Petite Alsace collaboration - Open for participation!
Happy New Year and welcome to another Sims 3 community collaboration hosted by Hidehi2 , Sandraelle and soocoolsim ! Introducing Petite Alsace inspired by picturesque Strasbourg, Colmar and Ribeauville with a dual French and German blend of charming, flower-laden villages and half-timbered homes. We anticipate the completed world will be a lovely addition to your game. Experienced creators (Intermediate+) are invited to join us in creating builds to add to the base world. If you love decorating but building isn’t your forte, let us know and we'll try to build a shell for you. Everyone can experience Petite Alsace taking shape by downloading the base world and installing builds as they become available. Please keep an eye on the "News and Updates" post for milestones and links to new creations as they become available. Constructive comments throughout this event are also welcome, so don't be shy. Without further ado, onto the details below and come join in the fun! LOT LISTINGS Map A: Colmar (Medieval, half-timbered houses with flower-filled balconies) Map B: Ribeauville (Pastel, half-timbered 15th - 18th century houses) Map C: Ribeauville Outskirts (Farming area) Map D: Strasbourg (City area, mix of old and new buildings) Map E: Avenue du Rhin (Wine region) Map F: Route de Alsace (Rural area) CLAIMING OVERVIEW Download the empty Petite Alsace base world created by the talented Hidehi2. Take a look at the available lots using the Map posts as reference (see links above). Indicate you're on board and sign up for your first claim by replying on this thread with your chosen map lot reference # (eg A8). I will update the lists with claims and add download / media links when builds are completed. Every two weeks (around the 1st and 15th of the month) a new claiming period starting with a 'Claiming Day' post will begin. During this period, if you join the collaboration or have a build in progress on Claiming Day, you can claim 1 lot. For ongoing participants, if all previously claimed builds are completed and (no cc) download link(s) submitted by Claiming Day, you may claim up to 2 lots. BUILDING GUIDELINES Please stay within the theme of each map area and overall Alsace inspiration. You have creative freedom otherwise. Inspiration links at the top of this post may be helpful. All / any EA Expansion Packs, Stuff Packs and official Store Items can be used. Free EA Store Items are OK for use. Note: Some are no longer available for download so use at your discretion. NO third-party Custom Content is allowed. Please Custard Check your exported file before uploading to double check. We highly recommend play-testing your build before uploading to ensure no routing concerns and users can enjoy as intended. Do test placement of your final build. This helps identify any potential issues (e.g. windows / floor tiles out of place). To do this... export your build, save your game, delete the existing build, then replace with the exported version from your library. Take a careful look around and fix as needed. It will be useful for players if the Petite Alsace lot address is included in your build description on the Exchange, albeit optional. Do take the time to put your best foot forward to make your build(s) shine inside and out. Just be cautious about using a ton of clutter since that can add to lag when playing. Each build will be showcased with credit in video walkthroughs on YouTube once the world is completed. Once your build is available on the Sims 3 Exchange, please post a reply on this thread including: name of build / map reference and/or address / download link / cover picture / custard screenshot confirming no 3rd party custom content included. SIMS / HOUSEHOLDS This collaboration focuses on builds since the final world save file will be unpopulated, however we are happy to link to Sims / Households created for Petite Alsace. hey hii 😭 so i’m gonna be real... i really need help with this build because i genuinely suck at building like it’s actually embarrassing at this point 💀 i was trying to make a merfolk castle/palace in sulani (key point 40x30 lot) but yeah... it turned into a whole struggle. i did upload a shell on my gallery (username: nh2212) so if anyone’s interested you can grab it from there!! The Gallery Shell: https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/pc/gallery/F40A7B822A76431F80D37674AC63728F?category=all&searchtype=ea_origin_id&sortby=downloads&time=all&searchquery=nh2212&max=50&maxis=false just a heads up before you open it — it’s kinda messy 😭 like there are unfinished walls, random rooms, weird terrain, etc. you can literally delete, change, rebuild anything you want, even the outer shell. nothing is sacred here lol do whatever works best for you. i also made two small ground areas on purpose: front side for a training ground back side for a water cemetery the actual house kinda starts from the second floor btw. and you’ll probably notice some columns placed with TOOL mod... yeah that mod carried me fr because without it i’d be even worse 💀 what i’m hoping for (if possible 🥺): at least 6 bedrooms a lot of bathrooms (no exact number, just enough for a royal family lol) living room dining room kitchen greenhouse throne room + ballroom training ground (front area) gym a unique water cemetery (this one matters a lot for vibes) about the household (for vibe/story): it’s gonna be a generational royal merfolk family: the king (adult, not elder btw!) his second wife crown prince + his wife princess second prince crown prince’s daughter in my gameplay, this castle is supposed to be built by the king’s father, and the monarchy itself started from the king’s grandfather. so yeah kinda legacy/royal history vibes 👑🌊 style / vibe: i’d love something like: modern + island merfolk royalty fantasy like elegant but still very ocean/underwater magical vibes if that makes sense other stuff: no pack restrictions at all, go wild i’d love both exterior AND interior done because i literally can’t do either 😭 lot traits: Oceanic Paradise + Reduce and Recycle honestly if anyone even considers taking this... thank you fr 😭 i know it’s a lot and my shell is kinda chaotic but yeah... i just really wanna play with a proper royal merfolk castle and i cannot build one to save my life 💀 ok btw, should i also share the traits and preferences of the sims who are gonna live there…? i haven’t even finished making all of them yet tho 💀
Crimson Cliffs Inhabited - latest update 2.4.2026
Here are the basic information of the world I've made. I'll add more information later in the comments about families, community lots etc. I've uploaded additional lots (and will upload more later) to the Exchange, and I'll add those to the comments later as well. Download from Exchange Story: The remote and rugged island got its name, Crimson Cliffs from an old legend: centuries ago, rumors of a massive gold vein lured ships to its dangerous waters. Powerful currents and sharp reefs crushed most vessels, and the blood stained the coastal cliffs red. The few survivors who made it ashore found the gold deposit and settled on the island. Later, with the help of machinery, the shores were made safer. Today the gold mine is still in operation, and the island's stunning yet unforgiving nature gives its residents the very best... or the very worst - depending on who you ask. Used items: I've listed below all EA/Store content I own. Not all of it have been used, but since I don't remember exactly what I used, better to play it safe... No third party CC used. This is where the challenge will be forever be updated, no more changes..lol Shelly's Premades is a monthly challenge where a wheel is spun and it picks a premade household from a pre-chosen world. Open to everyone! Rules: Makeover CAS (some or all of them, your choice) Build rooms that represent them (some or all of them, your choice) Remodel/build their home No CC/ No Defaults You can do 1, 2, or all 3 of these options if you choose. Judith Ward Collection
Not sure if this is something I should ask on here, but I downloaded the Judith Collection (Bedroom, Living Room, Walk-In Closet, and Bathroom) by TaurusDesign and wanted to know if anyone knew or has made any builds consisting of this cc? I wasn't exactly sure how I would search for this in the gallery, and I honestly don't know how to build which is why I'm looking for something I can start from, and if needed, renovate. Wisteria Glen Cemetery
Wisteria Glen Cemetery is up for download on the gallery! Built on Twin Oracle Point in Newcrest, this is a beautiful lot for funerals and laying your Sims to rest. A small stream separates a set of crypts from the rest of the graveyard, and the old Victorian building is beautiful both for funeral ceremonies and small weddings, if your Macabre Sims fancy eloping at the graveyard! The second floor is functional as a reception area, with a dance floor, bar, and buffet table! Quite a lot of hours went into this build this week, so I hope you all enjoy it!
