Two Player Qualifying Bug
When playing Two Player career mode, qualifying is bugged and your position in qualifying doesn’t translate to your grid position for the race. I DNFed from Q1 and ended up P7 for the race start in Shanghai. My friend got to Q3, qualified P2, and started P18. Same for sprint races as well.Starting Position Incorrect
During me and my cousin's two-player career mode, our starting positions for both the Sprint and Full Race at the Shanghai International Circuit were incorrect. During the Sprint Qualifying, I set 2nd, while my cousin set 16th (was in the bathroom lol). Come the sprint, I was sitting at P1 and he was P2. Now, for the Race Qualifier, I set P1, and my cousin set P6. Come race day, I was P15 and he was P19. I don't understand how this could even be possible, and it is very discouraging to try in Qualifying if this will keep happening. I am a little worried about continuing our career mode if this is a known thing and not resolved. If anyone else has experienced this and found a fix, please let me know. Otherwise, I hope this is an easy fix or track-specific and will be addressed soon.AI character strengths are illogical
The AI character strengths are like something from another universe! Tsunoda is on the podium every race... Verstappen wins every race... Norris and Piastri only finish 8th to 10th... Albon almost never makes the top 10... Sauber is always last, over 3 seconds behind per lap... Hadjar is barely better than 15th... Hamilton is always faster than Leclerc... etc. Has nothing to do with real F1 I hope there's an update on this and it's adjusted regularly. Not like F1 24, where there was NEVER an update on this.AI just turn in to player
The AI has no awareness to players. If you overtake on the inside, they just turn into you. The AI don't suffer from the collision they just drive through you and carry on, as if they are on rails. The AI need to have some awareness coded in. So if there is a car in their path, they act as a real driver would, and not just plough through you.
2 player career mode is absolutely broken
Me and a friend started playing a coop career mode and we just found that this **bleep** is full of bugs everywhere for everything. Starting with the loading screens. Its an absolutely garbage that the loading screens takes so extremely long to make into the lobby, sometimes it takes like x3 longer than what GTA V loading screens takes to load into an online session. Once we get into the race weekend it works almost normally, but the loading screens to go into the lobby, at least for the 2 player career mode, doesn't make any sense (not saying that also there's a possibility to fail to connect to EA servers after 5 minutes of loading the lobby). Then, we found that doing qualifying doesn't matter because the game will put you wherever it wants. When we were in the Chinese GP, we qualified for the sprint 15 (me, but I retired from Q2 with no time) and 16 (mate), but going into the sprint race we were starting 1st and 2nd for some reason (and nope, nodoby of the AI drivers got a penalty except for just 1 of them). Same happened for the main race qualifying, I qualified 10 and my teammate 17. We went to the race and we found that we were starting 16 and 20 (again, none of us got a penalty). In addition to this point, something similar happened in the 1st GP (Australia) but it wasn't that bad like what happened here in China or in the coming Japanese GP. But thats not the worst part. In this case, we were doing the Japanese GP (just the 3rd GP) and basically we can't continue doing our career mode because the game doesn't work anymore. I'll put a YT video at the bottom of this post so you can see everything what happened. When we had to do the race, in the formation lap, we found that my teammate was placed so far back in the track, he was placed at the finish line and not even in one of the grid boxes. Also, if you pay attention to our both POVs and the standings at the top left, from my POV you can see that I'm 10th and my teammate 12th, but from my teammate's POV he is 2nd and I'm 1st. We originally qualified 10 and he 13 (but he gained 1 pos because of a penalty). Not only happy with that, but also the AI never started moving, they all just remained still the whole time and never moved. Me and my teammate did the full formation lap to see if at least we can start the race, and not only it didn't solve anything, but also we weren't able to come back to our grid boxes, because when we reached the finish line we just got tp to the left side of the finish line, without any possibility to move or do something there, and the race never start. We went back to the main menu and loaded again into the 2p career mode, but we got the same bugs. This time my teammate was placed in 2nd instead of 12. But again, we can do the formation lap until the finish line, where we can't do anything from there and the race will never start. There's no option to skip or simulate the race or the weekend, so we are stucked at this point forever. Basically, we can't continue playing our career mode. Honeslty, It's incredible how it is possible to release a game in a such horrendous state and not even take care of it, I can understand (not 100%) that this can happen in the first days since release, but we are almost 1 year later... Co-op career desync and blocked: FIX URGENTLY!
Me (F1_gtFisichella) and my friend pippo100799 had recently started a co-op career with 16 races for the first season and last time we played until the 8th race at Silverstone. Today we login for starting the 9th race at Spa-Francorchamps, but we couldn't move forward because, since last time he logged out while in the silly season cutscene of midseason, it went back to his personal QG while i'm at the circuit on race weekend. The problem is that we can't advance to the sessions because he's stuck on QG and can't advance to the race weekend since in his interface there is no X button to advance (therefore, we can't race anymore). We tried everything from changing host to even expel my friend and inviting him back to career, but he still returns to QG without possibility to advance on race weekend. Looks like is a server problem since last time he logged out in the middle of cutscene while i went through all of it until the arrival on the track. Please fix it ASAP since we both want to continue the career since we're home for the holiday season. Thanks in advance
End of season crash 2p career
I was in a 2 player career mode at the end of season 3. We both signed a 2 year deals with different teams Redbull & Mclaren just before this. We advanced to end the season, clicked through the stats page and both of us crashed after advancing. There was no error message Just a straight crash We have tried to "Fix" this issue but nothing we have tried has worked We have no idea what caused this so how can we avoid this and finish a career? Is it the broken contracts like last years game?2player career greyed out, multiplayer features soft-lock game. Gamebreaking.
Hi I've seen on these forums and Reddit that a number of people are having the same issue. My friend and I tried making a 2 player career, however after our first session we logged back on and now my two-player career is greyed out? additionally, i'm unable to open ANY multiplayer feature or mailbox without it soft-locking my game. Even tried on my steam profile, same issue occurs. Reinstalling doesnt fix, deleting save data doesnt fix so it must be a server side issue? This is completely gamebreaking as i now can no longer play ANY multiplayer feature.
