Deleting App
I see people say they deleted the app and reloaded it. When I started to do this, Apple phone says data will be deleted. I’m having the frequently reported skipping issue and wondering if this might help. No one seems to be discussing or commenting on any fixes to this issue. Do you lose your city when you do this? I don’t want to accidentally delete 2+ years of progress because EA keeps screwing up this game. Other than EA totally destroying the game, I enjoy playing it, but this skipping total ruins my enjoyment and is frustrating to me. It makes me do things I don’t want to do because of the skipping or pausing.
Game freezes every 45 seconds for 18 seconds
Gameplay is fine for 45 seconds and then there are 4 brief freezes during an 18 second period. This started when Mayor's Pass Super Services 3 began on February 18, 2026. This has been repeating non-stop 24 hours a day since the season started. I am playing on an iPhone 14 with iOS v18.7.3.Weekly cap bug
This week, 2-26-26, I've already met the weekly cap and just 12500 shy of hitting the next milestone for the monthly event. Which is 38 and the high tech police headquarters. And guess what, the weekly collections 2 includes the high tech police headquarters to complete it. With 5 days and 5 hours left in the weekly collections event it won't roll over to next Wednesday when we start the 3rd week of the "monthly" event. What gives developers? EA? Of course you don't have a direct way to contact you for support. And it's a maze through your knowledge base with AI misleading you every step of the way. I’ve got the same problem that multiple others are experiencing with the game crashing when trying to move or add a services building into the capital city. EA support said log it on here. Only happens in capital city. I can’t complete the services update until this is resolved as the game crashes all the time. So this has happened several times with items I created, but now it's happening when I buy items. They are not showing up in city storage. I purchased shoes from the global trade hq. I ended up buying simcash because I didn't have enough simeolians. The trade hq took my simcash and they weren't delivered to my city storage. Really EA? It's annoying when my factories create it and it doesn't show up, but when I use actual cash? Nah. This needs to be fixed.Train Bug
/Yesterday, my train tracks that run parallel to the mountains on my Capital city have been diverted into the mountains. I was able to delete these tracks but I cannot put the tracks back in the proper location without it doing the same thing. This is after I installed an update from the Google play store. Longtime player, dealt with multiple “bad updates” but I’m officially unable to play my main city due to pink pixel dots when I try to move anything. All my other cities are playable, however the main city, I cannot breakthrough. Before when this would happen, (freezing, black screens) I was able to restart and the problem went away, now it’s been multiple days and nothing has worked. Tried offloading, everything is up to date, zooming in, I’ve tried it all... I’m concerned because my main city will be destroyed once the grace period for redesigning services ends.. I can see multiple issues on this topic but how can we get some help??? This may be the end of gameplay if they cannot get this problem fixed. I would do anything if I couldn’t delete things. Lol send help!!!
