ME:3 Multiplayer - cannot invite or join Friends anymore
It seems there must have been some EA App update that broke the functionality to allow ME3MP to allow you to invite friends. Until recently you could still start a private game and then in the lobby click on one of the empty slots to select one of your friends from the EA app. Right now that does not do anything anymore. Friends of mine are reporting the same issue so it is not specific to me.

Mass Effect 3 DLC Errors
EA_Shepard Ran into an issue that I think I have seen a few fall into in recent months, that of Mass Effect 3 failing to authenticate DLC - in my case, From Ashes and the Game Pass. Picture linked. Spent close to 6 hours last night trying to get it fixed and 4 separate support advisors and none of them rectified the issue. In fact, none of them seemed to have the faintest idea what to do and seemed more eager to be able to hand the issue to someone else. My EA ID is DapperT_47, and I am using a copy of Mass Effect 3 purchased from Steam, the N7 Digital Deluxe Edition. Its the first time it has been installed since Origin was discontinued, the previous installation being in 2021 (which had no issues). The issue has been troubleshot to hell and back, I have deleted and reinstalled DLC files in various ways, EA App too. I've cleared caches and regenerated license folders. I've messed with my firewalls. Best as I can tell, there is no issue with the files, they are there and properly downloaded, and it is able to connect to EA servers. EA servers can see that I own them, it just for some reason will not accept its authenticity. Perhaps worth noting is that my EA App seems to think I am accessing the standard edition via Steam, rather than the N7 edition. Further, From Ashes appears twice in the EA App DLC management list, once like all the others and a second time telling me to manage it on Steam - meaning that it is both installed and uninstalled according to EA App. Any ideas or guidance would be appreciated, as I am rather at my wits end with trying to get this old game to function properly.

Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer "Online Pass"
So I've tried all (besides the dll mod) the workarounds on trying to get Mass Effect 3's multiplayer working, and nothing has worked. I've opened multiple cases on EA's support however the agents don't reply/don't get connected to the chat. So my last option is to post this forum and hopefully someone has any clues/answers that can help me with me be able to play the multiplayer.

Mass Effect 3 crashes at "checking for downloads" I have been playing multiplayer for years. I played not that long ago, maybe four or five months ago. No problems since 2012 until now. EA Artificial Unintelligence is beyond unhelpful. The EA site pretends I don't even own ME3 (owned since launch) yet the game was installed with their app! I have tried everything. Uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared caches, cleared histories, followed every bit of advice I could find. Same problem, same crash, EA unhelpful so... any ideaS? Thanks!!!

ME3 PC Needs "Online Pass"
Hi! I am having an issue with Mass Effect 3 (2012) on PC. It is giving me an error when I try to click on the "Multiplayer" button. The error tells me that I need an "Online Pass" to use multiplayer features, but a little research has told me that the PC version of the game never HAD an online pass; only the console versions of the game had it. I have previously been able to play the multiplayer without issue. According to another user on the forums (https://forums.ea.com/discussions/mass-effect-franchise-discussion-en/pc-mass-effect-3-now-requires-online-pass/9240092/replies/9240094), this is an account entitlement issue, and only a support representative can resolve it. I tried contacting support, but I was transferred to another representative and sat in a queue for over an hour while it only got longer (number kept going up, not down). People on Reddit have suggested directly messaging EA Help on X, but I have received no response there. Can someone here help me? Thanks.

Unable to launch Mass Effect 3
I've owned this game forever and used Origin to launch it. I just decided to play it again. I know EA killed the Origin launcher, so I installed the EA App. The game shows up there and is listed as Mass Effect Standard. However, when I click play the launcher tries to launch Mass Effect N7 Digital Deluxe and says it can't find my license code. That's because I'm don't own that version and am trying to launch the standard version. When I click on properties, the license code for the edition i own shows up. How can I play the game I purchased? Thanks.

Mass Effect Andromeda multiplayer Not Connecting
I can't play multiplayer. When I press "multiplayer" button it plays sound of pushing the button, but nothing happened. Then after about a minute I have a connection error: Connection is lost my account goes offline. Then I press "multiplayer" button again and connection turns on and is ok, my account is online, and that's all, then the loop starts again. I herd from forums that re-enable entitlements for my ME Andromeda could help. But support gay says that he did that, and the problem still here. Needles to say that my ME 3 works well, no issues, just it's should. Some more information, maybe, just maybe, it depends: this account has no progress at all, never launched a single player and never make to the Apex terminal. What can I do?

Mass Effect 3 Online Pass, Unhelpful Support
I have followed all help tips I have seen online and reached out to support. I said at one point I had an EA play subscription and they asked for the dates when I had it. This was years ago so I don't know. I asked how to confirm and they said check your email and ended the chat with me. After 3 hours of trouble shooting I finally get someone to talk to and when I ask how to get the information for them they end the chat. This is an infuriating experience as all I want to do is play a game I purchased. I bought ME3 through steam last night. Getting the authorization dlc error, got rid of all single player dlc to get rid of the error. Tried clearing temp files, moving liscense to the desktop and deleting it, and i have cleared cache on the EA app. Reinstalled the game twice. All the forums say to reach out to support but then for them to just "hang up" on me is ridiculous. Please can someone help me.

Mass Effect 3 (2012) No Multiplayer DLC?
EA_Shepard hey there, I reached out to support and they were not able to help me at all with this problem. I have Mass Effect 3 (2012) on PC through the EA app and can even login to multiplayer but none of the multiplayer DLC is available under manage add-ons. Without these DLC I cannot play with the other players who do, how can I see/find these DLC so I can install them and play online?
