Can’t connect to multiplayer sessions.
Unable to connect to anything when it is multiplayer, have checked my connection to make sure it is not me. When I try to join two player career with a friend and multiplayer Grand Prix it just loads for a long time and then says failed to join session. One of my friends is having the same problem so it’s not just me.
End of season crash 2p career
I was in a 2 player career mode at the end of season 3. We both signed a 2 year deals with different teams Redbull & Mclaren just before this. We advanced to end the season, clicked through the stats page and both of us crashed after advancing. There was no error message Just a straight crash We have tried to "Fix" this issue but nothing we have tried has worked We have no idea what caused this so how can we avoid this and finish a career? Is it the broken contracts like last years game?2player career greyed out, multiplayer features soft-lock game. Gamebreaking.
Hi I've seen on these forums and Reddit that a number of people are having the same issue. My friend and I tried making a 2 player career, however after our first session we logged back on and now my two-player career is greyed out? additionally, i'm unable to open ANY multiplayer feature or mailbox without it soft-locking my game. Even tried on my steam profile, same issue occurs. Reinstalling doesnt fix, deleting save data doesnt fix so it must be a server side issue? This is completely gamebreaking as i now can no longer play ANY multiplayer feature.Starting Position Incorrect
During me and my cousin's two-player career mode, our starting positions for both the Sprint and Full Race at the Shanghai International Circuit were incorrect. During the Sprint Qualifying, I set 2nd, while my cousin set 16th (was in the bathroom lol). Come the sprint, I was sitting at P1 and he was P2. Now, for the Race Qualifier, I set P1, and my cousin set P6. Come race day, I was P15 and he was P19. I don't understand how this could even be possible, and it is very discouraging to try in Qualifying if this will keep happening. I am a little worried about continuing our career mode if this is a known thing and not resolved. If anyone else has experienced this and found a fix, please let me know. Otherwise, I hope this is an easy fix or track-specific and will be addressed soon.
F1 24 Co-Op Qualifying Career Bug
Issue has been raised before by someone else (post found here), but with less detail. Figured I'd open another ticket with everything I can include. Issue: Random drivers will start with a lap advantage on everyone else, even if they qualified behind others. What all happened: Me and a friend started a Co-Op save file after the other party recently got the game. I used a custom character, other party used the existing driver, Yuki Tsunoda. We played into Practice 1, however my friend had the game crash and they had to reconnect in the middle of the session. We used quick practice for both P2 and P3. We used One-Shot Qualifying for the Qualifying session, and got I got P1 and the other party got P20. Into the race, I immediately noticed blue flags telling me to concede position and that the game was marking me as in P5. (Unfortunately, I do not have any footage of it in the moment. I do have the replay and exported session results though.) Client 1 (My Client): Client: Steam CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X GPU: Radeon RX 6750XT RAM: 32GB (DDR5-6000) Client 2 (Friend's Client, Also used to Create Save): Note: My Friend said that positions were updating very slowly for them, but I don't remember seeing anything similar on my end. Client: Steam (Recently Switched from a Game Pass Trial on EA) CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X GPU: RTX 4060 RAM: 32GB (DDR5-6000) I unfortunately do not have the report code of the session in question.
Two Player Career Crashing
I have tried multiple times to start a two player career with a friend but whenever we attempt to start the session my game crashes (just turns straight off, no error), his then gets stuck in an endless loading loop. After this my game is fine, however my friends seems locked out. Two Player Career is greyed out, his mailbox is full of messages that are eternally loading and he can't open and opening podium crash breaks everything.. This makes no sense. I should also add that for whatever reason he cannot see my username in the lobby. He has tried 3 different EA Accounts and the issue persists across all three.Two Player Qualifying Bug
When playing Two Player career mode, qualifying is bugged and your position in qualifying doesn’t translate to your grid position for the race. I DNFed from Q1 and ended up P7 for the race start in Shanghai. My friend got to Q3, qualified P2, and started P18. My friend and I are doing a full season 2 player career. Everything worked fine until we reached Imola. Practice and qualifying went perfectly, but when we got to the race, everything broke. At the starting grid cutscene, all the grid positions just showed zeros - no drivers, no names. Then, in the next cutscene that normally shows the grid, all we could see was the gray sky - no cars, no track, nothing. When the race finally loaded, the grid order was completely wrong. I had qualified first, but the actual grid had drivers grouped by teams - for example both McLarens in 3rd and 4th, both Ferraris in 5th and 6th, and so on. My friend wasn't even on the grid - he was placed in the middle of the track, right after the pit exit. Even though we had formation lap turned off, the game still forced to do one. Only the two of us could move - the AI cars stayed stuck on the starting grid. We couldn't return to our grid positions. Instead, we got teleported to the finish line, where we couldn't move, and the UI told us our grid stop was still 500-900 meters away (different number at the two of us). We waited for about 2 minutes, and then, somehow, the race started. We managed to drive maybe 500 meters before we got disconnected from the session. Every time we try to restart the race (even if we restart the game), the same bug happens. I've put 2 links as evidence below. My buddy and I are in a 2 player coop mode. We keep having issues when we get to the race. Some of the issues are as follows: 1) we get put into different spots from where we qualified, 2) when we start the warm up lap only we move on the grid and rest of the field is stationary, 3) one of us will be placed in the back of the field in the middle of the track, 4) one of us might be looking through the visor of the helmet and when we go to start the warm up lap they disappear from the screen. We have closed out of the game completely and keep running into the same issues. Some nights it will work fine after doing that but others it just keeps doing it over and over so we can’t play at all. This is only happening for the actual race as everything else works fine.
