Petite Alsace collaboration - Open for participation!
Aug 14/26 - UPDATE! We’re close to completing Petite Alsace with less than 10 builds in progress. If you’re interested in claiming one of the last available lots, just post your request anytime since Claiming Days have been stopped. Happy New Year and welcome to another Sims 3 community collaboration hosted by Hidehi2 , Sandraelle and soocoolsim ! Introducing Petite Alsace inspired by picturesque Strasbourg, Colmar and Ribeauville with a dual French and German blend of charming, flower-laden villages and half-timbered homes. We anticipate the completed world will be a lovely addition to your game. Experienced creators (Intermediate+) are invited to join us in creating builds to add to the base world. If you love decorating but building isn’t your forte, let us know and we'll try to build a shell for you. Everyone can experience Petite Alsace taking shape by downloading the base world and installing builds as they become available. Please keep an eye on the "News and Updates" post for milestones and links to new creations as they become available. Constructive comments throughout this event are also welcome, so don't be shy. LOT LISTINGS Map A: Colmar (Medieval, half-timbered houses with flower-filled balconies) Map B: Ribeauville (Pastel, half-timbered 15th - 18th century houses) Map C: Ribeauville Outskirts (Farming area) Map D: Strasbourg (City area, mix of old and new buildings) Map E: Avenue du Rhin (Wine region) Map F: Route de Alsace (Rural area) CLAIMING OVERVIEW Download the empty Petite Alsace base world created by the talented Hidehi2. Take a look at the available lots using the Map posts as reference (see links above). Indicate you're on board and sign up for your claim by replying on this thread with your chosen map lot reference # (eg A8). I will update the lists with claims and add download / media links when builds are completed. Every two weeks (around the 1st and 15th of the month) a new claiming period starting with a 'Claiming Day' post will begin. During this period, if you join the collaboration or have a build in progress on Claiming Day, you can claim 1 lot. For ongoing participants, if all previously claimed builds are completed and (no cc) download link(s) submitted by Claiming Day, you may claim up to 2 lots. BUILDING GUIDELINES Please stay within the theme of each map area and overall Alsace inspiration. You have creative freedom otherwise. Inspiration links at the top of this post may be helpful. All / any EA Expansion Packs, Stuff Packs and official Store Items can be used. Free EA Store Items are OK for use. Note: Some are no longer available for download so use at your discretion. NO third-party Custom Content is allowed. Please Custard Check your exported file before uploading to double check. We highly recommend play-testing your build before uploading to ensure no routing concerns and users can enjoy as intended. Do test placement of your final build. This helps identify any potential issues (e.g. windows / floor tiles out of place). To do this... export your build, save your game, delete the existing build, then replace with the exported version from your library. Take a careful look around and fix as needed. It will be useful for players if the Petite Alsace lot address is included in your build description on the Exchange, albeit optional. Do take the time to put your best foot forward to make your build(s) shine inside and out. Just be cautious about using a ton of clutter since that can add to lag when playing. Each build will be showcased with credit in video walkthroughs on YouTube once the world is completed. DWR's World of Dimness Sims Save Update Sept 21, 2026
Ladies, Gentlemen, and Goodly Folke of all Persuasions Allow me to present my progress on my Occult Heavy, World of Darkness Influenced Save File. I'll probably post an update every two to three weeks, ideally one neighborhood (or in the case of smaller worlds, one world) at a time. All of my households and builds will be available on the gallery under the hashtag #DWRWoDSave, should any of this strike your fancy. Builds and Households go up on the Gallery immediately after I finish them (internet connection permitting.) I will say that I do not limit packs on these builds/makeovers. The whole point of making my own save file is to integrate all the packs I have together. Though once I get to the Simmer Built worlds, those will probably be more mild edits than massive reworks. (The World of Dimness is an old joke from the long ago White Wolf forums about how some people- including myself- didn't play in the World of Darkness setting at the level of darkness the writer's intended.) I created a Japanese mountain stronghold
*I recently created a Japanese mountain stronghold as a companion to my earlier Komorebi palace. While the first palace was ceremonial, it didn’t offer much in the way of practical defenses, so this new build incorporates fortified outer walls, an inner courtyard, and layered security systems. The perimeter is lined with garlic garlands — which amusingly resemble shimenawa ropes — giving the stronghold both a traditional aesthetic and protection against supernatural threats. I’ve also installed and fully upgraded multiple alarm systems near the entry points. Building on the frozen mountain felt like the perfect choice: the elevation provides natural defense, the cold environment helps preserve supplies, and snow and ice offer a reliable water source. Overall, it’s designed as a winter citadel that blends cultural architecture with functional gameplay.
WIP Monster High World
I wanted to share what I'm working on, I'm making my own world, I'm looking for feedback, I've collected lots from the exhange and built my own lots. The world contains it's own description, animated Icon and picture. The world map, contains it's own Icons, descriptions. I still need to place the sims in the world, I've got about 40-50 free slots, in the world to place the monster high sims, I used mainly Rental units like dorms, to increase this count. Skelen Moania was the founder of New Salem, I wanted to give the town more identity than just being place where monster high is, so this is the lot she currently lives in. Skelen Moania, owns the local graveyard, but it's used more like a nightclub than graveyard, it's where the monster high students goto party. Coffin Bean Café is the hottest haunted spot in town for Monster High students to come after school, whether they want to hit the biteology books, chit chat while playing with monster pets, or enjoy scaretastically scrumptious snacks. The truth of the matter is that, I'm not actual a massive fan of monster high, but I do enjoy creating worlds , especially worlds with a good amount of law. What can be difficult for me, is when i build a lot, I always consider gameplay first for example that Coffin Bean Café cost less than 18K, it makes me think outside the box to make something look good on tighter budjet. I've downloaded so many fantastic lots from the exchange only to bin them, due to making the game, load forever and I just wish some builders will actual play test the lots. Just don't get me started on the move objects cheat, when I download a lot I always seem to have 10 cupboards infront of my bed.😄 I've got no plans to share the world file, I don't won't to face the wrath of the plagiarism police, but if anybody is intrest, I will post the links to everything I've used and setup instructions. The only mods I'm using are stuff I can use and edit myself, I'm trying to keep the world Custom Content free, I did make a small mod that changes the text, to say Monster high instead of Copperdale school, that was for immersion. I also use the Home Regions mod to help setup sims, I don't wont a NPC from Willow Creek walking past my door while I'm playing in a monster world and vice versa, keeps everybody where they should be.
The Victorian
Hello fellow Simmers!!! Today I bring to you a build that I did for QTSimz Shell Challenge. I can honestly say that it definitely was a challenge with the curved walls, but once I knew what I wanted it did come together nicely. As with most of QT's shell, which she gives us very minimal rules, I did move the top floor to a position that fit my need and I knew immediately that I wanted something Victorian style. So here is what I came up with: I love the way this build came out. The porch and the wildflower garden are some of my favorite parts of this build. Next I will show you the floor plan: Following are some exterior pictures: Last but not least some interior pictures: I wanted to keep the color scheme to a calming color and so I chose the teal or mint green color along with gold accents. After years of mostly playing the game, I've recently gotten into building. I'm filling an empty world from scratch, and I want to share some of my best creations in this blog. The world has a countryside, a few beach lots, a town centre and a lot of lakeside/forest lots. I will be sharing houses as well as community lots. I don't use CC, but some lots contain Store items, and I own all the expansion packs. Most lots will work fine without the Store content or expansion packs, but they will look different. Trying to find a lot
Hi, I've just returned to playing Sims 4 after a couple of years off, but unfortunately I've had to wipe my profile recently on xbox because of a corruption post update. I lost alot of good content in the process. I used to have a residential lot which was created by someone before Life and Death came out, that had a graveyard, the home was like a church shape with plenty of beds and bedrooms upstairs. In the basement there was a kitchen but also to one side of kitchen was a dungeon area with several prison cells. On the other side of basement was a number of rooms with about 3 or 4 cowplants in them. The whole feel was a spooky church, possibly some kind of dark monastry for a large household. Looking back this was a great build. I suspect the lot has been wiped from the gallery as I've searched high and low for it. Can anyone help me find it, if it is still around?
