Sims obsessively use objects
I looked through the compiled list of bugs and didnt see this on there, so if i missed it and it's on there, oops! Anyway, I'm so tired of having to delete every single computer in the house simply because it's allll my sims want to do. It's the same issue with having a bar on the lot. I know that was "fixed" in an update a while ago at this point but it's STILL an issue for me, it never stopped being an issue. My main issue is the computers, but the bars is also still an issue, my sims make themselves alcoholics. Life and Death Will Issue: Child dependent not transferring households
Household A has a child living with her grandfather. The grandfather designated Household B to care for his grand-daughter after his death. He also willed simoleons and heirlooms to Household B in order to give to his grandchild. First, I tried killing grandpa while controlling Household A. I got the "Game Over" pop-up menu stating that Sim's Child Protective Services would take care of her and find her a new home. It was my understanding that this shouldn't happen with the will set up and caretaker set up for the dependant children. I backed out without saving. I then had grandpa killed while I was controlling Household B. I got a notification that my sim was inheriting because of the will and to keep an eye on the mail in the coming days. The child wasn't transferred to Household B. It was my understanding this would happen immediately. What gives? In what scenario will this girl move households? Or is this game mechanic not working properly? I have the latest EP (royalty) and never played w CC or mods.
Caress Wheel Barrench is considered an art sculpture
The Caress Wheel Barrench functions as an "art sculpture" that Sims can view. At museums, such as the one from Willow Creek, this can end up in Sims gathering outside to admire this object. I think this is inconsistent, as other flowers and particularly another similar object from Cottage Living aren't art and cannot be viewed by Sims.
[V] Vampire sims constantly vomiting for no reason
I have many vampire sims across multiple households and they are all constantly and consistently vomiting for no apparent reason. And since most of my households are vampires, this is just really ruining gameplay for me. I have went into my non-vampire households and they are not having this issue. So I went back to a vampire household to see if I could figure out what might be causing this. Took my teen to high school and it was there I noticed something. His girlfriend is a vampire and she attends the school too, and I noticed her carrying a plate of food. My vampires have never went after food once they became vampires so this is something I have never seen before. However I do not think food is completely to blame because I have been watching and unless I missed something, it happens even when there is no food involved. Plus, drinks made at a bar seem to be causing it to happen as well. My vampires have always been able to have any drinks made from a bar with zero problems. I have not played since last September, so when I had to update the game in order to. So I cannot blame the most recent update as there may have been multiple during the time I was away and so I have no idea when this problem would have started. I have all packs and such up to Adventure Awaits. I have bought nothing after that. Game was fully updated with no mods installed. I have since used UI Cheats but the problem persists with and without it. I did some troubleshooting for a voice issue on a new sim I had gotten last night, so I have cleared cache and repaired the game as well. Nothing has stopped the vampires vomiting.[W] Werewolf textures have visible 'seams' (No Paint Mode)
I recently noticed that werewolves have an issue with their textures, where there appears to be multiple different visible "seams" all over the body. They are on the neck, shoulders, fingers, forehead, and maybe more that I missed. My guess is that they are the places where the texture is "cut" when UV mapping the model. In the end, they should not be there. The textures should be, and look, seamless. And on the back of the neck the textures jump from an overall nice look to something straight up pixelated/blurry. The colors also look off when compared to the head. These visual issues happen in both CAS and live mode. Both newly made and already existing werewolves are affected. I play on the highest graphical settings, have removed all mods and even repaired the game. Issue persists. Do not know when this first started. [LLQE] Regal Romancer: Multiple Notification about Property Value drop/increase
Constant notification of "The Abrantes family's property value dropped below $250k! His/her needs are not as well met as before and will decay faster!" switching to "...value is now over $250k! His/her needs are better met and will decay slower!" Toggles back and forth, stalling sim from interaction queue - complete with confetti animation. Fixed by removing lot trait. I tried switching to a different household to see if that would fix the issue but when I switched back, the previous household was still acting as if the Regal Residence Lot Trait was still equipped. Edit By crinrict: Added Tag to Title
[HSY] Prom disappears from Calendar
I started a new saved game after the last update, switching between two families with teenagers, and I noticed that the prom disappeared after switching from one family to another. I didn't change any lifespans or anything like that, it simply vanished from the calendar. My teenage Sim received the invitation to the date before the prom, but the prom didn't happen. I also couldn't invite anyone to the prom. Any suggestions on how I can solve this? Sims only having boys
Since Royalty & Legacy has come out, my Sims have had a total of 18 babies. 16 of them have been boys. I do not have them listen to music or eat carrots/strawberries. Statistically, this is a 1 in 2,000 chance. I've seen other people recently complain about the same thing happening in other Sims-focused groups online. Maybe I am just extraordinarily unlucky, but it's persistent enough that I figured it's worth mentioning.
[GT] Invite to join club built romance and did not respect sims sexuality
My straight male sim who is only attracted to women got a text from a random male sim (who I'm not sure if he knew or not already, I didn't recognise him) asking him to join a club. When my sim rejected, I checked his relationships panel and he'd suddenly built romance with the man who just texted him. He definitely did not have any previous romance to him and his romantics and sexual preferences are definitely set to women only in CAS and not exploring romantically, so this shouldn't have happened.
