Checkpoints not working
I've done everything; uninstall third party anti-virus, the controlled folder access disable thing, disabling onedrive... I've been tackling with the settings and everything else for 3hrs and can't play the actual game and it's frustrating. There is nothing in the EA games file in the local disk. Its my first time playing a shooting game on PC and I was looking forward to it... can someone help me? I'm using a old laptop but the game itself runs smoothly. Today i've verified the integrity of game files from Steam. This is giving me a headache. I really wanted to play this game...
When I log into Titanfall 2 on my Xbox, the main menu screen freezes.
Hey, so for the last 2 days I’ve been trying to fix this issue on my own and nothing has worked. Whenever I boot up Titanfall 2 on my Xbox (Series S) it loads in and right as I get to the main menu it freezes and doesn’t unfreeze. I’ve tried restarting my Xbox, resetting it, unplugging it, and even uninstalling the game. However, the issue still stands and it’s happened to not only me but also a friend of mine. I’ve tried playing on my PS5 and it works perfectly but on my Xbox it won’t load. Other games on my Xbox (Siege, Madden, Rust, etc.) load fine but Titanfall has been an issue. Is there any way to fix this?
Origin asks for a login even though I'm signed into the EA app
Why do I get a pop up from origin now when trying to start Titanfall 2 through steam or the EA app, asking me to login to my EA account to activate my game. I don't have origin installed, I tried reinstalling titanfall 2 and the ea app, nothing changed. I have 2000 hours in this game but this is all of a sudden popping up. God, I f cking hate the ea app.
My Titanfall 2 ran into a problem
When I play, whether in single-player or multiplayer mode, I encounter {Engine Error 0*887 A0006-DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG. The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application. This is a design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed.} My computer is capable of running this game, but after playing for a while, this error pops up and the game crashes. Sometimes, even after exiting, I can still hear the music. I can only play for up to 5 minutes at a time before it crashes.Can someone tell me what to do?(PC, Steam) TF2 Freezing PC randomly when connecting to servers or games
Hi, I'm pulling my hair out currently trying to get TF2 running on my PC Consistently. When I load into a multiplayer game (and rarely, the main menu) the game freezes my entire computer, locking my cursor and requiring a forced restart to get out of it. This appears to occur completely randomly, as I when I do get into a game I can run it at 144fps with no stuttering or issues, so I doubt it's a hardware issue. I've searched everywhere for fixes and so far I've tried all of the following to no avail: Verify integrity through Steam. Clear cache through EA. Ran the game in admin mode and compatibility mode (for both windows 7 and 8). Updated graphics drivers. Lowered graphics settings many times. Adjusted server (London, Frankfurt, etc.) for MP. Reinstalling the game to two different drives. Below are the specs for my PC: Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 5 225F 3.30 GHz 16gb RAM MAG B860 TOMAHAWK WIFI (MS-7E39) GeForce RTX 4060 I think it's something to do with my PC reaching the servers as the game seems to crash either when finding the data centres or joining a game. If I undo the fix found in this guide (https://medium.com/@nart70/titanfall-2-how-to-fix-connecting-to-respawn-servers-bug-1a6adfc4af4d) the game appears to run fine, however I can't find a data server, meaning I wouldn't be able to play MP regardless. Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!
Enable Developer Console/Scroll Wheel Jump Bugged
Anyone else have this issue where the Scroll Wheel Jump and the Developer Console don't work. Scroll wheel jump is bound but doesn't actually work in-game and the Developer Console enable/disable feature is no where to be found in-game. I had to resort to going into the config file to enable the console and rebind jump, but it still doesn't work. Any ideas? Seems like a ridiculous bug, the game used to work fine.EA App Titanfall 2 - Can't activate game
Hello, I installed Titanfall 2 via Steam. When I launched it, it installed the EA App, where I can see the game in my library. When I try to launch it, I'm redirected to a game activation page. I enter my EA credentials and get an error saying they're incorrect. However, I've tried multiple times, changed my password on the EA website (using the "Forgot Password" option), and I still get the same result. Even though it doesn't make sense, I tried creating a new account, but it tells me my computer isn't connected to the internet, which obviously isn't true. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and the EA App several times, tried running them as administrator, but nothing changes. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Thanks for your help.
