Eyes/Eyelids Issues (Patch 1.110.265/2.01)
Hello, Since my bug report been archived and lost in the deep mountain, I restart a new one with all the updated ressources. TESTED WITH AND WITHOUT MODS/CLEAN SAVE, THIS BUG OCCURS ALL THE TIME. I am a modder and an animator and it seems that the eyelids doesn't translate correctly in the game like it used to be since this bug was introduced, and it's still there with the new patch. When the sim looks downside, the bottom eyelids don't move at all, making sims looks creepy (the eyes go inside the eyelid). I did some animations with the eyelids moving down while the eyes are looking down, and the animation from the eyelids doesn't translate correctly in the game at all. It affects any animations in the game right now. This is an example using CAS with maxis animations, where the eyes aren't closing completely due to the eyelids animations not translating correctly in the game. Before the eyelashes patch, they were closing just fine. For this test, I did a simple sleeping pose I will use to demonstrate the bug, because unfortunately it's the only way to explain the issue more properly, by comparing in an animating program and then how it translates in the game. To achieve this result in the game with the eyes being closed like this : In a posing/animating program, I had to do this : There is clearly an error of how the eyelids translate in the game since the lovestruck patch. I'd like to know if maxis is aware of this issue and if they will fix this, as it affect every animations in the game. If I'm closing the eyes as usual in the program, this is the result I get in the game : And no, it's not the program fault. This happens since the lovestruck patch and again, it affects all the animations from the game, even the vanilla ones. I believe a data from the eyelids or something similar has been touched and it needs to be reverted back. I got the Enchanted by Nature pack yesterday, and have played 5 in game days, with my household of 3 sims, at least 1 sim gets an ailment everyday. I keep them happy. I went into pack settings and disabled the imbalance, all it did was instead of having 2 of my 3 sims with ailments each day, I now have 1 sim with the ailment each day. There are also a ton of townies with ailments. Saw a post on facebook where people were also reporting that the ailments frequency was far too high. I am on PC No Mods Have reloaded into the game several times and it does not help. Edit By Crinrict: Added pack tag to title. There are 3 cooking choices for the cauldron. Mac & cheese, Chili, and Cioppino. My Sim is maxed out on cooking and alchemy. She can cook all 3, but she can only collect and eat the Chili and Cioppino. For the Mac & Cheese, her only options are transform, experiment, or discard contents. (transform the cauldron because she has the sim ray) I have all the necessary fresh ingredients for all the dishes in her inventory. She can make them just fine. But she can't collect or eat the Mac & Cheese. I have no mods. Anyone else? Both adult sims have milestone moodlets, but have never experienced those milestones. One has the Sting of Rejection (from Recalling a Milestone), the other has Hated and Sad About It and Bladder Blunder. I've checked both of their Milestone panels, and neither have milestones associated with these moodlets. After putting my cow into my sims inventory to take them to the Finchwick Cow Fair 🐄 i then cannot return them to the animal shed when I get home. Have tried dragging and dropping them, clicking on the shed to assign them back in, deleting that shed and getting a new one. Buying a new cow and then selling them and then trying to assign my old cow. Nothing I do works. This is the third cow that has now gotten stuck in my inventory. Just so you know I and a few others I saw are having issues with mods that make plantsims a permanent occult. What happens if you go through a loading screen. The plantsims loose the plantsim trait turning them back to human. The mod I use is Plantsims Lives 2.0.6 by SrslySims and I also use Lotcore51 1.31.1 since it's required and I tried it with only the 2 mods and it still happens. I just wanted to make this discussion to make sure if anyone is having issues with other plantsim mods to make sure to go to the creators place were they normally take reports. Like for SrslySims their discord and give them your issue. I already told SrslySims about her mod and she's having a look at it. I'm just giving heads up since I've seen others having issues and giving message here so they can share what plantsim mod they use. I doesn't generate any LE. Just removes the Plantsim Trait after going though a loading screen. The 3 mods I know that make Plantsims Permanent.
