Desync/Picker Interaction (Causing LEs) on Loveseats/Sofas
Sims are unable to sit at sofas/loveseats as the "sit" interaction is no longer available and upon clicking on the sofa/loveseat, the game generates a LE, every time. Sometimes it reads as a desync, sometimes it reads as a picker interaction. My save was modded but mods have since been removed to test. This has not been happening on newly generated saves and is only affecting my pre Dec 2nd update saves. If I am on a lot with, let's say, three units, and my sim who owns the lot is in unit one, and I have the other two units rented, they will come into my unit, and I will have the door locked so only my sim can use it. Severe lag after 1 hour of gameplay : requires restart
Hi, I'm experiencing a major performance issue that seems to affect a lot of players (I asked my community and many confirmed having the same problem). When I first launch the game, everything runs smoothly. Menus like Needs, Inventory, and Aspirations open instantly. Build/Buy mode is fine too, with maybe a tiny freeze the first time, but that’s normal. The issue is: the longer I play, the worse the game performs. - After around 30 minutes, the menus start to feel a bit slower. - After about an hour, the game becomes extremely laggy: - Opening the Needs panel takes a few seconds. - Build/Buy mode freezes for 5–6 seconds before opening. - The Eyedropper tool has a delay of around 2 seconds. - UI and general interactions become very sluggish. The only fix is to completely restart the game. After relaunching, everything is smooth again — but only temporarily. After another 30–60 minutes, the problem comes back. This isn’t a hardware issue. My PC setup: - Intel Core i9-12900K - 64 GB DDR5 RAM - NVIDIA RTX 4090 - Game installed on SSD - No mods, no CC - All expansion packs installed I also tend to play fast-paced, usually on speed 3. In one hour of real-time gameplay, I can go through 10–14 Sim days. It seems like the game is slowly filling up memory or cache that never clears unless I restart. It would be great to know if this has already been reported or tracked by the dev team, because it makes long play sessions really frustrating. Thanks!Picker interaction bug with sofas and loveseats
Sofas and loveseats are losing basic interaction options. When I click on sofas, loveseats or benches, the only option available is nap and the sitting option is not there. This also generates Last Exceptions tied to picker_interaction.py (picker_interaction.py:1287). It happened with mods installed and uninstalled.
Double Zhaleh Amani
I recently repaired my game. My sim was having an issue with his romantic preferences changing. That issue was tied most commonly to Zhaleh Amani. While testing the interactions to see if it would happen again, his preferences didn't change. But she did spawn a doppelganger. The new version of her stood where she normally stands in front of the information board. And the version that my sim is friends with walked until she disappeared. Then she respawned in a new outfit and attempted to kiss my sim under the mistletoe. I cancelled that interaction because I did not want them to build a romantic relationship. When I checked his simology panel, everything was good. I left that lot to complete a fable with another sim. And when I came back to deliver the item to Care Ren, Zhaleh Amani had spawned another time.50x50 lot in Willow Creek won't load
Lately, I have a lot in Willow Creek that's 50x50 that just won't load. On another save, it worked just fine. But with my main save it won't work. It tells me to restart my game, even though I've already done so. Multiple times. I've never used mods before and I've restarted my game multiple times now. I don't know what else to do. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Is there someone in Maxis or on The Sims team who can help? If so, please by all means, help me! I'm scared that part of my game might be broken and I don't know when the next update will be. And I'm also afraid for one of my households who don't have a house that can safely be loaded anymore. And I really, REALLY don't want to have to start my save all over again. 😔😢Dates ending as soon as it starts
After the newest update, whenever I tried to start a date the second the loading screen finishes it will show that the date has ended and receive a notice saying the date didn't go well. I have tried with different household or closing and reopening the game, but the same problem keeps happening.
