Still no controller vibration Xbox NHL25
All my controllers have vibration in NHL24 and all other of my games installed on my series X. But still after reinstalling NHL25 and playing a week no patch? It works on my ps5 but I prefer playing NHL with an Xbox controller. Can EA please patch this for Xbox. Getting annoying to play without vibration function that I have paid for being able to use in the game.
Sept 2024 update broke loading screen to main menu and exiting cas
I carried out the update yesterday. Updated every mod I had that I was aware needed updating, at first I could get into the game but the game would crash going out of CAS whether it was live mode, from the household management or a new save etc so I went OK must be a mod. Dragged out the entire mod folder from my game to be sure, tested it. Still faulting. Removed the entire sims 4 folder so all saves, trays etc will be new, still happening while 100% vanilla. Uninstalled and reinstalled sims, repaired for probably the 07th time. Now when I try to go in (still vanilla, no saves or tray files etc, no mods at all) I get stuck at the loading screen like it can't progress to the main menu option. I've managed to get into the game, but after going into CAS still crashes on exit, ticked to use the direct x9 which seems to have rectified the cas issue except every second attempt im still stuck at the loading screen for the main menu to get into any saves. I've already done every basic troubleshooting method I can think of, just wanting to know if anyone else is stuck like this?
EC:204 when trying to play offline
I, like many others, am running into the "the game license has expired" error when trying to play offline despite owning this game for the better part of 7 years. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps and it reached the point where EA support told me to post here so...here I am.
newest update 'license invalid' WTF
since the latest update unable to play sims 4,because apparantly EA is dumb. I tried all their fixes even some from reddit NOTHING unable to start the GAME at all. how does a license be INVALID? Having the original CD ROM does jack,because origin needs to connect to internet WOW EA...at least keep ORIGIN open for such things. So i UNINSTALLED EVERYTHING and re instlled NOTHING. SO annoying that i have to search myself cos EA aint doing NOTHINGreaper's rewards broken
the 'plant a lily' and 'plant a snapdragon' wont complete, regardless of how many sims i have had plant snapdragons and lilies across saves. does anyone know how to fix this, or if there are any cheats i can use to progress? im unable to do any of the week 2 quests because of this, and i dont want to miss out on everything because the game is broken
Long initial load time and can't connect to gallery
About a month ago, the initial load time to get to the menu took a lot longer than normal. When I got to the menu, it was different because I wasn't connected to the internet. The gallery wouldn't connect. I continued playing this way for about 2 weeks. Then, without changing anything on my computer, it loaded fast and I was connected. I was able to get the first week rewards from the Reaper. 5 days ago it started loading slow with no connection again. I'm able to complete the Reaper events, but can't claim the rewards due to not being connected. I tried turning off anti-virus/firewall, moving Mods folder out, moving The Sims 4 folder out, flushing dns, repairing the game, switching from ethernet to Wifi. Nothing works. Any suggestions?
Invisible items
I´m not sure if it is a Technical Issue but.... sinc the last Update i have a lot of Items across all expansion packs that are invisible. For example: I went to the Library in Britechester and i cant see any Bookshelf. In the screenshot i moved with my mous to one bookshelf, not even then i can really see the Item. There is no issue with using the items just a visual issue. No I´m not using all expansion packs. Yes I´m using mods/cc Its a new safe file for the Super Sim Challange. I didnt even start the challange right. Just finished building the house and then when directliy to the library.
Update problems / General issues
Since I updated the game, I have not been able to save with save and exit or normal save it worked once but now I just get stuck in the screen, I haven't tried it yet but I have seen a work around using save as, I am currently uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if that helps but this has been happening since the September update with grim rewards. I do use mods, and I have been for quite some time, but this has never been an issue. I've checked through my mods folder deleting anything I think might be at fault as well as running scans with mccc and better exceptions, but nothing seems to be fixing this issue I've never had this problem before, and any help will be greatly appreciated.
