS5, or was there another solution? I’d really appreciate any advice because I’ve exhausted almost every troubleshooting step I can think of. System Specs: GPU:NVIDIA RTX 3050] RAM: 16GB OS: Windows 11 Resolution: 1920x1080 @ 60Hz Description of the issue: There is a drastic difference in visual quality between static scenes (Pause menu, Replays, Cutscenes) and actual gameplay. When the game is paused or in replay mode, the graphics look correct: lighting, shadows, textures, and crowd details are sharp and fully rendered. However, as soon as I resume actual gameplay, the graphics quality drops significantly. It looks like the game forces a lower Level of Detail (LOD) or a dynamic resolution downgrade, even though my settings are maxed out. The pitch looks flat, colors are desaturated, and player models lose detail. What I have already tried (without success): Config File Edits: I modified both fcsetup.ini and fcsetup_default.ini in AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26\settings. I set RENDERING_SCALE to 1.10, GRAPHICS_PRESET to 4, and disabled STRAND_BASED_HAIR, MOTION_BLUR, CROWD_QUALITY, etc. Read-Only Files: I set both config files to "Read-Only" to prevent the game from overwriting them during matches. NVIDIA Control Panel: I forced "Prefer Maximum Performance" and disabled "Threaded Optimization" for fc26.exe. Dynamic Resolution: I confirmed DYNAMIC_RESOLUTION = 0 in the config. Conclusion: This appears to be a rendering engine bug in FC 26 where the game dynamically downgrades visual fidelity during active gameplay to maintain frame rates, overriding user settings. This issue is documented by other players as well. I am requesting a fix or a workaround to force the game to maintain the same graphical quality during gameplay as it does in the pause menu.Crashes freezes and won’t load
I have EA Sports FC 26 digital version and almost everytime I try to open the game or once I’m in and play career mode the game will constantly freeze on any load screen with just a black screen. It also kicks me from the game but never comes up with a crash report. I can’t play the game half the time as it constantly freezes. I’ve done all the troubleshooting Xbox suggests and nothing has worked. I have been playing for so long and I haven't been called up to any single international match within my Player Career mode. Premier League Player Of The Season. 182 goals scored in 65 appearances. 58 wins, 6 draws and 1 loss. 59 man of the match. 34 team of the week. 9 player of the month. Yet, no Ballon D'or? Yet, no calls for the Germany national team? Is this fair to pay for a game and not receive what you paid for, EA? I paid a lot just to play the freaking career mode, because I am not an online player. Then I buy it and it doesn't work? Any freaking responses about it?
