Madden 26 Franchise still on week 16
EA, what is going on with the franchise stuck on week 16? Weeks with no updates... Did someone who updated the franchise get fired? No one took the job? How can we be waiting so long for an update? Many coaches have been fired, and players retired since the last update. Can someone look into this, please? -NavyLarz (Been playing since the 90's)
Madden Franchise Mode
All I want is a year where the franchise mode is a priority and realistic to real life instead of wasting your time on MUT. Please!! Not just in game experience but a real GM mode where it’s more realistic to real life. Maybe be able to hire not just coordinators but full staff like position coaches to impact player development and week to week performance. Is this too much to ask for?An online franchise mode will be held by Japanese users.
Since Madden 20, we've been gathering Japanese users on platforms like X to hold events. We've organized it so that trade negotiations are carried out between users on Discord, trades with the CPU are prohibited, and there are restrictions on stats in CPU matches, among other rules, in order to provide a more realistic NFL experience. It's a lot of fun and offers intense matches that you can't experience in MUT or regular H2H. However, just like with other online franchise modes, there are inevitably some dropouts from time to time. What are some ways to find new people? Is there an official Discord or something like that? The fact that when they roll these trailers and post out before the game drops they don’t say shi about MUT they only advertise Franchise/superstar mode ( which makes fans buy the game ) if they had a MUT trailer no body would buy this game . Soon as the season gets underway they say **bleep** superstar mode ( which has been broken for about majority of the game ) and Franchise ( which hasn’t been touched since week 16 ) but continuously update MUT daily is crazy .Update Recent Transactions with Physical Player Edits
This year in Franchise mode, players height and weight can be edited. I play in CFM cash leagues and there is no way to monitor when a players height and weight has been changed. If a players cleats are changed, it just shows up in the recent transaction screen as "Player X has been edited". In the past, edits to height and weight could not be done but this year they can be. I have been seeing many 6'6 wideouts and 6'5 corners after the draft occurs. I propose that either: A. All player edits are displayed with what was changed so that this can be monitored B. Disable the editing of height and weight. I would prefer A and also adding that if a players Dev Trait has been changed by a commissioner that information be shared in the transaction screen.Feature Suggestion – Franchise Mode (Offline Solo Play) - OWNER VIEW
I’d like to suggest a new Watch & Adjust mode for Franchise Mode, at least for offline solo play. The goal is to allow players to experience Franchise as a true head coach or general manager, without directly controlling players on the field. Core Features: Ability to watch CPU vs CPU games live with broadcast-style presentation Limited coaching control only: Substitutions Formation adjustments Defensive alignments and audibles (optional) Display the play selected by your coaching staff before or during the play Optional toggle: Show opposing team’s play after the play ends (on/off for realism) Side stat panels: Individual player stat boxes (QB, RB, WR, defensive leaders, etc.) Team stat summaries visible throughout the game Why This Matters: Appeals to simulation-focused Franchise players Adds depth without impacting competitive balance Creates a realistic NFL broadcast and coaching experience Bridges the gap between playing Madden and managing a real franchise This would significantly enhance immersion and long-term Franchise replay value. This mode would make Franchise feel less like a game and more like running an actual NFL team.Created draft class
Last night I spent hours making an actual good draft class because all the others are super outdated. Now when I draft someone ex: Mendoza when he plays he’s a generic black character with no accessories. And for black players they become the generic white player ex: LT Overton. They appear as intended when I go to edit them, but they appear the generic version in game. PLEASE FIX!! So I’ve been playing Madden for a long time. I wanna say since 08 or 09, it’s come a long way since then and where we are now, I really wanted to make a wishlist of some sort so here it is. player retirements. I find it almost heart crushing when a player in your franchise retires. In today’s league there have been more players playing around with the idea of playing longer than the normal age retirement. And with Madden seemingly being open to having more commissioner mode type abilities I think this would be a HUGE addition. I’m not asking for the ability to bring back someone like Peyton Manning. But the ability to bring back players who were already apart of your franchise save would be a good move. It would stop the feeling of wanting to create or restart a franchise just because on player retired. This is probably a big thing for me because like I said earlier, Madden seems open to having some sort of commissioner mode. If you look at college football 26 you can do things like create the schedules. edit the rules and really just make your league yours and play the game the way you want to play it. In Madden so far, you can do things like undo free agency signings turn off salary cap turn off injuries. So there are already a ton of commissioner type abilities I would like for EA sports to really add to this. Rebuild Stadium or Stadium management overhaul. This has been stale for far too long. I know that EA has been working towards stuff like new stadiums and more abilities/options with that stuff. This just feels like something that should be talked about more. GM/Owner mode. I’m not exactly sure why they would take that out of the game in the first place. Maybe it was some sort of we need to redo it and do it right so we’re gonna take it out type of thinking regardless I hope that this does find its way back into the game instead of just merging it all together unless I’m mistaken, there is no way to hire a different head coach when you start your franchise. If there is a way, it is not clear. Pro Bowl. I do think that they will be bringing this back. I think that they are rebuilding it due to the change the NFL has made to it. But I must say I don’t agree with making it the way the NFL has it. I would keep it as a normal game like it was no one‘s actually playing in it. No one‘s actually getting hurt. I think that they would do more harm than good. Changing it to the way the NFL has it now. I think they could do a lot more maybe add the NFL honors Moore presentation really do something that shows we’re in playoff season. Also, adding in the NFL Hall of Fame game would be a great addition. Madden cover athlete. I think as you progress through your seasons in franchise mode, a player should be selected for the next Madden cover so for example, if I’m in the year 2030 and Drake Maye has a historic season then he should be selected for that years Madden cover. This kind of goes back to player retirements in a way, but being able to play past seasons would be really cool. It doesn’t have to be a franchise mode thing, but just the ability to play prior seasons with those players in those teams like the 2015 Carolina Panthers or the Seattle Seahawks Legion of boom era would be really cool to play. Playing certain Super Bowl moments like the Patriots in Seattle on the 1 yard line to win the game or the Nick Foles moment so many things like that would be really cool to add into the game. So this is my wish list for future Madden’s obviously I know some of these things might already be in the works or they already have their eyes on doing some of the stuff, but I just figured that this would be a good way for me too express how I’ve been feeling about franchise mode over the past few Madden video games. Hopefully some of the stuff gets added. I think my biggest request would be the player retirements. I think that would go a long way and make a lot of people happy while they work on other things.
College football on pc
Im furious about the decision yall have made with franchise ,u took away collage nfl drafting to nfl ,knowing ths only way we can make a character and get to play them now is to just make s custom character and on console they build college players and when they are ready they transfer the players to madden so it almost seems pointless to make a character on pc madden now we need college football on pcRookie OTA’s storyline issues in Franchise
The new rookie it’s storyline feature would be beat if it worked properly. however instead of selecting a player I draft, 3 seasons in a row now it has selected the same player who was already on my team at the start of the franchise. His info says he was like a 6th round pick in 2022. So the text on the screen about first round pick is wrong or it should be selecting a different player or both. lastly the first time each season the storyline comes up the player gets a 2500xp buff or attributes at the skill position depending on which dialog option you pick which is great except then the storyline comes back up every few weeks throughout the season. Same text same dialog options but the rest of the season no buff so it is clearly meant to only happen in preseason but comes up several times several weeks into the season. EA please fix rookie OTA storyline to select a rookie the user drafts preferably that season, and make the storyline only come up in preseason as clearly intended. Thanks
