Lost in Random - "Origin is not installed"
So after letting the game sti for 2 years in my STEAM library I decided to give it a go. Thought that'd go without a hitch. Sadly the game is refusing to launch, telling me that "Origin is not installed". I tried everything. Reinstalling, deleting all cache files from the EA App and Origin, restarting in between steps, running the game from the EA App, installing the EA App from online, disabling my antivirus. There's absolutely no reason for this to not work, how do I even go about solving this when having tried all the solutions from every past posts about that issue on various forums didn't work.

Someone posted this issue a few years ago i think but I can't reply to it and the solutions given didn't work. old discussion This is my first post here so sorry if its bad. I play on the EA app. I have cleared my cache, restarted the app, repaired the game, uninstalled then reinstalled it, nothing is working. Everything is up to date. I'm getting wierd text id's and its stuck on loading. It doesnt show as a "not responding" task (in task manager), though. I can use E to switch the tips but it just shows "id_loadingtips_#_title" and not the actual stuff. I would love to finish this game.
Lost in Random Switch Edition Icon
So, I've been chasing this issue for years without an update. The Nintendo Switch version of this game has a placeholder icon instead of the official game art. It looks absolutely atrocious on the home screen of your Switch and hasn't been fixed for many years. It's been passed along to the publishing team, but so far, haven't heard a single thing about it. Can this please be fixed? I love this game but don't want it on my homescreen cause of hot ugly the icon is. I wanna be able to show this beautiful piece off.
Fix the game icon [Lost In Random Nintendo Switch]
Hi, I've recently purchased Lost In Random for the Nintendo Switch and I'm very disappointed by the game's icon. I've seen that the game has been on the platform for a while but the icon has not been fixed. I've added a picture taken of the icon that's currently on the Switch. Which as you can see is clearly some kind of place holder. Just two letters on a plain background surrounded by a blank border. Not great. I've also added a picture of what I wish the game's icon looked like. It looks this way on all other platforms so I really hope it can look like that on the Switch too. It's only fair. For some it might look like a minor problem but it takes away from the experience, at least for me it does. Hopefully someone can patch this for the Nintendo Switch version. It would add so much.
