Not getting promoted but fulfilled all requirements
Hi all, I have a sim who is currently level 7 in the Reaper career and for about a week she's had the progress bar completely maxed out and has fulfilled the requirement for promotion (reach lvl 5 thanatology). However she never gets a promotion and not even raises, it just stays sitting there. I make sure she completes all the tasks at work when actually playing the career (more than what is required) in the hopes that that would work, and she always meets her soul quotas. I've also of course tried relaunching the game a few times but to no avail. Is anyone else having this issue, and/or does anyone know any tricks to solve or do I just have to wait for another update and pray it gets solved :( If it helps at all, I have no CC or mods and my pack list is below: Toddler Stuff Spooky Stuff Life & Death Parenthood Nifty Knitting Stuff My First Pet Stuff Kids Room Stuff Island Living Holiday Celebration Pack Get to Work Cool Kitchen Stuff Dine Out City Living Cats & Dogs Backyard Stuff
My SIM has no home lot and location is "Secret"
Please help! :( My SIM purchased a residential rental (a home I placed in Newcrest) - I noticed that when I re-started the game, it was not showing as my sims HOME lot, even though I purchased it, sold the old property she lived in, and moved my sim in. My Sim also owns a strip club in San Myshuno, and this is the lot that I have to choose in order to play as my chosen Sim. I recently changed the lot type of the rental, to Residential (while my sim was on the lot), and the game just started to endlessly load after going back to Manage Worlds. I had the option to end task in-game and did that. No Last Exception errors - I opened the game again today and go through the same process to play as my chosen sim. When I click the rental lot turned residential, I get the option to create a sim to move in (not play as my chosen Sim), and when I click the strip club, and click through to right before you press play to go live, it shows my Sim location as "Secret". If I actually click to go live it goes back into the Rabbit hole load. Her Plumbob is not green on the strip club lot (because it's not home), but it's not showing at all where she lives either! How can I fix this? How do I get her out of the secret location? Addons: EP1, EP3, EP15, GP02, GP03, SP03, SP0 and only mods able to be used for/with those packs. Sims keep dropping trash on the floor
My Sims will not throw trash away in the trash can off of the floor (they pick it up; walk a couple of steps and put it back down on the floor) even after being instructed to throw it away on Sims 4. This issue is highly annoying! Please fix this in the nearest future without something else becoming buggy in the process. Thanks so much in advance; it will be greatly appreciated. I'm trying the plant-a-sim quest for the first time, and my plant Sims (I tried with 2) don't have the option to absorb solar energy from plants. I've tried on many different plants at different times of day, but they don't have the button for the interaction. At first I thought it was the genius trait on the first sim I tried, and that the "collect microscope sample" option was replacing it, but this is not the case, as tested by the other sim. I also tried removing all of my mods, and restarting the game(separately). I'm not sure what's causing the issue but I can't complete the quest without this interaction and can't find any record of anyone else having the same issue online. During this scenario, when you need to be promoted to level 5 of the Tech Guru Career, it automatically skips to level 6. This means you can't complete the scenario step/goal to move forward with the story. I tried to use "testingcheats true" and then "careers.demote TechGuru" but it just automatically fires you, you can't be at level 5, which renders the scenario impossible to complete. Hello! I've been experienceing this issue every time I get on(even after reseting my Ps4) and it's bothering me... My game button for Managing Worlds(I think going into live and build mode still works), the store, and the help button in the top left during gameplay or building doesn't work. I also just found out that the save household button in CAS doesn't work either :/. Anyways, They are not pressable and have to go into the settings area to get to the place I wanna go. Why have buttons that don't work? Please fix this! P. S. Please fix your packs! I would love to buy most packs but lots of them are broken and this should be your main priority! UI Exception 1069: UI Corruption while playing Scenario
I recently encountered an issue with UI disappearing after loading from any screen to LIve Mode. So far, I have encountered this when taking a photo, leaving Build Mode, and loading a lot from traveling. Some things to note: I play on PC and own every piece of DLC. My game is updated to the recent version. This is a fresh install of The Sims 4. I even deleted the game file in which Mods, Screenshots, Saves, etc. are held. The only thing I kept were tray files and accountDataDB.package. I have already repaired my game. I have tested this in several ways. I can only replicate the bug in a household currently in a Scenario. I can even play a household in the same save as a Scenario household and it seems to be unaffected. When this bug occurs, I have to refresh the game. Occasionally, I can exit to the main menu and it will be fine. Other times, exiting to the main menu causes a black screen and I have to force close the game. I would say this bug occurs 25%-50% of the time. i started and finished the family fortune scenario after I've been playing one of my households for a while and when i went to go back to that household after the scenario it wasn't among my households at all and i don't know how to recover it. i went to my saves folder and the slots only go up to the date of the household before the one that disappeared. i also noticed that the only slot number missing was 5. I'm at a loss. is there any way to recover the household?
