Split Fiction - Unable to Launch Game on Steam
After clicking the Play button for Split Fiction on Steam, it will prepare to launch for play then stop and the button will revert back as Play. The game never came up and it has worked before. My laptop meets the system requirements for the game. I’ve tried following instructions online to set the graphic card for the game and make some modifications to game properties on steam and none worked.Split fiction bug
We have killed the boss and then went up the ladder. Then jumped back to the platform and ended up dying on the conveyor belt. Then I spawn on the conveyor belt and die instantly, again spawn on the conveyor belt and die in loop. Can’t play further. I attached video recreating the situation with the second player.Mindboggling issue letting my 10 year old use friends pass
I bought this game to play with my son - he is 10. He has a PS child account which is restricted to teen. When starting the friends pass he can't get past the logging into EA. Because even though he now has an EA child account I can't link his PS account to his EA account. He has an independent PS subscription meaning that it is not shared with me. It is absolutely absurd. Playing the beginning of Split Fiction on the Switch 2 - love it, and I'm so glad it was a launch day port. Waited to play it see if it came to the platform and sure enough! The crossplay can't be overstated enough, either. I have one question/request, though - I've noticed while playing docked on the TV that the framerate is 30fps. When I undocked it to play portably, however, I realized the game was running much smoother! I'm not sure if it's at 40fps or just generally unlocked and running between 30-60, but it feels great, whichever it is. Would it be possible to offer the option to unlock the framerate while playing docked on the TV? The smoother/higher framerate in handheld mode feels great, and I'd love to have the option to allow for that in docked mode, too. (Even if the option is only for a 40fps performance mode, that would be awesome - I have a 120hz TV that is capable of it and would love it.) Thank you! (One extra note - I noticed a video review mention that while docked, certain sequences seem to run higher than 30fps, and then the game will revert back to a 30fps lock afterward. I'm not sure what's going on with that, but if it could be unlocked throughout, that would be awesome!)
Split Fiction: audio is extremely quiet
the only sound that's audible in this game is the opening advertisement showing the EA/Unreal/etc logos. everything after that is quiet, despite my volume sliders all being at 10. my computer volume is quiet high as well. some other odd things I've noticed: 3D audio is enabled with no way to disable it (no idea what that is), I can't enable streamer mode (not that I'd want to, but in other games I'm free to enable/disable streamer mode as I wish), and the volume dynamic range is set to cinematic with no way to change that either.The game won't launch
I've bought the game from Steam, but when I try to launch the game, it starts to launch and then crashes. I don't have any error messages or something, the game just doesn't launch. I've tried a lot of troubleshooting online and in the help center, but nothing worked. I've added a short video that shows the problem and a crash file I have.Split fiction error code 108-0
I started playing split fiction with my girlfriend and everything was working fine for the first couple times we played. I play on PC through steam and she plays on xbox. She owns the game and I use the friends pass to play with her. suddenly one day when I'm trying to join It just keeps saying "player has left the session, error code 108-0" We've tried absolutely everything to fix this over the past couple months. It's a glitch that hasn't been resolved for months now. It's ridiculous. the ONLY solution I found on the internet was to "unlink and re-link EA account, which isn't even possible for me since I did that recently and you can only do it every 6 months or something. No way to contact live support to get help. Believe me when I say i've tried EVERYTHING. The only thing I can't try is the un linking and re linking ea because I can't. It's RIDICULOUS. Does anyone know of any other fixes or how to even contact some type of support? Seeing as you can only submit a ticket for "certain" topics and the friends pass isn't involved in that so I'm just screwed, me and my gf can never play it again? i bought the game and i already played half of the game with my friend. One day i opened the game and it says to me purchase the game which i cannot buy. Playstation store doesnt let me buy because i already own. so circle continues. i can only play demo mod now. what should i do? i delete and dowlanded again.
