Just a few things I’ve noticed now that my online leagues have started. First, when you create the league all the cpu teams spend some of the dynasty points which is causing everyone except the league creator to start year 1 with less points than they should have. Not that serious but sucks especially for the smaller schools. Next the 3-4 zone pressure playbook is bugged. When you set it as your defense under scheme it rests to multiple and you aren’t able to do formation subs for the defense you want to run. Again not a huge deal but wanted to bring it to the light if no one else has. Another thing I’ve noticed is recruits will hard commit to a school with no scholarship offer. Then when the next season starts they’ll be on your roster if you were their top or only team to offer a scholarship. Overall I’m enjoying this year’s game I think it’s much improved from 26 and I’m hoping some of the minor bugs will get patched without breaking things that are already working great lol.9Views0likes0CommentsEA FIX THIS GAME
EAi I am tired of losing to low level teams. I like simulating games of low level teams. Never had any issues in 25 and 26. Now in 27 my 99 ovr 5 star team cant beat an 85 ovr team WTF. Fix this. Ive been playing CFB since day one that is 2002. This will be my last game if you do not fix this and many other bugs your developers have put in the game. The microtransactions weren't an issue for me if you had left the coach progression sliders in. Some of us dont want an extremely hard game are even an impossible game. Fix it put everything 26 had in it and move on. I dont want to play for 30 season and still not have my coach at level 100. I have adjusted alot of setting recommended online to get my receivers to become open in varsity mode but for some reason the defense flys like magic 10 yards away to intercept or even worse they actually run the route better then the receivers. Fix it or im done with CFB. What a waste of time and money. Oh to top it off fix recruiting. I have had numerous hard committs all season and the last game of the season now i dont meet there deal breaker, i cant cut them they stay on my board and use my NILGAME BREAKING GLITCH RUINING NIL AND RECRUITING FOR DYNASTY TEAMS
Last night we advanced to week 0 of an online dynasty league I play in. Was going through my recruiting board offering NIL and putting hours on my players sorting by positions. Had 5 recruiting hours left for one last offer, while I’m hovering over FS to switch to SS instantly all the SS on my board disappeared. I continued to search and found the same result that all my other positions besides my initial FS I was hovering over were now all off my recruiting board with the NIL and recruiting hours not refunding to me. We just advanced to week 1 today and I see the hours are now all back but the previous 2000+ NIL I offered the players that disappeared off my board is still showing as “spent” inside my manage blueprint (screenshot below). This has been a glitch going on since CFB 25 but it essentially only set you back 1 week of recruiting since the hours always came back the next week. With the addition of NIL and how crucial a factor it plays in your schools success this year teams like mine cannot afford to have 2000+ NIL disappear that they cannot use. Has anyone in any online/offline dynasties dealt with this same problem and if so are there any solutions to get the missing NIL points back?? This is truly GAME BREAKING and I have not seen much talk around it, any help/knowledge about this issue is much appreciated.Recruits going to draft but still taking NIL money regardless
at the end of the year when you manage the NIL for the upcoming year, there would be players that are declaring for the draft but asking for NIL. so i would spend lots of the money to retain them, just for them to get drafted anyways & the NIL that i spent on them, gone as well... this is a ridiculous bug. trying to rebuild a small school with limited resources then being finessed by a bug is crazy. if yall would fix the screen at the time of negotiations & let it be known that they're going to declare for the draft instead of it saying they may be leaving due to a dealbreaker would actually make sense.. its like we're forced to guess & more times than not, we're wrong. then money just disappears.. fix the game man. please.125Views0likes6CommentsLock in on Hard Commit or Allow incoming Freshmen to be cut.
I hate it when I have a recruit on Hard Commit and then they decommit in week 6-12 due to playing style dealbreaker and their recruiting starts all over again with User team ranked 6th-10th, (if they were already in top 5 we get automatically locked out). Have a Hard Commit count as a guaranteed signing, it hurts my future when a player is banked on being on the team, so i can stop recruiting for that position and they end up flipping from hard commit due to a dealbreaker and going elsewhere, cause a waste of hours on that recruit. It would help to allow fresh recruits to be transferred out after signing day in the offseason that they are signed. You're forcing us over recruit just in case and not allowing use to cut the spares until the next offseason, True Freshman do transfer out if an incoming Transfer comes in and the position they are in looks completely different after the Portal signings, so allow us to Encourage Transfers for True Freshman.23Views2likes1CommentDynasty Needs Spring Football?
The transfer portal has completely changed college football. I think Dynasty should evolve with it. I’d love to see a Spring Football period between recruiting and the regular season where you can: Play 1–3 spring games. Evaluate incoming freshmen against real competition. See how transfers fit before Week 1. Give backups meaningful reps. Battle for starting jobs. Unlock player development and position battles based on performance. To keep it authentic: Half-filled stadiums. Practice jerseys instead of full uniforms. Coaches on the field during gameplay. Smaller crowds and a more relaxed atmosphere. Broadcast presentation focused on evaluation instead of championships. This would add another layer of strategy. Right now you recruit players, but you don’t really get to develop or evaluate them before the season starts. Imagine finding out your 3-star freshman QB is actually a hidden gem because he dominated during spring ball—or realizing your highly rated transfer isn’t ready yet. I think it would make Dynasty feel much more like modern college football. Would anyone else play this, or is it just me?25Views3likes1CommentHow to Fix Recruiting
It's been pretty clearly documented that recruiting is a disaster. Piles of 4-star recruits not signed, then they "patch" it by simply removing a bunch of recruits from the class each year. Of course this doesn't fix the core problem. IRL there are about 450 5-star and 4-star combined recruits each year. The VAST majority of them sign FBS schools. Some sign with lower tier schools, and you have your handful of academic/eligibility cases. In addition a good chunk of 3-star recruits sign as well. Obviously the big group of 4-stars not signing was unrealistic. But it's also obvious that chopping that pool doesn't fix the underlying problem. This would do it. 1. Ensure the aggregate NIL economy is viable I haven't done the math, but this is clearly the most important first step. Across all FBS programs, the game needs enough combined Recruiting NIL to support: - Every 5-star recruit - Effectively every 4-star recruit - A large portion of 3-star recruits Basically compare the total Recruiting NIL after roster NIL, staff, and facility expenses and compare it to the total NIL demand by all recruits. The numbers don't have to match, but it should be close every year. 2. National Ranking should impact NIL expectations Not all 4-star recruits are the same. Or at least they shouldn't be. It's well known among players that National Ranking has no relation to talent. The top and bottom ranked 4-star players have equal opportunity to have higher rating. But does this also apply to NIL expectations? The top 4-star should expect a much greater NIL deal than the bottom rated 4-star. This is not only realistic, but it also lowers the overall NIL pool needed to sign them all. 3. Recruiting must resolve faster and become increasingly fluid as the season progresses This is in my opinion the biggest recruiting issue. Every single recruit requires a long courtship and huge hours have to be spent to convince players to commit. If you lose a recruit in week 10, the players don't suddenly sign faster. The same process has to be completed, spending hours and hours to build your school standing to the commitment point. Often you simply run out of time, and the player ends up with no school at all. More realistic would be for players to move along the in greater leaps as the season moves toward the final weeks. 4. Recruits must adjust expectations to respond to the market Really this is 3b. Not only should players feel more urgency to take an offer as time starts running out, they should be willing to adjust their expectations. Taking half of what you originally wanted and signing, knowing they can ask for more next year, should be infinitely more attractive than standing on a hard line and just not signing at all. I don't know that I've ever seen a recruit lower their expectation in game. 5. CPU teams have to get better at reacting to the board Players know when a recruit is a lost cause and will move on, reallocating hours and NIL. CPU controlled teams will ride it out until the bitter end. How many recruits are still being targeted by multiple schools when they significantly behind and have other options? Too many. I know this is a long post, and might come across as a little condescending, but if an idiot like me can see it, why can't the team of developers at EA?38Views2likes0CommentsTrouble with understanding recruiting needs as they change during the season
I'm struggling to understand why and how to manage recruiting needs throughout the regular season. For example, at the beginning, it tells me I need 6 WRs, but halfway through the season, it says I need zero, and new needs arise. Any tips on how to handle these changes and why they're changing would be helpful.18Views1like0Comments
