marketplace broke my game!
Hey simmers!!! i don’t want to sit here and dog marketplace (everyone is already doing that) but i was made aware that it has broken people’s games. whatever yknow i can’t use mods and stuff because im on xbox so it didn’t really bother me when i heard that. but ever since it was added to my game, every single time i open and load into my game all of the pop ups for the packs come up like i JUST bought them. i’ve had these packs for god knows how long now, so im just curious if this is happening for anyone else? if it hasn’t it’s just a me issue and that means i will find a way to fix it, but if it isn’t just a me problem than i feel as if EA really messed up. it’s exhausting to have so many bugs and glitches in the game, especially when this happens and all of a sudden everything i have besides base game is “new content” :( it’s getting pretty annoying to deal with and it pushes me away from playing my favorite game!
Game crashing due to marketplace update on Xbox
This new marketplace update is ridiculous EA is trying to add mods to these packs which are not compatible with consoles!! They need to remove them and just have for PC simmers! I haven’t been able to play since the update was released and it’s very frustrating due to frequent crashes or freezing!!! And on top of that I haven’t to constantly close the pop ups that show every expansion I’ve purchased every time I open game and all items still show as new no matter how many times I open and try to play!!! EA just remove the update from consoles and give back regular store features!!!
Gallery glitch
Every time i open my game since the latest update with the marketplace and when I open the gallery it automatically sorts by most popular instead of new and even does it in my library and when I have it sorted under following and I select households it only shows up and the latest sim that was uploaded and when I choose a one sim household it shows 4 households even though there is so much more but shows more households in the other options I don’t know why this is happening when there are no mods in my game because I play on PlayStation
Console Crashing
I've been having a lot of fun playing the game on console but recently after the big update it's become really really really annoying. I've had my game crash every time i try to create a sim for a household. I've gotten about 1 hour of work done and it completely crashed on me and got rid of my work. I tried again and the same thing happened AGAIN after about 20 minutes. I'm quite over it honestly. I thought the update would be fun but it's actually making me hate the game even more. On top of that, every time i open the game it keeps popping up with all the packs that i've bought and downloaded so i've had to clear them every time i log on. I honestly want to just completely stop playing the game for a while because it just feels unplayable but I get reminded of how much money i've poured into game and it hurts my feels all over again. Fix it.Game isn’t loading at all!
Hey! So for the last three days my game has not been able to let me play it. It loads up fine but when I am at the main screen and click on resume it loads but then stops at about 80% and doesn’t load anymore. Last night I wanted to see how long it would still “load” and I had to log off after waiting for 2 hours. I even uninstalled the game thinking that would work. When I installed the game again the same thing is happening. I just want to play my favorite game and for days now I can load in. (Playing on Xbox)Lost all my Sims
Hi this post isn’t for me but rather for my girlfriend. You see she has been buying sim packs for a couple a months now and almost owns every single pack now and has been playing and building an extensive gallery of sims and town's. She didn’t haven’t PlayStation+ by the way either which I will get into here soon. She has many many hours on the game and when an update happened it had deleted all of progress essentially like she was a new player even though it shows she has a lot of hours in the game. This has made loose interest in the game immensely and to me this just shouldn’t happen when you literally have no control over what happened to your save. She said this wasn’t the first time it’s happened too at least not this big at least she said it happened to her gallery being deleted once as well. If anyone from EA can reach out to me I would love to somehow for you guys to either refund her for the lost income and hours she has spent in your game. Non of this was her fault at all, or if there is a way for you to recover her progress back. You see this more than just using her free time, it was a passion she had building characters and interacting with other sims the community had made and building off those. She loved this game and I loved seeing her play it In her free time but now she’s just bored and has not motivation to log in anymore because of this..

The "Welcome to" thing once you open the game is annoying but now this? The fact old kits are for moolah too is absolutely utterly ridiculous At this rate the sims 4 is gonna be the worst game to play because all y'all care about is money and nothing else I wanna be able to enjoy the sims 4 again without all of this useless garbage ruining it (All the packs that say are unowned, I own them fyi)I have to launch a different game b4 trying to launch the sims
Every few weeks i will try to launch the sims and it will say loading took to long and close. I usually check for updates for my other games b4 launching anything so the system will process all the DLC. Yesterday i tried to open sims and got the loading message so i closed the game and launched Baldur's Gate 3 once i got to the menu i closed it and tried to launch sims again and it loaded no problem. This has been happening off and on for months now.
