Hey Sunflower stans! 🌻💛 Plants vs. Zombies 3: Evolved just got its first Title Update (0.5) recently and also rolled out to three new regions - United Kingdom, Malaysia and Singapore! And since we’ve got a lot of new lawn defenders from those regions, this minor content update brings back the Dangerine Plant Pass and Lawn Patrol levels along with a couple of bug fixes. What’s Sprouting in CU1.2? Dangerine Plant Pass! 🍊 The Dangerine Plant Pass features a plant that’s new to the Plants vs. Zombies universe - Dangerine! This acid spitting, zombie burning menace is created by merging a Puff-shroom with a Gremonade. You can unlock those plants in this Plant Pass along with Lime-bomb and everyone’s favorite, Sun-shroom. The Dangerine Plant Pass goes live on June 10th. For existing players, if you’ve already unlocked Dangerine and its associated rewards, you will still be able to play through this Plant Pass and earn alternative rewards. Fixes 🛠️ Fix: Volleyball Zombie had a one-frame eating animation glitch and mismatched walking speed Fix: Block o’ Cheese now deals explosion damage on destruction Fix: Level Display in Inbox of "New plant sprouted" now displays the correct image Update: Community - Autokick default duration has been changed from 14 days to 7 days Fix: Zen Garden - Increased touch box sizes for callouts, pots, and plants Fix: Zen Garden couldn’t be interacted with when Dave's TV was placed as a decoration beside the Zen Garden Fix: Three-nut linear projectile now deals damage to obstacles like Gravestone and cheese We know Dr.Z won’t be resting easy and is up to something, which is why we’re still hard at work and aim to bring you our next major update - Title Update 1.0 soon. Hola. Corregir esos errores. Gracias.PvZ3 State of the Lawn - Title Update 0.5 (TU0.5)
Hey, Sun Harvesters! ☀️🌻 Today’s Plants vs. Zombies 3: Evolved update is a big one, with a full gameplay re-tuning based on your feedback. Thanks to everyone in our community, both those playing in our Early Access regions, and players following along, for sharing your thoughts to help us adapt the game. This update aims to make battles more strategic, plant tiers more meaningful, and progression less grindy than Dave making his 5th cup of coffee before breakfast. We’re Not Supposed to Touch Dave’s Grinder. Or Any Power Tools Really. ⚙️ The biggest change in this update is a full gameplay rebalance. Damage type effectiveness is increasing from 2x to 3x, which means that choosing the right plant to counter specific zombie threats will be more effective than it used to be. We’ve also rebuilt zombie spawning to better support featured zombies, higher-tier plants, and generally create more instances where you can come up with a satisfying plant-shaped plan to ruin their afternoon. Plant progression is getting a major overhaul too. Tier 2 and 3 plants are now much stronger, while we’re lowering the max plant level from 20 to 10 so that focusing on merging and higher-tier plants feels more rewarding than endlessly leveling your Tier 1 Peashooter until it achieves enlightenment. The cost to acquire plants is coming down, rewards are being restructured, and there will be more incentive for you to give your plants the ultimate merging glow up. The zombies are taking this pretty hard, to be honest. We’re not sorry. Leveling up now also unlocks unique portraits for each plant at level 3 and 8. And you should probably get started on getting them all because who knows… there might be something in the future for all you collectors 👀! For players in our Early Access regions, your existing plant-level investments will be automatically reset and fully refunded to you. And as part of our economy changes and rebalances, we have decided to remove XP. All your XP will convert to Coins at a ratio of 1:1. Along with Coins, Meteorite Shards are going to be your main way to level up your plants. To support this change, we’ve increased the number of Shards you can earn during each Plant Pass i.e. within 2 weeks. With these changes, we want to simplify currencies, improve reward clarity, and increase the value of progression, especially for higher-tier plants. So this might be the perfect time to invest in those Tier 3 plants and watch them give the zombies nightmares. We have yet to verify if zombies actually dream. Another one of our goals with this update is to give biomes a stronger identity, similar to how nighttime, fog, pools, and rooftops changed the puzzle in the original Plants vs. Zombies. Different biomes now create different gameplay challenges, encouraging players to adapt their team and experiment with new strategies: Ice Plants are significantly stronger in Volcano Electric Plants are significantly stronger in Campground Mushroom Plants are stronger in Sewers, but expire in the light Only Aquatic Plants like Tangle Kelp are placeable in water in Campground As with many things in Early Access, we expect we will tune these changes as you spend time with them and share your thoughts. Thanks in advance for sharing your constructive feedback with us! We Trimmed the Weeds in the Garden ✂️ Crazy Dave did not say that we have to stay away from all sharp objects. HA! So we’re taking this opportunity to sharpen up Adventure Mode. We kicked out a bunch of same-y levels and reduced the total count from 150 to 75. You will be migrated to an appropriate level based on your progression. This way, you don’t have to worry about repeating the same content because of the reduced level count. Pacing is faster, cutscenes come up more frequently to make it easier to keep up with the story, key zombie mechanics are introduced earlier, and rewards are improved. Expeditions and Lawn Patrol are getting similar tweaks, with faster access to interesting battles and simpler, clearer rewards. Board mechanics are also being adjusted with more intentional pacing. Water, Saganaki Blasts, and Light/Dark tiles will now roll out gradually across their biomes, giving players time to learn before Neighborville starts politely throwing more problems at them. Finally, this update includes a wide plant and zombie rebalance, along with fixes for scoring, Zen Garden issues, profile navigation, and several unit interactions. Wall-nut and its merges can now block Bowling Zombie attacks, Chicken Wrangler and Pigeon Feeder have clearer lane-based counters, and Potato Mine-style traps can now hit all valid zombies in range. Land plants can no longer be planted directly in water. Several Wall-nuts attempted to argue this point and have since stopped floating. Grim! Neighborville Welcomes New Regions 👋 We’re excited to continue the rollout of Early Access into 3 new regions starting tomorrow, May 28th, 2026 - United Kingdom, Singapore, & Malaysia. Please be sure to join us in welcoming them to Neighborville! To that end, since we’ll have a large influx of new players as well as extensive gameplay changes, we’re bringing back the original Plant Pass lineup for this next 2 weeks, with the Dangerine Plant Pass to follow right afterwards. If you missed these plants the first time, it’s a great opportunity to hop in and grab them! If you managed to grab the plants already, in-game currency will be rewarded instead. We hope this update makes the lawn even more dangerous for anyone shambling across it with bad intentions and even worse posture. Hey Zombie Zappers! 🧟⚡ Plants vs. Zombies 3: Evolved sprouted into Early Access a little over a month ago, and today we have a fresh update storming in with new content. And, thanks to your feedback, we have lots of gameplay tweaks creeping toward the lawn later this month. What’s Sprouting in CU1? New Plants Unleashed! ⚡ The hero of our new Plant Pass is Zapture, a dramatic, volatile, and gleefully dangerous Tier 3 plant. As an amphibious plant, Zapture flexes its power on land but excels on water, jolting through multiple opponents with bolts of electricity like a hot fork through butter. It would have been a knife through butter, but all of Dave’s knives are in the dishwasher. Zapture is created by merging Tier 2 Lightning Reed and our other new plant, Tier 2 Prick-erel Weed. Prick-erel Weed is another amphibious plant created by merging Tangle Kelp and Spikeweed. While it deals more damage in water, it’s a powerful groundcover plant that deals more damage to more zombies in a 3x3 space around itself. It’s a great reminder to always wear your cowboy boots when you go swimming. New Zombie Trouble! 📺 Two new undead baddies will be shambling your way in this update - the mischievous Z-Scout Campers, and a new Zombomination, Buzz Box. Z-Scout Campers are mischievous imps who quickly befriended one another, caused mayhem, and now are set to form a conga line of destruction directly aimed at you. They’re perpetually playing a game of Follow the Leader, but are easily distractible, so they are not sure who the leader is at any given time! The survival courses they took happened to not cover what to do in case of chain lightning attack, so, you know what to do. Facing a staggering drop in productivity, Dr. Zomboss confiscated the zombies’ TV and fused it with a Beekeeper Zombie, creating the Buzz Box. Buzz Box is a large, threatening piece of technology that will take its bad attitude out on you with swarms of angry bees. This insectoid intruder stalks the air, hypnotizing its victims with must-flee TV before closing-in for the final cut. Between attacks, Buzz-Box airs original programming from the ZTV Network like "Everybody Loves Brainz" and "Who's the Zomboss?" Its flying mechanical minions, the ZomBees, swarm protectively around their commander, making getting close a painful proposition! New Content 🎉 Adventure 2: Issue 3, with 50 new adventure levels. 20 Lawn Patrol levels featuring the notorious mischief makers, Z-Scout Campers. 5 additional Expedition levels set in the camp biome. Fixes 🛠️ Fix: Umbrella Leaf now properly protects ground plants from overhead attacks. Fix: Screen Door Zombie and Umbrella / Parasol Zombie sound effects no longer play at deafening levels. Fix: Pigeon Feeder Zombie no longer looks stretched in the Almanac. Fix: Updated Sling Pea almanac entry to correctly state that it hits 3 zombies. Fix: Updated Tangle Kelp description Removed: trading for Cosmic Dust Incoming Gameplay Changes - What’s that About?? 👀 Since Early Access, we’ve been devouring feedback like a swarm of hyper-caffeinated zombies, and while our first minor update is live right now with CU1, our upcoming major update Title Update 0.5 (TU0.5) will make its way to the lawn later this month! Here’s what’s mutating behind the scenes: Plant Power Rewired 🌱⚡ You told us Tier 3 should crush Tier 2, and Tier 2 should outclass Tier 1. We agree! Repeaters were tired of being shown up by a couple of Peashooters, and through a healthy montage of fertilizer and water, they (and all the other Tier 2 and Tier 3 plants) amped up their power! When the update lands, your existing plants will be migrated into this new power structure. Adventure Mode Overhaul 🧠 We’ve revisited adventure levels, adjusting their quantity, pacing, and difficulty to create a more strategic, less predictable experience. Your existing progress will be migrated into the revamped system when the update rolls out. Seed Grind Tamed 🌼 We heard that the grind for seeds was brutal. So we’ve restructured how seeds are earned, letting you unlock more plants earlier and spend less time stuck in the weeds. This is the first set of major changes we’re making to the gameplay. We’re also keeping a close eye on the sun economy, tracking how these updates affect the balance once they hit the lawn. In the meantime, dive into CU1 starting today and thanks so much for your feedback, both positive and constructive! For players outside of our current Early Access regions (Ireland and Philippines), we will be bringing new regions online soon and throughout the coming months, so stay tuned for wider availability as we continue through the development process. If you’re playing in Early Access and you encounter any bugs, please let us know on the forums. Stay tuned to our channels for more on upcoming content updates and gameplay updates. See you on the lawn!11KViews10likes12Comments[INFO] PvZ 3 - FAQ

What are some tips for winning levels? Level difficulty gradually increases in Adventures, Lawn Patrols, and Expeditions. Here are some tips for beating hard levels: Plant plants in the Sunflower family as early as possible to get more Sun generated early on. Merged plants always start at full health, even if the plants used to create them are damaged. Merge a damaged plant to “heal” it and extend your plant’s life. Try planting Wall-Nut in front of high sun-cost plants to protect them. Some plants may counter zombies in unique ways, don’t be afraid to experiment! Check the Almanac to see how to make specific plants and what plants are zombies weak against. What are the tips for when playing the game? Defeat zombies as soon as possible to get higher scores. The sooner you vanquish them, the more points they are worth! Plants must be in the same tier in order to merge them. Check the Almanac to see how to make specific plants and what plants are zombies weak against. You must unlock a plant before you can use merge to create it. Plants can be merged twice, from tier 1 to tier 2, and from tier 2 to tier 3. You can merge two plants together from anywhere on the board. Use this to reposition strategically. Join a Community and contribute to the Neighborville Watch to get better rewards that will help you upgrade your plants faster. What happens if I have completed all the levels? Congratulations on beating all the zombies in all the levels! New levels will be added with each release. In the meantime, please feel free to replay fun levels. Purchase Why can’t I make a purchase?
