Logitech g923 resets to default Force Feedback
When im starting a race there is never a problem, i always play on the settings that i selected (see picture) and the FFB is fine. After any event (on track animation, track reset and other non FFB screens), the FFB resets to the default logitech g923 FFB strength. After finishing the race and starting a new one, it is back to the selected settings. Especially the curbs/rumblestrip effects are very annoying, since they make a lot of noise. Is there a fix, a workaround, or a setting that prevents the settings from resetting?Game not launching (not going past the anticheat window)
I bought the game on steam. Tried verifying the files, redownloading the game, closing antivirus, opening the game with admin, and a lot more. As I said in the title, the anticheat window pops up, loads for a bit, and then closes, not giving an error or anything, it just closes, and the game doesn't open.Mail tab not working
When i try opening the messages on the game nothing shows up. Im trying to get the mclaren silverstone livery but when i try opening the messages, nothing shows up (as shown in the image) and i get stuck in that screen, i can't back out as pressing B on my controller does nothing. I have already tried verifying the files and every time it says that 3 files failed to validate and will be re-downloaded, but that does nothing and i still can't open the messages. I have tried validating the files through steam 2 times and it always says the same thing.F1 25 co op broken (Workarounds)
Why cant i move passed the new driver ratings update with i accept the email and accept it in the co op career? It just bugs out and doesnt do anything and i can no longer play co op which is very frustrating. I have to close the game to even be able to get back to the main screen and play a different game mode. ___________________________________________ Hey folks - the team are still continuing to investigate this. However, there has been another pair of workarounds shared by some users. Their steps are as follows: Both players join their Two-Player Career session as usual One player (Player 1) stays on the Driver Ratings update screen in the Two-Player Career session The other player (Player 2) force-closes F1 25 and re-loads back into the game leaving Player 1 to stay on the Driver Ratings update screen Player 2 loads back into the game and applies the update via the in-game mail (top-right corner of the F1 25 main menu) Player 2 then joins the active Two-Player Career session that Player 1 is waiting in Player 2 should then be greeted with the regular Two-Player Career mode screen Player 1 then follows the same steps as Player 2 (close game, re-open, apply Driver Ratings from in-game Mail, join the active session), with Player 2 staying in the Two-Player Career session I understand this may be a little confusing but I hope this will get you back and playing soon. - James / CM_TGK Community and Creator Manager @ EA SPORTS / Codemasters ******************************************************************** Hey there, Thank you for all your reports and your patience on this topic. Pleased to confirm that our team has reproduced the bug and a hotfix patch will be made available early next week, addressing this problem for those still experiencing it. Ever since the beginning of the game, I, along with other pad players, have noticed that wheel players have a significant advantage. Initially, I observed a clear advantage in slow corners, where, due to their much faster and smoother movement, they are able to rotate the car more quickly and get back on the throttle much sooner. As for the pad, it has fluidity issues, since its inputs are jerky, no matter what steering or rotation speed is used. Moreover, the pad suffers from noticeable mid-corner understeer compared to the wheel: because of this understeer, pad players can’t rotate the car as quickly as wheel players. Additionally, since pad players rotate the car much more slowly, they can’t get on the throttle as early, which also affects traction. Because of slow corners alone, pad players lose around 3 tenths just in those sections. On top of that, a few weeks ago I noticed—thanks to a friend of mine and teammate in my esports team—that the pad has about 20% more tire degradation compared to the wheel during a race. Even today, while watching a race from the RRS competition, I saw my friend on mediums only manage 7 laps, while another wheel player managed to do 11 laps and won the race because of it. He even managed to get more laps out of the hard compound, while my teammate suffered a puncture despite doing fewer laps and managing almost every stint carefully. There doesn’t seem to be any way to fix the tire degradation issue while still staying competitive, nor does there appear to be a solution to reduce the understeer. I’m writing this long message to let the EA developers know that the pad situation needs to be improved. Many people are losing their patience with being at such a disadvantage compared to wheel players—and honestly, I’m one of them. I’m also very tired of this situation because both in F1 23, and especially in F1 24, I was one of the fastest pad players in the community, often beating wheel users who are now much quicker. Please, EA, fix these pad-related issues—they’re ruining a game that is otherwise clearly better than its predecessor.1.1KViews45likes42CommentsGames keep crashing on starting screen
I have bought the game, at full price, a couple month ago. I wanted to use it in VR, but the performance seemed low, so i started using it on my monitor. For a couple of weeks, everything worked fine, i played it for a couple hours and was generally pleased. That said, it's now been a month where i can't even start the game: i press play on steam, the F125 first loading screen starts, it finishes loading, and then closes. Then, the actual game opens, it gets to the first loading stage (i can see the screen with F1 and F2 copyright) and then crashes. No info, nothing. Not even a crash report window. i've spent the last two days trying to make it work, following every single guide i could find. Updated the drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, checking for file integrity, uninstalled Hardware settings, started it in different modes, rolling back nvdia drivers. I watched and followed a 1 hour long video with every single troubleshoot known. Nothing. I spent 70 euros on this, and i could only play it for 7 hours. It's unacceptable.Force Feedback Bug on Logitech G923
Platform: PC (Steam) Wheel: Logitech G923 Pedals: Thrustmaster TLCM OS: Windows 11 Every time I start a new race in F1 25—whether it's Grand Prix, Multiplayer, or Time Trial—Force Feedback does not work until I manually go into the control settings and reapply or change something. This happens consistently and makes it necessary to repeat this process before every single race. Steps to Reproduce: Launch F1 25 Start any race mode (e.g. Grand Prix, Multiplayer, or Time Trial) Begin the session without touching the settings Notice that Force Feedback is either completely off or feels wrong Go into the settings menu and adjust any control/FFB option or re-select your preset Return to the race—Force Feedback now functions correctly Expected Behaviour: Force Feedback should work automatically when starting any race, without needing to enter and adjust settings. Actual Behaviour: Force Feedback only activates properly after manually changing a control settings or reapplying the preset for each race session. Hardware Setup: Logitech G923 with TrueForce Thrustmaster TLCM pedals connected via USB All devices connected via wired USB Using latest version of Logitech G Hub What I've Tried: Verifying game files via Steam Updating Logitech G Hub Disabling TrueForce Reinstalling the game Issue persists in all race modes Extra Notes: This issue did not exist in F1 24. It seems the game does not properly initialize Force Feedback unless settings are manually refreshed. This adds unnecessary steps before each session and breaks immersion for wheel users.*Radio is not working at several tracks.
*Radio is not working at several tracks, preventing racing line from being shown to lead you into the box safely. *Career Mode Created Characters to be available for use in future F1 games giving players the option to continue their previous year's progressions, stats, records, ect. *Smaller racing line to be added to give the players a more immersive experience while still providing a guide for tracks and breaking points. *All previous special liveries used this F1 2025 season should be available for use in all game modes the same way the Chrome McLaren is available. This issue has persisted since 23 /24 and makes the game unplayable. When in game, there is a head tracking problem which gives the feeling of "wobbling", and it seems to be that the tracking is delayed or out of sync, causing stutter when moving your head. This causes instant sickness and makes it unplayable. I'm yet to find a post in the community with a fix and it seems to be a very common issue. My specs: 5700x3d 32GB Ram Nvidia 5070TI Quest 3 via SteamVR (Link cable and virtual desktop) running at 90hz Tried a wide range of settings, including dropping everything to the minimum.
