Javelin Error 95 Since Season 3
I have been playing Battlefield 6 without any issues until Season 3 dropped on May 12. Since that update I cannot complete a single match without EA Javelin Anticheat crashing the game with ExitType 95 (267). This is not a hardware issue and it is not a software conflict on my end. I have spent hours troubleshooting and can prove it. Here is everything I have tried with zero success: Full uninstall and reinstall of Battlefield 6. Full uninstall and reinstall of EA Javelin Anticheat. Verified game files through Steam. Disabled and uninstalled Gigabyte RGB software. Disabled Xbox Game Bar and Game DVR. Added BF6 and Javelin to Windows Defender exclusions. Disabled Hypervisor Enforced Code Integrity. Ran SFC and DISM. Checked msinfo32 and confirmed Secure Boot is ON and BIOS Mode is UEFI. My system specs: Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2, AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, 32GB DDR5, Windows 11 Home Build 26200, BF6 installed on Steam. Event Viewer shows the exact same sequence every crash: two EA Javelin Anticheat Event ID 1000 errors with ExitType 95, followed immediately by Service Control Manager Event ID 7023 showing EAAntiCheatService terminated with error 0xFFFF001F. This started the moment Season 3 installed and nothing on my system changed before that update. I am not alone. The error 95 thread on these forums has dozens of players reporting the identical issue with no hardware or software changes on their end, all starting after the Season 3 update. This is a broken Javelin update. Please escalate this to the anticheat team and push a hotfix. A paid game that becomes unplayable after a developer update is unacceptable.134Views0likes4CommentsPC freezing after 10 minutes of playing since 4/16
Yesterday all was fine and I could play BF6 without any issue. Since today, it doesn't matter what I configure, after about 10min off playing freeze. Only hard reset of the PC let it start again. Here the crash dump attached. Chat GPT said its an issue from the Battlefield update today. Unlike some other posts on this forum, this issue has not been happening since a specific Battlefield 6 season, rather possibly an update to the Javelin anti-cheat that was on May 21 (link goes to SteamDB depot change for Javelin on May 21) Currently when trying to boot up Battlefield 6, one of two things will happen: Sometimes the game will crash after booted up for like a minute Most of the time will show the anti-cheat error before going into full-screen. Here's what I've tried already: Clearing the "settings" folder under "%userprofile%/Documents/Battlefield 6" (user settings obviously) Repairing the game via Steam (Right click game > "Properties" > "Installed Files" > "Verify integrity (...)") Reinstalling the game via Steam Reinstalling Javelin--twice Checking BIOS for both Secure Boot & TPM (which would show a different error but is common) Disabling all non-Microsoft services EXCEPT FOR anything under Valve/Steam & EA/Javelin and also disabling any startup applications via Task Manager The reason for the two exceptions for the services are of course for launching the game fully. All of this and no changes. I also have video evidence with me going through my system if that's of interest, but honestly shouldn't be needed. Possible Issue-Makers: AMD Chipset Update (8.05.04.516) I updated my AMD CPU drivers on the 20th--might be the biggest one to look into. Xbox Gaming Services (36.113.2002) Most likely not but is to note as a recent update was pushed out in the early access era of Forza Horizon 6 which was around May 13, but I personally installed on May 19. Microsoft GameInput Probably not the issue, but was installed on May 19. EA Javelin Anti-Cheat (May 21 Update (Manifest ID 7504058622051201888)) Could be the just a bug with **bleep** thing--who knows! I’m contacting regarding a major issue affecting many Middle East players. Since the Middle East servers were removed, we’ve been forced to play on European servers, which has caused very high ping, unstable connection, lag, and poor server performance, especially after recent updates. For many of us, the game is barely playable now. This issue affects a large number of players in the region, not just me. We enjoy Apex Legends and want to continue playing, but the current experience is very frustrating. Please look into this issue and consider a solution for Middle East players, whether through better routing, improved server stability, or regional server support.14Views0likes0CommentsBF6 Crashes and Corrupts Graphics Drivers
Good morning, Just adding to the group here for anyone having the same issue as I have seen a few. I have an AMD GPU (RX 7800 XT) and cannot play the game since the update dropped. Using latest AMD drivers when I try to launch BF6 the game compiles shaders, then once I am on the menu for a minute or two it crashes my entire PC. After restarting, my graphics drivers are completely corrupted and I must do a fresh install to fix. This only happens on BF6, and seems to only happen with the latest AMD Driver. I was just wondering if the team is aware of this, and working on a resolution?404Views6likes12CommentsCamera issues/suggestion
Hi, I don’t know when this update was included, but I noticed that you can zoom in and out, and move the camera around on the family tree part of the Sims. Can we please add that to the camera mode please zoom in and out option still isn’t there for simply taking a photo of another sim, that’s all. Thank you!High ping spikes and incorrect ping warning after Season 3 update
Hi, Since the Battlefield 6 Season 3 update, I’ve been having severe ping issues that make the game unplayable, even though everything was perfectly fine before. What the problem looks like: I play BF6 on Steam, on PC, using a wired Ethernet connection. My internet connection is stable and fast (around 300 Mbps download). Before Season 3 my ping was always stable around 20–30 ms and the game felt smooth. After the Season 3 update, my ping on the scoreboard (TAB) still shows around 20–30 ms, but: I constantly get warnings on the main HUD that my ping is 200–300+ ms or even higher. In actual gameplay I get heavy lag, rubber‑banding and delays that feel like very high ping. These problems happen on multiple servers and game modes. So there is a mismatch: the scoreboard shows a low ping, but the game behaves and warns me as if my ping was extremely high, and it’s basically not playable. What I already tried: Restarted router and PC. Playing only via Ethernet (no Wi‑Fi). Closed all background apps that might use bandwidth. Flushed DNS and reset network settings in Windows. Changed DNS (Google → Cloudflare) as a test. Verified the game files on Steam. Enabled the network performance graph in BF6. Disabled gameplay data sharing / telemetry where possible. The problem started exactly with the Season 3 update and did not exist before. Other online games on the same PC and connection work fine and have stable ping. Request: Is this a known issue with Season 3 / netcode or the ping display? Can you confirm whether the HUD ping warning might be bugged or desynced from the real server ping? Is there any additional troubleshooting specific to BF6 Season 3 that I can try, or are there plans for a fix in an upcoming patch? I can provide screenshots of the scoreboard ping (20–30 ms) and the HUD warning (200–300+ ms), plus clips showing the lag, if needed. Thanks in advance for any help.464Views9likes8CommentsEA sports fd up
