Team locked User Franchsie
Hello everyone, I have a problem in my franchise. Unfortunately, we can no longer fill the Jets position after a coaching change. The last coach left in week 15 of last season and we are now in FA2 and the new coach cannot access the team. I know of a bug where teams were locked until Resign Week, but this time I'm afraid I'm at a loss. Here is a picture of what I see in-game for the members. If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.3Views0likes0CommentsNo owner mode feels even dumber with 1/4 of the NFL coaches getting fired.
I just want to reiterate this contention from release date to now. For franchise players we just want to take our teams to glory and have the rest of the league run in a manner somewhat similar to real life. Because that is a challenge for a simulation. Please implement customization options and control options that allow us to shape the league. You have MUT for guys who don't care about a realistic sim experience give us the ability to run franchise our way. Here are a few simple implementations that would go a long way. 32 team control in online franchise or the ability to "start today" in offline. Insane that we don't have this already. (Owner or GM.) A coaching Carousel that actually shows who's available and what benefit they might bring to your organization. Draft class creator outside of Franchise Mode. Miscellaneous- Options for rules changes, force unretire, force change award recipients, expansion teams, create custom uniforms, players who retire becoming coaching candidates, play creator, some sort of news that makes the league feel less like a spread sheet operating in the background. Owner mode must be brought back immediately. Pete Carroll goes 1 and done in real life. He's 85 years old coaching the Raiders still in the play through i did and I really haven't been able to play the mode since. Please just do yourselves a favor provide a suite of control and customization options that allow us to work around the problems and we'll stay out of your hair and off the forums.32Views1like1CommentWhy do you hate franchise mode?
I have been playing Madden since Madden busted out of the chalkboard on the cover! Franchise mode gets worse every year! Why do you hate us so much? Is it because we don't generate micro transactions? The last few years we have had the same issue with draft classes everyone becomes a black skinny guy wearing number 11 right now. Go into edit him and the max weight is 220, serious for a 6'7" lineman? The coaches with abilities and all is great but you took away the ability to have any insight to coaches available without firing your current coach! The game play is great aside from the occasional LB with 90" vertical and better hands than a WR. I just want to why franchise mode players are considered bottom of the barrel customers to the Madden team? EA_DanaB @ea35Views0likes1CommentMadden Franchise
Madden Franchise mode has improved in some areas, but there are still several fixes and additions that would make it feel much more realistic and immersive. One major improvement would be adding real-life offensive and defensive coordinators. Head coaches alone do not reflect how teams actually operate in the NFL. Coordinators play a huge role in play-calling, player development, scheme identity, and weekly adjustments. Having real coordinators with unique tendencies and schemes would add depth to Franchise and make team building and coaching changes much more meaningful. Another issue is wide receiver auto-substitution. While there is technically a system in place, it rarely works properly. Receivers do not rotate naturally based on fatigue, snap count, or situational roles, which forces users to manually sub players in and out. A smarter rotation system would keep players fresh, increase realism, and make depth at the position actually matter. Franchise also oddly misses the Comeback Player of the Year award, even though nearly every other major NFL award is included. This is a small detail, but Franchise is all about immersion and storytelling. Leaving out a real and meaningful award breaks that experience, especially for long-term saves where player arcs matter. Gameplay realism is another area that needs attention, especially defensive pass interference. There are frequent situations where a receiver runs a route and collides with a defender who is clearly obstructing them downfield, causing an obvious missed throw. In real football, this would often be flagged as pass interference, yet Madden rarely calls it. This leads to unrealistic outcomes and punishes the offense for situations that should favor them. Another improvement that would add a lot of immersion is player and team award presentations. When a player wins an award like MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, or Super Bowl MVP, there should be a short presentation or cutscene showing them actually receiving the trophy. Right now awards are mostly just menu notifications, which makes major accomplishments feel flat. Along with that, when a team wins the Super Bowl, there should be an option for a ring ceremonybefore the next season begins. Even better would be the ability to customize the Super Bowl ring, whether that’s choosing design elements, engravings, or themes tied to the season and team. Franchise mode is about long-term storytelling, and showing players and teams receiving recognition would make championships and awards feel earned and memorable rather than just another screen you click through. Overall, Franchise mode has a strong foundation, but these fixes and additions would go a long way in making it feel like a true NFL simulation rather than just a season mode with menus. Improving realism, immersion, and player control is what would keep Franchise players engaged year after year. Lastly, if EA is ever looking for community voices or new perspectives on Franchise development, I would be very interested in pursuing a role related to game design, gameplay realism, or Franchise mode specifically. I spend a lot of time in Franchise and think deeply about what works, what breaks immersion, and what would meaningfully improve the experience for long-term players. I genuinely believe input from dedicated players can help push the mode forward, and I’d love the opportunity to be part of that process.54Views0likes1CommentTeambuilder working again, BUT…
Teambuilder started working again for me yesterday evening, which is good, but they still haven’t fixed the glitch that has all Teambuilder team bumpers and chin straps appearing chrome in game. It’s extremely annoying and takes away from the design of my teams. Very odd considering CFB doesn’t have this issue49Views0likes0CommentsOnline Franchise user / team issue
We’ve been running an online franchise for a couple seasons but ran into an issue. One of our players accounts got hacked, then banned meaning he can’t log into ea games. He created a backup account. I read that it is possible to have a 2nd commissioner / user added to an already owned team. Which is great so you don’t lose the coaching reputations and morale boosts etc. when I clicked that option and it didn’t do anything. Now, it won’t even give me the option to “remove from league” or “add a commissioner” anymore. Further reading I noticed it’s a glitch for online franchise. Apparantly offline franchise you can add 2+ users and online you can’t. can we get specific help to remove a user from our league to then invite his backup account, or can we please get help to reinstate the current users account. thank you24Views0likes0CommentsEquipment bug issue
