How to uninstall Origin on windows 8.1
PC specifications: Desktop OS: Windows 8.1 Hard disks: Local Disk (C:) New Volume (E:) Processor: intel i7-4820K CPU @ 3.70 Ghz RAM: 16GB x64 based processor Graphics card: MSI Nvidia GTX 1660 Super Not sure is this the right place to ask, I haven't tried starting Origin on my Windows 8.1 PC since Origin for Windows was discontinued in October 2022. I have only one game that I purchased and installed using Origin (Star Wars Battlefront II (2017)). I need to uninstall Origin and Star Wars Battlefront II on this PC to free up disk space. If it is not possible to log in to Origin anymore to view your games library, would clicking "OriginUninstall.exe" under New Volume (E:) > Program Files (x86) > Origin uninstall the Origin client together with Star Wars Battlefront II as well or does star wars need to be uninstalled separately before uninstalling the Origin client? If they need to be uninstalled separately: -How do I uninstall Star Wars Battlefront II without launching Origin? -Do I need to uninstall Star Wars Battlefront II first or uninstall the Origin client first?8Views0likes0CommentsEA are liars. Should have known they would play dirty for their BS ea app.
Origin is down and my game library has been deleted. We were clearly told it would shut down on April 17, 2025, but on April 6, 2025, my game library has been deleted. Y'all are liars and I hope you burn in hell.102Views1like2Commentsea app causes system to freeze completely
i can say that i have reinstalled the system at least 20 times for 2-3 weeks and almost destroyed my 2 weeks old device by hand. finally i discovered the problem and it seems to be caused by the amd driver somehow crashing because of anticheat. what can i do about it? Problem: when I start a game in the app (battlefield series 1 and 5) or when shutting down the system after playing mostly high graphics games for a long time, the screen hangs at the last moment and the system hangs without reacting to anything (only after pressing the power key for 10 sec)53Views0likes3CommentsEa App still keeps crashing when laughing the Sims 4
To this day, the EA App is still crashing, even with getting updates. Every time I launch it, it crashes, I tried clearing the cache, still crashes, I tried opening games a different way, still crashes, I tried to let it sit for a while, still crashes, ran it as a administrator, still keeps crashing, I even disabled some EA App features and went offline, and if it crashes again, I don't know what to do And when I tried to get something from the gallery in The Sims, it would keep having the stubborn issue, forcing me to go offline and online again. This issue has been ongoing and I am scared to try out the new upcoming feature in the next TS4 expansion packApp instantly crashes after opening
basically the title of the post. After I try to open the app, it just crashes every time and shows me the attached error. I have try re-downloading it, repairing it, starting my computer in safe mode etc. Nothing seems to fix it. I would like to be able to play the games I have purchased.
