No Inputs in GW 2
As the title says, my game recieves no inputs at all. I'm not even able to access the pause menu. I have looked for solutions, but all of them are either not working or so outdated that I have played since then, if I'm not mistaken. Granted, it has been a while since I played so something might have happened since then. I just play on keyboard and mouse, and haven't had any issues in the past. The only thing I can think of is a driver update I need to do, but I can't find it anywhere and the listed issues it can cause are visual performance related as far as I can discern. Does anybody have a solution?Hacker in pvz gw 2
When I joined a game of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 on PC, I encountered a hacker who was playing as a zombie character on the plant team or vice versa. This clearly isn't intended behavior and affected the gameplay experience. I’m wondering if the developers plan to release any updates to fix this issue, or if it will remain unaddressed.Garden warfare 3
EA needs to get through there thick skull that they’re sitting on a gold mine. A garden warfare 3 would basically be guaranteed profit no matter what situation. Us a as community have proved multiple times that there is still a massive audience for the shooter games. I think the main reason that they aren’t going to make any more of them is because of battle for neighbourvile. Its commercial failure led to EA being scared to make another game in the shooter series. EA has to realise that the reason this game failed is because they got rid of the main selling point of shooter games, the variants. The fact that the EA executives approved this game is wild to me. This franchise has so much potential and yet they just threw it down the drainGarden Warfare 2 will not open, no matter what
Hey all, I downloaded Garden Warfare 2 today after not playing it for a while. I was excited to hop back in, but the game just will not start, no matter what. When I press "Play" on the EA app, the game has a little splash screen that opens up for a while. It has a progress bar, which, when full, closes the splash screen and re-opens the EA app. I've attached a video to this post which shows what happens. I've tried all sorts of fixes. Here are all the ones I recall trying: - updated drivers - uninstalled and then reinstalled the EA app - repaired the EA app - repaired GW2 - uninstalled and then reinstalled GW2 - checked Windows for any corrupted files - cleared all temporary Windows files and rebooted - ran the EA app as administrator - ran the GW2_retail.exe file as administrator - tried to delete the "Cryptbase.dll" file, but it doesn't exist - ran the EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe to no avail My main guess is that the anti cheat has some sort of problem with my PC, but I have no clue what it could be. I really hope it isn't a hardware issue... if anyone has any experience/guidance here, it would be much appreciated!EA Fix PVZ GW1 Ban Exploit
Subject: Fix PVZ GW1 Ban Exploit Dear EA, Could you please provide an update on when the ban exploit will be fixed? I would also appreciate information on when players affected by this issue will be able to play again, especially those whose save files were corrupted due to this exploit. My previous post was deleted by EA_Solaire without a clear explanation. He sent me the following message: Post removed Greetings, Your recent post has been removed as it was in violation of the EA Forums community guidelines. This is a warning only, but please familiarize yourself with the posting guidelines to avoid potential future actions on your account. Below I've attached the relevant guideline that was found to have been breached. Violating the EA User Agreement: It’s there for a reason. Please don’t discuss, promote, or engage in anything against the EA User Agreement. I responded with the following: Hello, I do not fully understand what exactly I violated with my post. The content was purely informational — explaining how to launch the game if your data was affected by the so-called "ban exploit." In my case, my game data was corrupted by a malicious actor exploiting this vulnerability, causing me to lose access to the game even though my account was not banned. I believe there are others in the community who could help restore corrupted save files or explain how to bypass this issue. Currently, I cannot access the game I paid for. My data is essentially controlled by a third party (the game publisher) without my consent, and there is no clear way for me to restore access on my own. This situation seems to violate European Union legislation, including: GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) – Violations of Article 5 (Principles relating to processing of personal data), Article 7 (Conditions for consent), Article 15 (Right of access), Article 17 (Right to erasure), and Article 20 (Right to data portability). Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices – Misleading consumers regarding the stability of the service and the possibility of restoring access to purchased content in case of technical failures or attacks. Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights – Violations of the right to receive a properly functioning digital product and the right to clear information about how to resolve access issues. Directive (EU) 2019/770 on digital content and digital services – Lack of transparent conditions for restoring access to digital content when affected by third-party interference (e.g., hacker attacks). As a result, my purchase is now unusable due to external factors, and no mechanism has been provided to protect my consumer rights. Despite contacting support over 10 times, the issue remains unresolved. Could you please clarify: What did I violate in my previous post? Will I be refunded for the game, which is now unplayable due to third-party interference? How does EA plan to address this issue in compliance with European legislation? Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Sergey Klimenok Additionally, for players who are familiar with cheat engine, please contact me as I have found a way to launch the game in online Garden Ops mode despite the exploit.PvZ GW2 refuses to launch. (Steam)
On startup, the game boots up its little splash screen. The progress bar gets to 99-100% and then it just crashes and the EA app opens (from system tray). I have restarted my computer - multiple times- re-installed both GW2 and the EA app and installed the latest graphics driver, I've started the EA app as administrator, I think I'm running out of options here. Can anyone help?Solved
