High School Years Prom - Never Gold Tier Glitch
No matter what I do, and I HAVE tried. I always get Silver Tier. I cancel other actions, and b-line it for every objective - not even enjoying Prom, it never works when I do. Even if I'm casual about it, barely get Silver. If the ability to complete the needed requirements for Prom allowed an extra 30 seconds at least, there is a higher chance I could. Even with a Prom invite. Just wanted to get gold once. Once. Now it's become a post. Maybe also allow quicker cancellations of tasks and the object actions take precendence over all other queued actions for the active sim. Otherwise, no idea...
Game freezes when Moving in
After the latest update I have tried multiple times to have my sims marry or move in together and every time they start the interaction then freeze just before the action completes then the whole game needs to be force shut down this happens with and without any mods Edit By crinrict: Adjusted Title, merged threads.Sim needs a vacation after just being on vacation
my teen sim was just on vc for 4 days and than first went to a part time job, than needs a vc again after 1 hour at job? playing on pc, no mods(never had). sims 4 rent, sims 4 school, sims 4 jungle. Edit By crinrict: Adjusted Title to better reflect the issue
NPC’s keep pocketing objects / objects disappearing after
I noticed this happening since the beginning of July. In one situation, an unknown neighbor walked directly into the home on a brand new save without a greeting or invite and pocketed the embroidery box. A cheat was used to add the sim who picked up the object to the household with the idea that this sim would obviously still have the object in their pocket, but their inventory was empty. Did not check for kleptomaniac traits. Another several instances of missing appliances (like a pizza oven, candy maker, tea kettles; anything sims can now pick up and players can click and drag in live mode). Decorations with the same capabilities, skill items like easels, and even the outdoor sales table. Random sims just keep pocketing them and it goes completely missing from their inventory (and the household inventory, which I assumed would be with them after I added them to the household). I’ve caught several sims in the act of doing this, but most of the time I don’t even notice until later. It even happened with the butler pocketing stuff autonomously! I’ve bought 3 pizza ovens and I give up! The most recent offender was just now with another random townie (this one at least, a friend) grabbing a decorative jar and a zen garden off the mantle of the fireplace. She was added to household to check for the kleptomaniac trait (which she didn’t have) and the object, once again, completely disappeared from the game :( Also, the eco-lifestyle neighborhood action plans are turned off for my game. “Sharing is caring” is not enacted and there should be no influence from any action plans regardless. This has taken place in a multitude of circumstances and seems to be a bug that is not exclusive to a certain lot or world. It has happened with mainly new saves (creations since mid-June) but I also haven’t played many old saves recently to check if it’s happening there. Definitely seems like a bug on behalf of the neighbors. Almost forgot to mention there are no interactions available to confront the neighbor with the autonomous sticky fingers or to ask for the objects back. They literally seem to just disappear from existence. At best, an annoyance, but at worst, this has potential to ruin an in-game collection if the objects are not locked in a place that NPC’s can’t access. I do typically use MCC, but had a solid week of play without any mods after the most recent large update, and the problem persisted.Plant Sim: No option to absorb solar energy
I'm trying the plant-a-sim quest for the first time, and my plant Sims (I tried with 2) don't have the option to absorb solar energy from plants. I've tried on many different plants at different times of day, but they don't have the button for the interaction. At first I thought it was the genius trait on the first sim I tried, and that the "collect microscope sample" option was replacing it, but this is not the case, as tested by the other sim. I also tried removing all of my mods, and restarting the game(separately). I'm not sure what's causing the issue but I can't complete the quest without this interaction and can't find any record of anyone else having the same issue online. Not sure what happened but one minute I noticed the two detectives on the left stuck in the cell and before end of shift, now my character is stuck in the cell with no way out. In the middle of a scenario (Extraterrestrial) so can't teleport either......Going to see if the Sim gets to go home at the end of shift and if still an issue the next day at work and start off in the cell. Family tree reassigned family connection. In my game I had Cordelia Thebe V have a secret baby with Fia Acosta (made Fia capable of impregnating sims). The scandal was revealed and Cordelia still has the exposed scandal moodlet but, in the family tree the child is now the son of Thiago and Fia. Cordelia’s relationship with the child is locked as household member in CAS so I can’t change her to be the mother. Edit By crinrict: Added Tag to Title, Adjusted Title
Plantsim scenario crash
Yesterday I wanted to try out the plantsim scenario. Made the sim, chose a lot to play on and made them eat the forbidden fruit. After about 10 minutes off play time the game crashes and shuts off. No code just nothing. I try again I get about 30 minutes of playtime thinking it was just a one off. Nope shut down again. No code or anything just not responding and then shutting down.
