[XB/PS] Controls/Action Menus stop working (Patch 2.37)
I had just booted up the game and loaded up my save when I went to interact with the computer. The interaction menu thing for the computer came up and I could use the left stick freely to move around the options, however when trying to select an option I was unable to. I was also unable to do anything else within the game such as back out of the menu open up the main menu to save and exit, open up the controls screen, unpause the game and everything else. I sat there for a few minutes as I’ve had this happen before and it normally goes away. It did not. Every button apart from moving the left stick and the Xbox button didn’t work so it’s definitely an issue with the game. I just completely shut down the game and tried again a few hours later after restarting my console. I had the same issue again in the same save but this time I was able to click the “Write…” option and almost start having my sim write a book using the computer until it stopped on the screen where it ask you to name the book and write a description of it where the exact same thing happened again. This is making my game completely unplayable as it seems to be one of those bugs that is just inevitable in my save no matter how many times I restart my console and load up the save again. I did some testing in a different save and had a different issue where I couldn’t interact with the computer at all but my controls worked perfectly fine with everything else so it seems to be an issue with computers? [RL] Secret Lovers option isn't showing up
My sim and Cletus Harris are having an affair. When they woohoo, they get scandal and all, but the option to become secret lovers isn't showing under "change relationship". They were woohoo partners, and I kept waiting for the option to pop, but it never happened. Then they became romantic partners, but still no option for a secret affair. Then I loaded into his household, thinking maybe he needs to ask her, since he is the married one, but he did not have that option available either. I got some screenshots, if it helps. Is there a reason for that option not to be available, or is this a bug? No mods or CCs, and I have all the packs except some kits. Edit By crinrict: Added pack tag to title.
Build mode Issue
Before the recent update I placed a residential lot on a vacation rental lot. Once done editing the build, I changed the lot type to residential and moved a family in. The lot reverted back to a vacation rental lot on its own and moved the family out. I updated the game to see if that would help but it didn't and I'm now having an issue where I keep trying to go into build mode on the lot to change the lot type back to residential but when I do, live mode items are showing up like the amount of simoleons my previously played household has as well as the needs bar instead of the build/buy catalog. I do play with mods. I've tested with all mods removed and all mods in and it's still the same issue. Anyone else on pc having this issue or any suggestions on how to fix?Married couples become unmarried/partners after entering CAS
My sims got married, had all the marriage buffs. I entered create a sim via the custom tattoo option. Upon exiting CAS my sims got a pop up that they were now the partners of each other. They had to get remarried. Then I went to plan their outfits and the same thing happened. No mods or custom content. Playing on PC. Edit By crinrict: Adjusted Title
Houses/Lots Disappear
Issue The save game starts to disintegrate itself. Lots start to get deleted, causing endless loading, loading into empty lots. This issue has been around since the very beginning so it’s not tied to any packs. This issue possibly has a lot of different causes and hence is hard to pinpoint. I am trying to click on my sim to make it do things but it won't do anything and not even show the options it acts like I'm not even trying to click on them. But when clicking on objects it works , I recently had the same problem with the computers but it fixed its self I guess. Now its the opposite the computer options work but the option to click on the sims are not .[W] Werewolf eyes/ears/face glitching out
You guys really need to fix the occult packs, specifically the werewolf pack. Not only have you not fixed the nose colours which are still glitched by the way but now there’s another glitch which I just discovered yesterday. After having my sim get bitten by a werewolf and this is what happened during her first transformation. All the other townie werewolf’s are fine, but this happened in game and also in CAS. Please fix the werewolf pack, it’s been bugged out for way too long. I play on PS5 and don’t use mods or cc obviously but I’m not the only person this has happened to. My Sims will no longer perform actions unless I either instruct them to do so multiple times or keep the selected Sim selected until the action is completed since the update released on June 1, 2025 examples: my sim stops cooking to practice writing (he didn't have any skill previously and is not in a writing career) my sim stops taking care of her baby to listen to music on another floor (the radio was off until she turned it on) my toddler wakes herself up from sleeping even though she's exhausted (there was nothing in the room to wake her up and she didn't have any other negative moodlets)
[RL] Requesting Knighthood not completing
I have my sim request knighthood, the interaction starts to go through but dose not finish. I don't have any mods installed so I know its not a mod bug. I even cheated the relationship level to see if that was the issue it is not. I do not know what to do to fix it. Edit By crinrict: Added Tag to Title, Adjusted Title
