Plant Sim: No option to absorb solar energy
I'm trying the plant-a-sim quest for the first time, and my plant Sims (I tried with 2) don't have the option to absorb solar energy from plants. I've tried on many different plants at different times of day, but they don't have the button for the interaction. At first I thought it was the genius trait on the first sim I tried, and that the "collect microscope sample" option was replacing it, but this is not the case, as tested by the other sim. I also tried removing all of my mods, and restarting the game(separately). I'm not sure what's causing the issue but I can't complete the quest without this interaction and can't find any record of anyone else having the same issue online. I built a hotel in the game and assigned a head chef to it. I set it up so the chef should be cooking, and the guests should just eat the meals. The issue is that the three separate interactions — Cook, Serve Food, and Eat — all trigger cooking. Because of this, a crowd gathers in the kitchen, and the chef can’t reach the counters to start cooking. I would like the Eat interaction not to involve cooking. It would also be great if serving food worked more like a service action. Or add a separate interaction for bringing prepared food. Everytime I play my sims hygiene needs will decrease within the hour, and when they go to shower or take a bath it doesn't do anything. When I turn off mods this also doesn't fix the bug. Additionally, there is random puddles that keep appearing without anything happening.Tenancy Trash Violation - no trash on lot
Keep getting trash violations in my rental, however there is no trash on the lot. All bins are emptied, there is nothing to be cleaned. No idea where the trash is. I had aging on and set to normal lifespan in my save before starting the scenario, so the twins’ birthdays happened before I could complete the child aspirations. They then force aged up to teens and now the aspirations are different and I’ve been kind of stuck. Any ideas how I can finish the scenario?
Connections Reward Trait disables promoting correctly
When you buy the connections reward trait for your sim, therefore, starting a career at level 4, when you get promoted for the first time, it says you are at level 5 for the career; however, it has you choose a branch of the career (which normally happens around level 7 of careers). Furthermore, when you promote again, you just get a raise and do not raise level in the career. In this example, instead of being promoted to project manager (level 5 tech guru), Nova was forced to choose a branch of tech guru. I chose Start up Entrepreneur. The next time her performance bar maxed, she did not promote, staying at level 5 of the career and then earning a raise. Subsequently, each time she "promotes" her level 5 career adds four levels. In the last screen shot she has gotten a raise twice, so it says she's Next Big Thing +8 (because it always does multiples of 4). I have no custom content. I have 39 DLCs, mostly kits and stuff packs, and several expansions. I noticed this bug after the July 1 base game update. The example screenshots are from a scenario, but it doesn't matter whether you are playing a scenario or not; connections always messes up the promoting mechanic. I've tried with several careers, and each time the sim promotes from level 4 to 5, the sim is forced to choose a branch of the career and then never gets to level 6 and instead just receives raises.
Can't travel with more than 1 or 2 Sims
When I select travel on the phone a window pops up so I could select up to 7 sims to travel with. However I can only select one. I am playing the scenario with the Martínez family. There is the optional task of traveling to the park with the kids. I wanted to take both kids to the park with the mother, but I could select only one. It does not matter which parent I am on. I can select only one sim to travel with. The others are not greyed out, they are available for selecting, but I can not select them if I already selected one. I play on windows, I have all packs and almost all kits. ( I do not have the last two). I do not have any mods or cc. Is anyone else having an issue where the game works perfectly but out of no where you're fairy will play in a fairy dust puddle then after that they'll just refuse to do any tasks like they'll stand there. I've reseted my sim and it happens over and over I even repaired my game can someone tell me what is causing this?!?!?
