Stuck In Their Shadow: Promotion skips to Level 6
During this scenario, when you need to be promoted to level 5 of the Tech Guru Career, it automatically skips to level 6. This means you can't complete the scenario step/goal to move forward with the story. I tried to use "testingcheats true" and then "careers.demote TechGuru" but it just automatically fires you, you can't be at level 5, which renders the scenario impossible to complete. Plant Sim: No option to absorb solar energy
I'm trying the plant-a-sim quest for the first time, and my plant Sims (I tried with 2) don't have the option to absorb solar energy from plants. I've tried on many different plants at different times of day, but they don't have the button for the interaction. At first I thought it was the genius trait on the first sim I tried, and that the "collect microscope sample" option was replacing it, but this is not the case, as tested by the other sim. I also tried removing all of my mods, and restarting the game(separately). I'm not sure what's causing the issue but I can't complete the quest without this interaction and can't find any record of anyone else having the same issue online. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title
Not getting promoted but fulfilled all requirements
Hi all, I have a sim who is currently level 7 in the Reaper career and for about a week she's had the progress bar completely maxed out and has fulfilled the requirement for promotion (reach lvl 5 thanatology). However she never gets a promotion and not even raises, it just stays sitting there. I make sure she completes all the tasks at work when actually playing the career (more than what is required) in the hopes that that would work, and she always meets her soul quotas. I've also of course tried relaunching the game a few times but to no avail. Is anyone else having this issue, and/or does anyone know any tricks to solve or do I just have to wait for another update and pray it gets solved :( If it helps at all, I have no CC or mods and my pack list is below: Toddler Stuff Spooky Stuff Life & Death Parenthood Nifty Knitting Stuff My First Pet Stuff Kids Room Stuff Island Living Holiday Celebration Pack Get to Work Cool Kitchen Stuff Dine Out City Living Cats & Dogs Backyard Stuff
Tried for Another Baby…
This appears to be the end of the Parenting Predicaments Scenario. It's obtained when the last step, "Try for a Baby," is completed. But you also get this if something goes wrong, including, most notably, if one or both parents die. The parents don't need to Woohoo (much less Try for a Baby) to get this outcome. You also get this outcome if one of the parents tries to have a baby with a different Sim. The text at the end of this scenario says that Jennifer is pregnant (not necessarily) and with twins (which doesn't happen). Neither of these statements is accurate or true.
Lovestruck game bugs
My sim is having issues with going to work, i instruct them to go to work and they immediately comes back with "Are you sure you want to miss out on work". Or just simply going and immediately returning with $2 pay check for the day and the option to 'go to work' is then remove. Have tried with 3 different jobsMy SIM has no home lot and location is "Secret"
Please help! :( My SIM purchased a residential rental (a home I placed in Newcrest) - I noticed that when I re-started the game, it was not showing as my sims HOME lot, even though I purchased it, sold the old property she lived in, and moved my sim in. My Sim also owns a strip club in San Myshuno, and this is the lot that I have to choose in order to play as my chosen Sim. I recently changed the lot type of the rental, to Residential (while my sim was on the lot), and the game just started to endlessly load after going back to Manage Worlds. I had the option to end task in-game and did that. No Last Exception errors - I opened the game again today and go through the same process to play as my chosen sim. When I click the rental lot turned residential, I get the option to create a sim to move in (not play as my chosen Sim), and when I click the strip club, and click through to right before you press play to go live, it shows my Sim location as "Secret". If I actually click to go live it goes back into the Rabbit hole load. Her Plumbob is not green on the strip club lot (because it's not home), but it's not showing at all where she lives either! How can I fix this? How do I get her out of the secret location? Addons: EP1, EP3, EP15, GP02, GP03, SP03, SP0 and only mods able to be used for/with those packs. Sims keep dropping trash on the floor
My Sims will not throw trash away in the trash can off of the floor (they pick it up; walk a couple of steps and put it back down on the floor) even after being instructed to throw it away on Sims 4. This issue is highly annoying! Please fix this in the nearest future without something else becoming buggy in the process. Thanks so much in advance; it will be greatly appreciated.
