Online Pass availability on Dirt and GRID games, server shutting down *UPDATED*
Hello fellow EA community. I write this post due to several issues regarding these Codemasters "legacy" games. Recently it was known that various Dirt and GRID games are going to be shut down on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, including: Dirt 3, Grid 2, Grid Autosport and Dirt Showdown on March 2026. But this comes with two problems: 1st problem: The Online Passes or also known as "VIP Passes", are no longer available on those storefronts. Well, ofc, the Xbox Live Marketplace for Xbox 360 is already gone, so unfortunately is no longer there. But on PlayStation Store, they're not. And they haven't been for a long time since Codemasters (when still independent prior to EA acquisition) delisted them. 2nd problem: The codes on physical copies, including brand new, sealed copies of the game were made expired, meaning that they're useless nowadays, even if it had a expiration date of 2027 to put an example. Similar to the massive shut down of the old F1 Codemasters games back in 2023-2024, Codemasters support stated persistently that the online passes couldn't be sold again because of "licensing issues". The thing, is the online pass are just a single use token that grants users access to online features. They don't grant access to Ferraris or Citroën cars, which is mistakenly thought so by Codemasters support guys. The "licensed content with issues" would be those DLC vehicles or circuits, but not a online pass. I mean come on. This is a post made with the intention of asking Codemasters or EA if they can reinstate, at least for one last time those online passes onto the PlayStation Store, or make these codes on brand new copies redeemable and possible to use. I expect the same "licensing issues" answer, or that "PlayStation 3 Store infrastructure is old and this content cannot be added again". Hoping a sooner answer or clearance about this information. UPDATE, 23 September 2025: Hello again, I come to edit this thread because now EA, on the name of hypochrisy has fast forwarded the closure of the servers to november of this year. The original meant dates for March 2026 have been forwarded to November 2025. This is absolutely stupid. If you stated that they were closing on March 2026, then THAT'S THE DATE THEY MUST CLOSE. But instead, seemingly because I'm the only guy asking for the online passes availability, you probably said "Yeah, this guy's asking for things we aren't gonna add again, let's move the closure dates for the sake of money and let the PS3/Xbox 360 die already". It's a shame that NOBODY from Codemasters or EA it's able to reply to one single discussion where a user KINDLY ASKS FOR A ONLINE SERVICE THAT SEEMS YOU DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT. At this point just add the online passes back again to the PlayStation Store on PS3 and stop being like that, stop making online trophies/achievements unobtainable because of single-use online access tokens that cannot be get anymore, honestly, because this is hypochrisy at level 99 percent. So, what's the point in leaving these servers up? I've never met such a toxic playerbase. For example, another player was struggling to complete a challenge. The other players, who are longtime established players were shouting "f**king **bleep**" down their microphones at him. Was this is the only example of this type of behaviour from the few days I've been playing? Nope. The video of them failing the challenge, was then shared to the Burnout Discord server and then further mocked with more slurs, both in regard to learning disabilities and race (the N word). Not a single person amongst the established playerbase refused to partake in this behaviour. Also, if you're new to the game, enjoy being kicked the second you enter the lobby the majority of the time. Fail a challege? Don't know where something is? Enjoy your kick, and then hateful messages sent to your inbox. It's obvious that players who have played Burnout Paradise for a long time are hostile to new players, along with the racism and other slurs. I see no reason why these servers are kept open. Shut them down.
Project Cars 3 - Game freezes during a long race
Hi guys, I want to let everyone know about a very fatal bug that needs fixing ASAP before the servers get shut down. I'm currently playing Project Cars 3, and I found a solid method to grind XP, by doing a 30-50 lap race on Daytona. Here's the thing though, in every single race I have attempted today, the game freezes during the race and I lose all my progress and XP because I have to close the game and restart it. The moment when the game freezes is random, but it tends to happen around lap 30 mostly. And before you ask, I tried everything possible. I tried restarting the console, did nothing. I tried deleting and reinstalling the game, did nothing. I tried restoring the licenses, since I have all DLC, didn't work. I tried switching off internet and playing offline, froze anyway. I tried clearing the system software cache, nope. I tried rebuilding the database, didn't work either. I even tried to turn everything off in the settings that could cause this bug, NOTHING WAS WORKING!!! This is a big, big problem, because I love this game, and I want to purchase new cars and level them up, but if the game keeps freezing while grinding XP and I lose everything I have done, then it's highly infuriating. I basically wasted one entire day trying to get this garbage to work, but to no avail. Worse yet, I'm playing on PS5, so it should run flawlessly. And even worse, it's laughable that it's been five years, and nothing has been done to fix it. If anyone important reads this, get to work on it ASAP, because this could define if I want to continue playing the game or not. You guys apparently own Codemasters, so it's technically YOUR responsibility to keep it stable. Let's hope for the best. - NicoPROJECT CARS 1 (PS4)

Is there any chance you could make this event available so that everyone who recently purchased the game has the opportunity to get 100% of the game? Could you please do this one last time? Project cars 3 server issue
PROJECT CARS 3 online servers on ps4 are not working since march. although you write that they will close only in february 2025. fix them please all specified ports are open. DNS is registered - it does not help. The servers themselves are unavailable. In all profile topics they write about it. trophies and achievements for online no one can get - because there is no way to go online. It works on xbox and pc. On ps4 online is not available to anyone! "You have lost connection to the other players" NFSMW2012 PS3 Error
Multiplayer has been working fine until the last couple of weeks, I couldn't play multiplayer with other people at all. Trying to join your friends? Same error. I am unable to log into Racenet in Dirt Rally 2.0 on my ps5. I know the credentials are correct as I can log on from a computer. I have also linked my ps5 account to my EA account. The error I get is simply "Unable to sign into your Racenet account with the details supplied, please check and retry"
GRID (2019) Unable to redeem DLCs from Ultimate Edition on PS4
Hello. I bought a brand new sealed GRID Ultimate Edition for PS4 and the DLC comes in as a code. I redeemed the code on PS4, but the only DPCs that it contained are: Aston Martin Pack & VIP Pass The Season 1, Season 2 and Season 3 content DLCs are missing. It seems that by mistake EA removed them from the in-game store to redeem them. I know this DLCs are no longer on sale for new players, however, the Ultimate Edition owners still must have the licence to play them. For example, on the Xbox, a friend just got the Ultimate Edition on disc, and by redeeming the code all the content including Seasons 1, 2 & 3 are playable. So, please EA, report this issue to your team in order to make the DLCs available to redeem for Ultimate Edition owners on PlayStation again. Thank you. Kind regards
