F1 25 stuck on "Starting EA Javelin AntiCheat" - eaanticheat.sys never installs
I'm playing F1 25 through Steam. The game worked fine for about 9 hours yesterday. Now every launch gets stuck on "Starting EA Javelin AntiCheat" and never reaches the game. I have already: Reinstalled F1 25. Verified game files. Repaired and reinstalled EA Javelin AntiCheat multiple times. Cleared the EA App cache. Restarted Windows. Ran Steam and the installer as Administrator. Ran DISM successfully. Ran SFC successfully with no integrity violations. During troubleshooting I found: Event Viewer: EA Javelin AntiCheat Event ID 1000 ExitType 95 (267) The EA AntiCheat service exists. The registry points to: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\eaanticheat.sys However, that file does not exist. The EA Javelin installer detects F1 25 and reports "Installation successful", but the driver is never installed. The registry key exists under: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EAAntiCheat ImagePath is: system32\drivers\eaanticheat.sys DISM and SFC both completed successfully. Windows Code Integrity shows no driver blocks. pnputil does not show an EA AntiCheat driver package. C:\ProgramData\eaanticheat is created but contains no logs or crash dumps. Ok so I know the DLC has only been out for a week and you are planning a future updates. But the car performances in the new 2026 DLC are so unrealistic particularly from the Aston Martin who are getting into Q3, as well as Williams who in real life have an overweight car so they should not be challenging for podiums. And also most of all Mercedes who have dominated the season since the start as well as Antonelli who has gone on an insane 5 win streak surely this is not a fluke. Just wanted to get the word out as quickly as possibleUnrealistic Damage Sensitivity.
So when you hit another car or a wall at around 150 KPH on Simulation damage you hardly take damage. So for example your front wing hardly breaks. Your tyres stay intact nor do they get punctures. It is all to do with the sensitivity of simulation damage. So please increase the damage sensitivity for simulation damage a lot like you can do with mods, so it can be more realistic. I'm not asking for a whole damage rework because that would be impossible but please take it into consideration for future or the new game for 2027. But I remember it used to be a lot more sensitive back in older games like F1 2020 and that. i play alot of online multiplayer, but since monday i feel like the connection to the servers has gotten way worse, im not saying it has to do with the servers but any other game i play i have no issues. so i was asking if it has to do something with the update or the servers. i use a ps5 and i never had has issues in any other issuesBUG using [Custom Car Setup]
When playing F2 Career and changing the car's setup in any way BEFORE qualifying (manually in the car setup menu, by loading a setting, or on the track, for example, by adjusting the brake balance), we have MUCH more fuel in qualifying. If we skip practice or don't change the settings in practice, we have less fuel. In Monaco, we can have fuel for 15.8 laps (when changing the settings) or 6.9 laps (when not changing the settings, i.e., when using one of the 5 preset settings). For comparison, the AI has a fuel level of 3.5 laps. At different tracks, the fuel level in our car varies, but the AI always has the same 3.5 laps. This problem ONLY affects F2 QUALIFYING! (because in F1 we can adjust the fuel level). I noticed the same thing in F1 24! F1 23 also has this problem, but the difference is SMALLER when we change the settings in practice. To achieve better lap times, we need to change the car's settings, and if we do, we're penalized in qualifying (with a heavier car)! Similarly, if we try different settings in practice (or load them), we're penalized with a heavy car in qualifying! This makes the game difficult, especially in Monaco, where it's difficult to make up ground from the back of the grid. This requires a quick fix! Besides, the AI's fuel levels and ours should be equal in qualifying! Fix this in F1 25 and F1 24.Sporting, Technical ... Updates for 2026
Add a Hotlap mode in the rain. https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article/fias-wmsc-ratifies-f1-regulatory-changes-for-2027-and-2028.ACyRcPvBKo8LRiOleCSJU Of course, you should also add a Boost mode, but then you'd have to add an Overtake mode (available on a dry track). This is how it should be in the game in F1 2027.F1 25/26 crash
Since the 2026 season update, my F1 25 game crashes for no reason, whether I'm on the home screen, in the settings menu, in career mode, or on a track—basically, constantly, and no matter where I am within fifteen minutes of launching the game. So I tried several methods to try and fix the game, such as: - Verifying the installation files - Uninstalling and reinstalling the game - Uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app and Steam - Uninstalling and reinstalling eaanticheat - Uninstalling all drivers using the DDU method - Updating the BIOS - Excluding the eaanticheat and F1 25 files from the antivirus - Resetting the Hardware folder in "My Documents/mygames/F1 25" - Running the game as administrator - Lowering the graphics settings by disabling the DLSS option. At this point, I've run out of ideas and searched the forums, and despite all this, my game still crashes. PS: i have the game on EA app and Steam , and i have the same problem
