Hey, Madden Community! We're happy to have you with us here on the forums for the Madden franchise. You're likely here because you have a great suggestion for Madden NFL 23 or for a future Madden title down the road. This is a perfect place to let out whatever you have on your chest to improve the Madden franchise. Some rules and guidelines for this board: Be constructive in your posts. If something in game is frustrating you, we ask that you highlight why it makes you feel that way and provide your thoughts on how to make it better. Posts that are abusive or troll-like in nature may be removed per the AHQ Forum Rules. Use the search bar at the top to fill in key words to see if an existing post was already created. From our side, it's better to see one post with significant XP with the community adding onto it. This way we have similar thoughts in the same place which makes it easier to collect and read for the Madden team. This board acts like a "suggestion box" where the Forum Community Managers may be less active than the General Discussion and other forum boards. We recommend putting together a well thought out post and encourage all others to give it XP if it is something you'd like to see added into the game/franchise. The Forum Community Managers will be active in reading all thoughts here and ensure all posts with significant XP are vocalized to the Madden team. If you want to discuss the contents of the post among others here that is welcomed! We do encourage you to post on the other relevant game mode boards if you're looking to get a conversation going among others within the community and Madden Forum Community Managers. What is an example of a great suggestion or idea? A post that only says "you should put X in the game because it will make it better" won't likely gain as much traction compared to one that has reasons why the current design is causing obstacles for the community, a better way to go about the game design, examples of it happening in game (video footage isn't required but it always adds more value), and how it would be beneficial for the entire Madden community. We look forward to your thoughts on these forums and will do our part to relay these posts up to the Madden development team to digest for future improvements. How to report a bug in Madden NFL 23
Hey, Madden NFL Community. Thank you for taking a moment to fill out a bug report! This forum board is a valuable resource for both our Customer Support staff and Madden development team in helping identify issues unexpectedly occurring in Madden NFL 23. Prior to submitting a bug, please use the search bar and try searching for key words associated with what you're experiencing. An example of a keyword could be freezing, the actual challenge name, set name, pack name, etc. If there is an existing post on the bug you want to report, please reply to it and hit the "me too" button under the original posters message. You play the offense. We'll play the defense. Thank you ahead of time for your help posting on these forums! To help you post on the correct board and so make AHQ more effective I wanted to make this post to differentiate between what is a tech issue and what is a bug report. Examples below should be posted on the Technical Issues board Connectivity (disconnections, lag, unable to access account) Account issues, change email/password/security question etc. Account action/banned Trouble installing the game Bug Reports relate to issues that are not resolvable by yourself or our advisors and will generally require us to replicate the issue in-house, develop a fix, validate the fix to ensure the issue is resolved and does not cause any secondary problems and then provide a game update. Here are some examples: Audio Problems Crash/Freeze Exploit Gameplay It's critical to be as specific as possible when submitting a bug report. Why all the focus on non-simulation football modes?
As I understand it, the exclusive rights contract with the NFL gives EA the only legal right to produce a SIMULATION NFL football game, yes? So, why is all the focus of development by the Madden team on all these game modes such as MUT and The Yard which are NOT simulation NFL football? Buying packs with non-real world player ratings to build a fantasy team is not simulation NFL football. Playing 7 on 7 or whatever it is in neon uniforms and shorts is not simulation NFL football. I'm not faulting EA for including these game modes. Some people find them fun and they generate a lot of micro money and EA is a business so I get why these modes exist. But if the contract is all about producing a simulation NFL football game, and being the only company that has the right to do so, why does the lion share of development get devoted to these type of game modes which are not simulation football? Franchise mode is the mode that represents simulation NFL football, and yet, year after year it seems very little to no focus gets put to improving it. Things like SpongeBob stadiums get time and effort put into them, yet trade and free agency get overlooked? Zone coverage and blocking functioning properly get pushed to the side for custom cleats and MUT packs? These priorities seem backwards to me and out of step with the nature of the exclusive rights for NFL football. Again, not faulting EA for having these other game modes. The fact they exist is not a problem. But prioritizing them over the actual simulation football mode is troubling to many of us and why we are choosing to move on from Madden. I feel like the resources exist to still develop and nurture the alternative non-simulation game modes while still building a strong simulation NFL football game mode like Franchise. I guess if the focus is not on the simulation football mode, then fine. But then remove the simulation football terminology from the exclusive contract and let another company focus and develop that type of product. If not, then it's time to stay true to the nature of the contract and make the simulation football game mode of Franchise an actual priority every year instead of an afterthought. I do not say any of this with ill will. I grew up playing Madden when it was all about simulation football and wish that were still true, but I just don't believe it is at this point. This is why I have not bought the game since I believe 2016 or so when the focus changed to MUT and other alternative game modes. As a final thought, wasn't it Coach Madden's vision for the game to be focused on and about a simulation of playing real-life football? It was, and that is what put Madden and EA Sports on the map decades ago. I know this, because I lived it. The game as it stands today has strayed very, very far from that and it's very disappointing to see. I say this as constructive criticism, I hope it is taken as such and understood that this is the reason many people are walking away from the gaming franchise they once loved and looked forward to every year. Desync problem

I’ll be in the middle of the game and it pops up with desync very frustrating it’s making me not even want to get on . What do you expect to see? Can't Pick a Play or Call Timeout etc
I was playing a game yesterday and in the 4th I got stuck almost every play or so where I was unable to pick a play on offense. The only fix was to pause and unpause but you only get like 1 pause in the game. It was CFM and the only thing I could do is wait to get a delay of game. Thank god I was blowing him out but that could've sucked in a close game. I can link the twitch vod if it's helpful but it's literally how I described it the playart would come up and no inputs work, can't scroll and pick a play and can't call timeout.
cant invite friends
I bought this to play with my cousin and we can't even play together . Starting to get pretty damn frustated. We are friends on the EA app, everytime we play we either cant see each other online in the game to invite each other, or he can see me but I do not receive an invitation when he sends one. Try inviting a damn friend Also, include any troubleshooting, Screenshots/Clips you might have: 3 screenshots attached. One shows my friend online in the EA app (im talking to him and confirmed he is in the games menu) Second shows no friends online according to the overlay Third shows no friends in friends list in the game
