Proposal: Dynamic Draft Stock
I would like to suggest a more dynamic system for determining which Dynasty players enter the NFL Draft. Currently, draft outcomes appear to depend heavily on a player’s overall rating. This can create unrealistic results where highly productive players simply graduate instead of being drafted because their overall rating is below an internal threshold. For example, I had an 83-overall running back who broke multiple school records, earned All-American honors, won several awards, and helped lead the team to the College Football Playoff semifinals. Despite that level of production, his departure was listed as graduation rather than the pro draft. I believe overall rating should remain an important part of draft evaluation, but it should not be the only major factor. A Draft Stock score could be calculated throughout the season using factors such as: Overall rating Season statistics Career statistics National statistical rankings Conference and national awards All-American selections School and NCAA records Playoff and championship performance Physical attributes relevant to the player’s position Player age and class Overall rating could provide the player’s baseline draft score. Production, awards, and major accomplishments could then add to that score. For example, a player rated between 90 and 95 overall might receive a strong baseline score. That player could then receive additional draft-stock points for recording 1,200 receiving yards, scoring touchdowns, earning All-American honors, or winning a positional award. The players with the highest Draft Stock scores could then be placed into the seven-round draft pool. Since there are 32 selections in each of seven rounds, the game could rank eligible players while also applying realistic positional demand. This would allow an elite-rated player with average production to remain a strong prospect, while also allowing an 82- or 83-overall player with an exceptional season to become a legitimate late-round draft pick. The main benefit would be that player performance would matter beyond awards and school records. A breakout season would affect a player’s professional future, which would make Dynasty results feel more connected and believable. An 83-overall running back who leads the nation in rushing, earns All-American honors, wins the Doak Walker Award, and breaks school records should at least have a realistic chance of being drafted rather than automatically being categorized as a graduating player.6Views0likes0CommentsCFB 28 Dynasty/Game wish list
In college football 27 Dynasty, you get 30 seasons, NCAA 14 gave you 60 seasons. It is understandable that the limit is because of console limitations and memory base. But 30 seasons is enough to reach level 100 with the current XP sliders. If you were to win a national championship every other year for 30 seasons, you would only reach like level 75. With more seasons, give us a guarantee that we can retire our coach with max level. Team builder in the base game and the ability to have a custom conference by creating a new conference and select selecting that logo, and having 5-8 slots available for new teams other than replacing another one like you were able to in NCAA 14 which gave you 12 team builder teams to import. in the dynasty blueprint, you are able to upgrade facilities and all that great addition, it would be nice to add onto that to build a new stadium in college football 28 by using Madden’s engine from franchise. Historic Teams/Rosters for play now. You could use “Ultimate Team’s” licensing to put the players in the historic teams while maintaining ultimate team in the game used for off-line and online like in college football 27’s mascot mashup. You could use the MVP+ membership to unlock all mascots and historic teams. Unlocking All the historic teams and mascots having to unlock them if the MVP+ membership wasn’t Purchased. Pregame picks for games that you’re playing in introduced in NCAA 06 would show the announcers for the game that you were playing, then it was Brad Nestler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Lee Corso, (those guys are obviously not in the game) so you could use today’s announcers and pay tribute to Lee Corso head gear picking by Jesse Palmer or David Pollock or one of the guys in the booth choosing the mascot head. This would probably only be for Dynasty and Road to glory. And showing Holly Rowe rendering her like you would see in 2K for the sideline reporters. You could use a weekly wrap up, but instead of that it would be before with gameday being played or have the option to watch game day in the rankings of teams. Have it be like 5 to 8 minutes, in your dynasty or road to glory. this one is a small ask, but the ability to chew your players out like you would get chewed out by your coach in college football 27 Road the glory. A small detail, but have your player being chewed out by your coach have the ability to have like a cut scene showing a camera of your couch chewing out a player of yours after a mistake they made and vice versa when they do good show them praising them. In dynasty mode, recruiting more pitches. The ability to take your road to glory player and transfer him to either Madden or into a Dynasty as that player becomes a coach. more in depth news tab in college football Dynasty/road to glory. Use ESPN like you could through Madden. Create a player (for off-line rosters) create a play (for off-line and Dynasty only) Built-in create a team🏈 CFB 27 DYNASTY LEAGUES - RECRUITING NOW (Season 1)

Just a few things I’ve noticed now that my online leagues have started. First, when you create the league all the cpu teams spend some of the dynasty points which is causing everyone except the league creator to start year 1 with less points than they should have. Not that serious but sucks especially for the smaller schools. Next the 3-4 zone pressure playbook is bugged. When you set it as your defense under scheme it rests to multiple and you aren’t able to do formation subs for the defense you want to run. Again not a huge deal but wanted to bring it to the light if no one else has. Another thing I’ve noticed is recruits will hard commit to a school with no scholarship offer. Then when the next season starts they’ll be on your roster if you were their top or only team to offer a scholarship. Overall I’m enjoying this year’s game I think it’s much improved from 26 and I’m hoping some of the minor bugs will get patched without breaking things that are already working great lol.11Views0likes0CommentsEA FIX THIS GAME
EAi I am tired of losing to low level teams. I like simulating games of low level teams. Never had any issues in 25 and 26. Now in 27 my 99 ovr 5 star team cant beat an 85 ovr team WTF. Fix this. Ive been playing CFB since day one that is 2002. This will be my last game if you do not fix this and many other bugs your developers have put in the game. The microtransactions weren't an issue for me if you had left the coach progression sliders in. Some of us dont want an extremely hard game are even an impossible game. Fix it put everything 26 had in it and move on. I dont want to play for 30 season and still not have my coach at level 100. I have adjusted alot of setting recommended online to get my receivers to become open in varsity mode but for some reason the defense flys like magic 10 yards away to intercept or even worse they actually run the route better then the receivers. Fix it or im done with CFB. What a waste of time and money. Oh to top it off fix recruiting. I have had numerous hard committs all season and the last game of the season now i dont meet there deal breaker, i cant cut them they stay on my board and use my NILGAME BREAKING GLITCH RUINING NIL AND RECRUITING FOR DYNASTY TEAMS
Last night we advanced to week 0 of an online dynasty league I play in. Was going through my recruiting board offering NIL and putting hours on my players sorting by positions. Had 5 recruiting hours left for one last offer, while I’m hovering over FS to switch to SS instantly all the SS on my board disappeared. I continued to search and found the same result that all my other positions besides my initial FS I was hovering over were now all off my recruiting board with the NIL and recruiting hours not refunding to me. We just advanced to week 1 today and I see the hours are now all back but the previous 2000+ NIL I offered the players that disappeared off my board is still showing as “spent” inside my manage blueprint (screenshot below). This has been a glitch going on since CFB 25 but it essentially only set you back 1 week of recruiting since the hours always came back the next week. With the addition of NIL and how crucial a factor it plays in your schools success this year teams like mine cannot afford to have 2000+ NIL disappear that they cannot use. Has anyone in any online/offline dynasties dealt with this same problem and if so are there any solutions to get the missing NIL points back?? This is truly GAME BREAKING and I have not seen much talk around it, any help/knowledge about this issue is much appreciated.45Views1like2CommentsRecruits going to draft but still taking NIL money regardless
at the end of the year when you manage the NIL for the upcoming year, there would be players that are declaring for the draft but asking for NIL. so i would spend lots of the money to retain them, just for them to get drafted anyways & the NIL that i spent on them, gone as well... this is a ridiculous bug. trying to rebuild a small school with limited resources then being finessed by a bug is crazy. if yall would fix the screen at the time of negotiations & let it be known that they're going to declare for the draft instead of it saying they may be leaving due to a dealbreaker would actually make sense.. its like we're forced to guess & more times than not, we're wrong. then money just disappears.. fix the game man. please.128Views0likes6CommentsNew idea for Dynasty Mode for CFB 28
I have an idea that I think could make recruiting more immersive. Add a new coaching position called a Scouting Coordinator. This coach would have a separate pool of weekly scouting hours that is independent of recruiting hours and refills every week. Personally, I don’t enjoy spending a lot of time spending recruiting hours scouting every prospect after week 0, so this would let players invest in scouting without taking away from recruiting actions. The number of scouting hours could scale based on your school’s prestige (or NIL level). For example: A Prestige: 50 scouting hours per week (enough to scout another couple player) B Prestige: 40 hours C Prestige: 20 hours D Prestige: 10 hours F Prestige: 0 hours This would create another meaningful team-building decision. Bigger programs would have better scouting resources, while smaller schools would still need to be more selective with the information they gather. It would also make recruiting feel more realistic, since real college football programs have dedicated staff focused on evaluating talent.7Views0likes0CommentsLock in on Hard Commit or Allow incoming Freshmen to be cut.
I hate it when I have a recruit on Hard Commit and then they decommit in week 6-12 due to playing style dealbreaker and their recruiting starts all over again with User team ranked 6th-10th, (if they were already in top 5 we get automatically locked out). Have a Hard Commit count as a guaranteed signing, it hurts my future when a player is banked on being on the team, so i can stop recruiting for that position and they end up flipping from hard commit due to a dealbreaker and going elsewhere, cause a waste of hours on that recruit. It would help to allow fresh recruits to be transferred out after signing day in the offseason that they are signed. You're forcing us over recruit just in case and not allowing use to cut the spares until the next offseason, True Freshman do transfer out if an incoming Transfer comes in and the position they are in looks completely different after the Portal signings, so allow us to Encourage Transfers for True Freshman.23Views2likes1Comment
