Skate. Black screen after spots 101 mission.
After doing the spots 101 mission my screen goes black. I thought maybe it was a console issue so I linked my EA account to an Xbox account and tried it on an Xbox and it did the same thing as my PlayStation. my friend was able to complete the mission no problem.SKATE SHOP/MAP NOT UNLOCKING!!
I have tried everything, I deleted the game , I deleted all my storage I reset my console. I have done everything and my shop WILL NOT WORK! I AM STUCK IN THE TUTORIAL AT THE PART WHERE YOU OPEN THE SHOP FOR THE FIRST TIME. NOTHING WILL UNLOCK INCLUDING MISSIONS MAP AND THE SHOP! HOW DO I RESOLVE THIS????Theres nothing to do?
Why keep asking for feedback when you’ve listened to nothing that literally EVERY player has been begging for for years? You can’t even progress at your own pace, you finish all the boring easy challenges and have to wait for them to refresh the next day! Into the same soulless boring challenges on repeat! No story mode, fine. Didn’t listen to what anyone wanted and gave us an AI bot instead of pros, fine. But where are the game modes? Where is hall of meat? Where is skate? Where are death races? Where are any of the online MODES? Where is the mega park at lesst? Also regarding customisation why can’t we even get jewellery, tattoos, decide how to wear hats & hoods etc. everything we had on old skate games. The actual gameplay and physics is great but EVERYTHING IS MISSING!! Sorry but we waited 15 years for this game, this feels unacceptable.The Skate Game Culture
I think we can all agree how annoying the AI mentor is. The previous skate games were memorable solely because of the real pro skaters included in the gameplay. Your mentor was a filmer, and you had a tutorial only in the beginning (and you could opt out of it). When I started playing I was waiting for the tutorial to be over and for vee to stop talking to me.. only to realize the game is just like that. Your challenges are no longer for films , clips, or magazines. The whole collecting bearings while doing a line feels like a roblox or sonic game. It's just so unrealistic and honestly so disappointing. Its targeted to little kids instead of actual skaters who love the culture and realism of the previous games. Its fun to play I just wish it didn't feel like a cashgrab. :/Crossplay Issues and general feedback.
Crossplay Issue My friend is playing on Xbox, while my little brother and I are playing on PC (Steam). My friend tries to join my open party but gets the error code: 528614044. All parties involved have crossplay enabled but he can't join us and vice versa. I just wanted to make you aware of the potential issue. General Feedback The gameplay is fun and solid but the constant hand holding characters are annoying. I understand if some players need/want constant help every so often, but allow an option to turn them off. If we need a mission, allow us to just read objectives in a notebook/journal if wanted. It's hard to spend forever on the opening missions and have to listen to the cringey zoomer dialogue. My last bit of feedback is where are all the pro skaters, insane mini-games, and good music? I shouldn't have to put on Tony Hawk and Skate 1-3 playlists on youtube because your team forgot what good underground/indie music is. I just want to end this with, it's a solid game with a bright future, but it's missing a lot what made the Skate series good. It's hard to paint a masterpiece if you throw the canvas away mid-painting. If you want to force more missions on us in the future, I suggest getting some actual pro-skaters and fix the cringey zoomer dialogue.
highlighted objects for missions
some missions, mostly "own the spot" challenges, specifically the "undulator" challenge, have highlighted obstacles or objects that are supposed to be tricked on or off of. they say to do a certain amount of tricks on the object. but when a flip trick is done onto the obstacle, it doesnt count the trick. it only counts trick done already on or tricking off the obstacle/object. if it wants me to do two flip tricks and a grind on an obstacle, i should be able to cleanly do a flip trick into a grind on the obstacle and then flip trick out the grind of the obstacle and have that be the completed mission. thank you.Stuck in the tutorial island
After getting done with the tutorial i went to the marker where it would take me to the city. After going to the marker i was loading into the city until it kicked me out of the server. Now every time i try to play im just stuck on the tutorial island with no mission marker and no way to leave. Is there any solution to this?Skate mission bug
Tour 1: skater eyes step 7/7 im doing the flip trick and grind in one sequence also the 250 sequence score you need to get n the objective isn’t completing it’s really frustrating because I can’t progress in the game and move on to the next mission. Does anyone know a solution for this problem thanks
