Vibrations turning off on controller
Randomly in online races, usually when someone in the lobby is lagging, all vibrations either reduce to a low setting or completely stop on PS5 and it makes the car extremely difficult to drive. A quick fix is to pause and un-pause the game, bringing back vibrations momentarily until they break again, usually within a lap. An easy fix would be to make vibrations client side if possible to avoid lag breaking them. This has been happening for the whole of F1 25, but since the 2026 DLC released it seems to have gotten worse. As far as I know this only affects PS5.Breakthrough Returns to Main Menu After Match Found
There is a serious issue with breakthrough on PS5, Xbox and PC. I and others have been unable to connect to a game of breakthrough (offical server) on the main menu. It finds a game, counts down, fades to black and then eventually returns you to the main menu. For me all other game modes work without issue, but others have reported the same bug with conquest. There are two other posts on this forum with the same issue and a post on Reddit where others are stating they're experiencing the same issue as well. I've tested and confirmed the issue on my PS5 (local install & streaming) and Xbox Series X consoles, both with two different accounts and tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Please can this be looked in to as a matter of urgency. (I literally only play breakthrough) (cm edit updated title for vis)SolvedEA Anti Cheat / game crash
For a few weeks now I have had trouble joining or being kicked from BF5. Firstly started with joining game from my Nvidia app, then Steam had issues so I could only join BF5 from EA app. Then after a while I started getting kicked from game. I would join a server on multiplayer and within a minute or so it would crash and take me straight back to Desktop. I tried EA app recovery, integrity of files on Steam and multiple reinstalls - nothing worked. I have also searched and tried umpteen fixes from these Forums and YouTube videos and finally put in a ticket at Nvidia because I thought the problem originated there in beginning. After many to and fro and dxdiag files etc One fixed they said to try was with Easy Anti-cheat. So I deleted it and reinstalled manually ( as recommeded by EA ) and for 1 day everything worked normal. Lauched game from Nvidia app and played fine. But as soon as I shut down my PC and boot up to play the next day, same old problem. I checked Windows secure boot and it is enabled and have just done a Windows Fix. Again problem still here. Has anyone had the same issues ? Or know of a fix ? I really don't understand EA Anti cheat. I read about multiple players having issues across all sorts of games yet every game I play on BF6, BF5, HLL etc I still come across cheaters and hackers. So whats the point in the program ? UPDATE: I managed to get a normal crash rather than a full system freeze. Go on registry editor, at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers and make sure TdrLevel registry key is set to Decimal 3. If there is no "TdrLevel" create a new DWORD value, set Decimal and set to 3. Then restart your PC. My crash message looks like this now: DirectX Error DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG. GPU: "", Driver: "25.5.1 (25.10.01.09-250425a-415182C-AMD-Software-Adrenalin-Edition)". This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers. Also, make sure you have a supported graphics card with at least 1024 MB of VRAM. This doesn't solve the issue since the game is still causing crashes but at least it solves the hard freeze. By opening Event Viewer I can see more info about the crashes: Faulting application name: bf1.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x67924d43 Faulting module name: bf1.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x67924d43 Exception code: 0x80000003 Fault offset: 0x00000000002eaedd Faulting process id: 0x0x4B20 Faulting application start time: 0x0x1DBCF6301395123 Faulting application path: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Battlefield 1\bf1.exe Faulting module path: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Battlefield 1\bf1.exe Report Id: 06c26cb6-f765-4768-a57c-b442d5ae6366 Faulting application name: EADesktop.exe, version: 13.468.0.5981, time stamp: 0x6827adff Faulting module name: libGLESv2.dll, version: 2.1.19909.0, time stamp: 0x63ced377 Exception code: 0xc0000409 Fault offset: 0x00000000004b7c55 Faulting process id: 0x0x17A8 Faulting application start time: 0x0x1DBCF62F3565FC5 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\EADesktop.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\libGLESv2.dll Report Id: f554f8e7-f1e1-48c4-8a62-97e481b7dd00 Faulting application name: bf1.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x67924d43 Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 10.0.22621.5331, time stamp: 0xe44cbdc8 Exception code: 0x887a0006 Fault offset: 0x00000000000601dc Faulting process id: 0x0x7364 Faulting application start time: 0x0x1DBCF6504D7C504 Faulting application path: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Battlefield 1\bf1.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\System32\KERNELBASE.dll Report Id: 330ebf06-1e99-453a-8e99-b0fe46728003 These were generated from 2 different crashes, first 2 errors on one crash, the second on another crash. Last crash it seems kernelbase.dll crashed bf1, which still suggests the anti-cheat is at fault here. Below you have the original post with the previous edits: I am experiencing this issue on BF1. As far as I've seen across the forums, the same anti cheat system was installed on BF V as well, and plenty of similar posts across the forums for both of the games. It has to do with the new anti-cheat system. I've played for 200 hours (stopped a few months ago, before the new anti-cheat update) and when I started playing again yesterday I can get in a game, and within a few minutes to a few dozen minutes the game will literally freeze (audio continues to work for a while), i can move my mouse around on the frozen bf1 game but I am unable to do any command (alt+tab, ctrl+alt+delete, windows+tab, ctrl+shift+win+b, alt+f4 etc), literally nothing. After a little while my mouse stops working too , audio cuts off and my PC is left in a frozen state, on the last frame of the battlefield game right before the freeze. This has to do with the crap anti cheat system that works at a kernel level. Perhaps it has to do with certain CPU architectures and it not being optimized for all. My system specs are: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X AMD 7900 XTX G.Skill 64 GB RAM 6000Mhz BF1 is the only game that does this. I've also noticed I am having stutters in the game, especially the minutes before having a crash. I tried every type of fix like setting my power plan to balanced (popular fix online - doing this allowed my to have my longest session of like 20-30 minutes i think, but still crashed my PC), updating the anti cheat system from its tool .exe, removing the anti cheat files and verifying integrity on steam, trying to run on compatibility mode, running the CPU on one CCD, etc) and no luck. It's clearly the problem is from the new update and since the new update introduced a new anti cheat system and the crash seems to be a kernel-level type of crash since it requires a hard reset of the whole PC, I think we have the answer -> faulty anti cheat system, possibly on the ryzen architecture CPUs, mine being AM5. EA, I am tired of trying fixes and I will stop trying fixes since I have hard rebooted my PC at least 5 times trying to fix your faulty update. Get this sorted ASAP. EDIT: Based on the comments, it looks like there are plenty others with Intel PCs that have the same problems as well. It seems that it happens on both Intel and AMD CPUs as well as both NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. This enforces the idea that it is the anti-cheat that is causing the crash but it widens the search for the problem within the anti-cheat since it's no longer AM4/AM5 only. Harder for the devs, but at least we know it's not our PCs/drivers. The behavior seems to be a bit different depending on each case: some people have the same symptoms as me, others nearly the same but it ends with a BSOD, others have a freeze for a few seconds but PC recovers rather than crashing. EDIT 2: It seems that the anti-cheat is causing the GPU drivers to hard-crash at the kernel level therefore freezing the PC. Looks like it happens on a very different mix of platforms, different amd&intel&nvidia combos. If you have the same problem try stating what apps u have open as well, the ones running in the background too. Maybe it's an overlay issue or idk...5.5KViews11likes84CommentsImprove reconnection system in It Takes Two
Hello EA Support / Hazelight Team, There is a frustrating issue with the online co-op system. When one player experiences a brief internet dip, the entire session closes automatically for both players. To resume, we have to send and accept a new invitation every single time, which ruins the immersion. My Suggestion: Instead of kicking the player out instantly, please consider adding a "Retry / Reconnect" button. While a player is disconnecting, their character should just freeze in place until the connection is restored, allowing them to resume seamlessly without restarting the session or needing a new invite. This feature would vastly improve the experience for players with unstable connections. Thank you!T4Views0likes0CommentsBattlefield 1 Awful Performance In 2026 XD
Wassup people, can someone explain why is this game running worse and worse over time? Back in the day i could run it @ 160 fps on all maxed and 125% res scale. When javelin kicked in, i was unable to play due to freezes, stutters and stuff. Eventually the patches "fixed" that abomination of AC and my fps were playable (they never reached the numbers of the old days though). And now, like three weeks ago i get 60-80 fps all of a sudden for no reason whatsoever XDDDDDDDDDD. The gpu is running at 100% giving me these crappy numbers, when back then as i said i could play at 160. I tested PUBG and it works flawlessly at 120 (as expected, and it is way less optimised than this game). My pc specs can run the game without sweating (theyve been doing it for years, until javelin dropped, and screwed up everything). I ran DDU, installed older nvidia driver, updated nvidia driver, repaired the game like twice so far, reinstalled javelin 1239890128478 times, tweaked a lot of nvidia panel options, disabled all the overlays, ran the game with any other program open. MAX gpu hotspot was 75ºC, VRMs 63. Someone plaese tell me what the hell is going on with this current waste of space on my disc which is bf1. Thanks in advance [Edit: Title amended to remove caps - ElliotLH]Card Scramble - No Tasks Available
Ever since starting Chapter 4 I've been amassing stars (32 so far) but keep being told that there are no tasks available and I should just keep doing puzzles. There's no explanation for this - it doesn't say I need to pay for more tasks, for example. I've seen others complain of the same thing, while others again say they have no problem. What is going on? Will there ever be more tasks? I'm using a Chromebook, browser Chrome 148.0.7778.250Please fix the ground game
I’m sick of this ground game I enjoy stand and bang but when I play career of anything really other than that mode, I’m furious. I’m just holding a stick one direction or another in attempt to pray that my guy does it or the game lets me. Just make it a button tap or something idk, I’m tired of being slightly worse than the jujutsu guy and he has me on the ground for 3-5 rounds. (Yes I understand that this happens in real life but most of that is due to real exhaustion not my pimped out Islam in this game being tired)4Views0likes0Comments
