Dead franchise
This game has driven me crazy. Collision bugs, falling in the middle of the road, and now, the cherry on top: bugged Skate Pass missions. And on top of that, a new season with a paid map! Wow, you've killed the franchise. I logged into the game thinking I could at least have some fun, but unfortunately, you have to pay for pixels. In addition to that, many things are poorly thought out. For example, there's no option to launch a mission in group search mode, the skate shop doesn't look like a skate shop at all, and there are no items purchasable without real money in the Skate Pass—only 5 items that are actually interesting and look good. The map is too small and too round, giving the impression of red poison in a jar. Where are the downhill runs, the forests, the construction zones, etc.? You might say it's Grom Island, but I'm not paying for that. And when will we get a skatepark editor?
Season 3 adidas bundle missing
There’s supposed to be the Adidas bundle but might only shows the shoes. Unless it’s a region exclusive, the I’m not sure why the shop doesn’t show the rest of the items from the full bundle. Anyone else having the same issue? So far I’ve only seen 2 people– 1 from Reddit, and the other from someone’s TikTok live when the person was scrolling past the shop and noticed it was missing too.So far in skate4 (season 3) there aren’t enough opportunities to gain tix
The only opportunity to gain tix is in brickswich. This isn’t enough for the new season. Or at least give us access to brickswich. Would rather this than paying to access the isle of grom. I also HATE the pay to play system. GET RID OF THIS PLS!!!!! Skate4 promised this wouldn’t exist in the game. But here it is…
Season 3 Feedback
You are going in the right direction with the new map. A little feedback though. Spillway is still too slow. In the old games (skate 3) you were FLYING down the dam and if you just slightly tapped your joystick it would rocket you into a wall. Make everything more steep and more difficult to stay on the board. People buying DLC will be more skilled than normal skaters. Your fast travel points are still bad. The one at the top starting point of the map, if you skate down and hit the jump you are going too fast and miss the landing area and slam. Why do you not have it so you start on your board and skate forward and make it so you can land. I swear you didn't test the fast travel spots. The fast travel spots are also in such bad spots. Like you need one at the very tippy top of the map so I can spread eagle anywhere. Also the bus stop thing needs to go. You need to make it more interesting where you spawn. Like a party going on and shops and people and objects. Not just to the side of a mid obstacle. How do some of your challenges start off the board. "Clean Freak" challenge you start off your board? Like do you guys test these things? Why on earth would you start off your board? Get rid of the challenges where you need a full party. If you're not going to have matchmaking don't make me do the work of finding a party. The trampoline placeable object is great. We need more functional objects. Maybe a radio with in game music to place at a skating spot. Again you are so close with the new racing missions. When we do racing missions we want to just get down as fast as possible not do grinds or tricks. Like big air, fast speeds, cool obstacles, neat spots that make you go wow that was fun to speed through. So close just need someone who actually plays skate to refine. I'm not talking "oh I spent 10 hours on skate 3 I mean someone who 100% every skate game." Maybe use racing gates instead of bearings. You just made line challenges with a time limit. People hate time limits. Make the racing more like racing and not tricks. I really like you got rid of the robot and used a human voice. Now we just need characters physically in the game who skate along side you or just stand at the fast travel party spot with store and other NPCs. Give me a setting in the menu to disable replays. I will never want to watch a replay of my tricks ever. Even on the sickest trick I have zero interest. Especially when you have the replay mode. I can't stand that you start the challenges off the board. This is probably my biggest complaint other than adding a timer to line challenges. You need someone to work on these new timed challenges. So cramped on "pipe fitter" and "fully piped". Starting off board and so cramped. Every single fast travel point you push forward and gain too much speed and miss the landing spot and slam. It is kind of dirty you made the new island paid only especially since the initial reception of the game. You would have won over a lot of hearts making the island free and just like put something cosmetic like a pet that follows you or a companion. I would like to get more premium currency in the season pass track. You have been given the responsibility of developing one of the most beloved games of all time. Please treat it with more respect.
The game made me waste the last game pass
That’s it. Everytime i completed a task/mission during the last game pass, my game froze. I’ve bought the game pass for the game last season but i was unnable to complete because of this. The conclusion? Didn’t get what i wanted and now i can’t buy the new one. Great stuff…Very Sorry EA, You had such a good thing going
Very Sorry EA, You had such a good thing going with the idea of continuing previous legacy passes through the next season but you didn’t do it. And for that I’m done playing and it sucks I really love this game but as a dad and a everyday person I manage what time I can on the games I love and this is one but it’s designed for constant grind daily and now I guess fear of missing out as well being I can’t get just a little longer on a pass I paid for it just sucks and it could be a simple fix but for that I won’t be playing and I’m sure many more have already put it down and it really is such a good game that’s only getting better all the way around except for that main aspect I can’t at least get one more season on a pass I paid for and the bad part is I was gonna chuck more money to finish it, Please Change this EA and bring back the legacy pass for season 2 to complete when I bought it at 7 days left it changed to 80 and it all got blamed on a visual glitch just let us complete previous purchased legacy passes until the next season is over you originally promised that then changed and said only season 1 will be completed through season 2 none of it makes sense you have something good do the right thing with itTix Change = NO NO NO NOOOOOO
Edit - At least make the Tix converted to a 1-1 for SVB, so the next seasom we can re-buy our tix back with the tix we grinded. Or, or just don't do this change at all. I am gonna make this abundantly clear and slightly short n' simple. I am gonna try to be calm and respectful. This change, should NOT go through. I have done every Tix challenge since release, and even gathered randoms and a friend EVERY WEEK for the OTL challenges the devs so strongly incentivised to be done with others, because they HATE solo players. I have OVERGRINDED the amount of Tix and even purchased some Tix prior to finishing the skate.pass, because of the PRIOR changes mentioned about TIX NOT FULLY being carried over season to season. Now... With the new changes announced, now I find out I WASTED ALL MY TIME AND SOME MONEY ON TIX THAT WON'T AT ALL BE CARRIED OVER?! WHAT?! WHY?! Who and What is making these decisions man? I LOVE this game and have TRIED my BEST to get people into it, because I LOVE skateboarding and I love skate. These changes man... As if the SVB greed wasn't enough, now we have 0 incentive to play anymore because Tix will go to waste. Please.. DO NOT go through with this change. I also still haven't gotten my 600 Tix refunded from the bug from the start of Season 2... in the photos attached to this forum post is my CURRENT Tix and such for proof. I am gonna be absolutely LIVID beyond belief if they all are going to waste. as a side note, YES I have also gotten ALL DIY and all boxes opened too. I only grind the Tix challenges because I have reached MAX everywhere else and got bored of grinding ripchips everyday. I login, do the dailies; get the free stuff from the store until tomorrow's challenges refresh, and then the weeklies an then monthlies reset. Rinse and Repeat.. Do ya'll devs hate us consistent players???
Suggestion: Challenge Filter
It would be awesome to have a simple filter system for challenges on the world map. Right now, every challenge type shows up at once, and it can get pretty cluttered... especially if there are some you don’t care for. You know, Stunt Challenges, for example... Same goes for already completed challenges or filtering 'new' challenges. Being able to toggle challenge types on or off would make the map much easier to read and navigate. It’s a small quality-of-life feature, but it would make exploring and focusing on the content you actually enjoy way smoother.Suggestion
I absolutely loveeeeee this game. It's so enjoyable, open-world, and fun to play with friends. Buttttt I would LOVEEEE to see the map during sunrise, sunset and nighttime with a day-night cycle to give it this aesthetic look to the map while playing and enjoying the atmosphere. Let's go ahead and consider this for the next update!
