[PC] Mass Effect™️Online Access Error in Multiplayer Mode
Commander, you’ve received a new message at your private terminal! When downloading Mass Effect 3 or Mass Effect Andromeda, players may run into one of the following errors: Mass Effect 3 - "An online pass is required to access the online features of the game." Mass Effect Andromeda - "Missing Online Access" Changes to the EA account cause these specific errors. These can include but are not limited to the following: EA Play subscription expired Account Mergers A separate account downloaded the DLC If you encounter this error when launching the game, first try the following steps to see if this resolves the error(s). Delete EA License Files: Make sure the EA app is closed. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time. Type or copy and paste "ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER Delete all files within this folder. Clear Windows temp files: Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time Into the new window, type or copy & paste: "%temp%" (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER" Now your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it. (If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.) If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you will need to contact our Support Team who will review your EA account and make any necessary changes with you. Mass Effect French fans: our voice actors deserve to stay, not AI
Dear EA & BioWare teams, I'm writing this message, which I believe reflects the thoughts of many Mass Effect fans in France. With the growing presence of AI in the gaming world, we’re increasingly worried about the possibility of our original French voice actors being replaced by synthetic voices. English-speaking players are lucky to have amazing talents like Ali Hillis, Mark Meer, and Jennifer Hale. In France, we’ve also had unforgettable performances by Boris Rehlinger (Shepard), Laura Blanc (Liara), Pascale Chemin (Shepard) , and Gilles Morvan (Garrus), among others. We’ve grown deeply attached to these voices. They helped shape our connection to the story and the universe. The thought of not hearing their voices again—especially for returning characters like Liara—is heartbreaking. Their contributions are just as vital as the story or gameplay. Please, do not replace these human voices with AI-generated alternatives. We ask you to protect the soul of Mass Effect, in all languages. Thank you for reading. EA App PC Mass Effect 3 "Redeem/Purchase Online Pass"
I bought the game 2 or so years ago and played the multiplatyer and everything was fine, now i reinstall the game and it tells me i need to purchase an online pass, I can't find that dlc in the EA Store and i have the other dlc. I have tried deleting my temp files and deleting the files in the liscenses folder but no joy. Also when i click on downloadable content i get told it is under maintenance?
Mass Effect 3 online pass key error
its been almost 3 years now since ive been trying to play mass effect 3 multiplayer and every time i download it again because i hope things are fixed im met with the same error when i click the multiplayer option. Error online pass key is needed to play multiplayer. where i can find this i have no clue ive searched the EA app for it ive tried searching online how to get it, im running in to a brick wall here... i bought this game many years ago and when it was owned by Origin i was able to play online happily now since the change of ownership im unable to play online and i have extreme difficulty in finding a way to even purchase an online pass key so that i can play multiplayer. i know ill be told by people to troubleshoot the issue, beleive me i did this all to many times. i have fiber internet 300upload 300download and even whilst i right this im having two games running plus streams running on twitch , i have a very good computer i need to have one and good internet because im a streamer on twitch. so my computer or internet is not the issue.. the issue is finding a way to purchase the online pass key which i cant find anywhere. can i have someone tell me please. thanks in advanceME3 (2012) won't start
As in title. "We could not activate Mass Effect 3 (2012 edition) on this computer using the Origin account you provided. Please locate your product key to activate the game using your Origin Account". When pressed "Enter Product Key", it says lie like that: "We've noticed your computer is currently offline. To activate your game on this computer using your Origin Account, you'll need to connect to the internet". I'm connected to internet. Yes, I deleted licence folder. Yes, I did buch of stuff in cmd. Yes, I played on this computer and on this windows before (I have almost 140h total in this game). I wanted to play multi with friends, otherwise I wouldn't care, but Legendary edition is missing key feature. Yes, I'm angry, mostly because of useless bots of EA. Please help.
EA App integration fix for ME3MP
Okay, so back when we had the first iteration of... questionable software implementation that was Origin - we had the ability to interact 'properly' with users in our friends list through the Origin overlay. This mainly meant things like being able to invite people mid-game to our lobbies and, by extension, being able to run private lobbies without having to worry about losing people, which is especially important with the current state of the game. (being both very dead from an updates perspective and very very buggy from a technical perspective). I'm sure I speak for the entire PC multiplayer player base, which is still surprisingly active, when I say that with the increasingly unstable and problematic experience of running and playing the actual game, it is really important to us to have lobby management and social features working as well as possible. The fact that you can invite people from the lobby means that the functionality is present and working so it should just be a case of actually implementing things properly. If not, adding support for other platforms like Discord or Steam social systems (a ridiculous long shot I know) would be better than nothing as the current state is one of the main draws for many people to this game today is the multiplayer experience which is getting harder and harder to enjoy for all of us. В общем установил ME3, включаю - всё нормально, НО. При подключении к мультиплееру всплывает сообщение "На данный момент серверы Mass Effect 3 недоступны. Повторите попытку позднее". Плюс, в самом меню всплывает сообщение, где говорилось, что "Не удалось авторизировать перечисленный загружаемый контент". Заходил в игру и через Origin, и через Steam; отключал фаерволлы - всё одно.
