Update 1.22
Hey, I just wanted to say how frustrating and annoying it is that a genuine fix to car performance hasnt been added in 1.22 coming on June 16th. Williams are fighting for podiums and wins, when they can barely escape Q1 irl, meanwhile Mercedes are often failing to Qualify/Finish in the Top 2, while McLaren and Verstappen dominate. Aston Martin continue to fight for points finishes, Alonso often making Q3, while Racing Bulls and Audi are somehow backmarkers? These issues are so fundamental to gameplay, and so incredibly frustrating when trying to do a career mode. It's honestly astounding they werent solved in the pre-launch, how did nobody notice these ridiculous things? Anyways, its extremely annoying, combined with your (as always) terrible attempts at representitive driver ratings (How are Lawson/Gasly/Lindblad so low, while Alonso and Albon are so high?) just makes the overall issue so much worse. Please fix it, it's genuinely unbearable. Also, please add one of the Racing Bulls special liveries and the McLaren 1000th GP Livery in the next real update, they are very nice and need to be playable like the Chrome and Haas' liveries were last year. Don't revive that **bleep**, broken, glitchy knock-out gamemode tho, that was one of the worst experiences I've ever had trying to unlock a special livery, truly miserable.UNREALISTIC CAR PERFORMANCES.
Ok so I know the DLC has only been out for a week and you are planning a future updates. But the car performances in the new 2026 DLC are so unrealistic particularly from the Aston Martin who are getting into Q3, as well as Williams who in real life have an overweight car so they should not be challenging for podiums. And also most of all Mercedes who have dominated the season since the start as well as Antonelli who has gone on an insane 5 win streak surely this is not a fluke. Just wanted to get the word out as quickly as possibleBOOST mode does not disable when I release button I binded to it.
So the problem is, whenever I use BOOST mode -in Carreer mode-, even after I release it, stays enabled therefore costing me a lot of battery. It is really annoying because I can not use it whenever and wherever I want to use it. I had a similar experience with F1 24 before, the problem never got fixed. However in F1 25 the problem was solved so I can not comprehend how this can be an issue in the same game, since the only difference is basically a DLC. I saw this problem at other youtubers also, but I am guessing it is not a problem for those who use preset ERS modes. Please also not that this happens while ERS preset is set to "None". In addition I checked with several key bindings, still does the same.ERS deployment not working correctly in F1 25 cars after 2026 Season Pack update
Platform: Playstation 5 Game version: 1.020.000 Report code: KSTR-LLBP-JLJB-VTMB Modes tested: My Team Career, Time Trial, Grand Prix and Multiplayer Grand Prix Car Type: F1 25 cars, not 2026 cars Description: Since the 2026 Season Pack update, the F1 25 cars feel significantly slower than before, especially on long straights. I have tested this in multiple modes, including My Team Career, Time Trial, Grand Prix and Multiplayer Grand Prix, and the issue seems to happen in all of them. The main problem is that the car feels like it is missing straight-line speed. In online races, other players pull away from me very quickly on the straights, almost as if my car has much less power or is not using ERS correctly. My driving itself feels normal, but the speed difference on the straights is so large that online racing has become almost unplayable. I also notice this in My Team Career. I use AI difficulty 90. Before the update, I could usually compete for points and sometimes even podiums, while my teammate was often near the back. In Qualifying Pace practice programmes, I could normally reach the purple target quite comfortably. Since the update, I struggle to even reach the green target and I also struggle much more against my teammate. I use Team Telemetry to monitor ERS behaviour, including Harvest MGU-K, Harvest MGU-H and Deployed. At first I noticed that the Deployed value sometimes stopped changing after a few seconds, even when Hotlap or Normal mode should have been deploying ERS on a straight. Recently, the issue does not always look like a complete stop anymore, but it still feels like ERS is not being used fully or aggressively enough. Another thing I noticed is that I can sometimes keep Overtake mode enabled for a very long time without the battery draining as expected. In Hotlap mode, there also seems to be too much ERS remaining after a lap compared to before the update. Expected behaviour: The F1 25 cars should have similar straight-line speed and ERS behaviour to before the 2026 Season Pack update, unless this was an intentional and documented change. Hotlap and Overtake mode should use ERS properly and drain the battery at a normal rate. Steps to reproduce: Start a session with the F1 25 cars, not the 2026 cars. Test in My Team Career, Time trial, Grand Prix or multiplayer Grand Prix. Drive on a track with long straights. Use Normal, Hotlap or Overtake mode. Compare Straight-line speed and ERS battery usage to how the game behaved before the 2026 Season pack update. Optionally monitor ERS behaviour with telemetry: Harvest MGU-k, Harvest MGU-H and Deployed. Summary: The issue seems to be that the F1 25 cars have lost straight-line speed after the update, possibly because ERS is not being deployed or consumed correctly. This affects multiple game modes, including online races, and makes the cars feel much slower than before.Driver ratings all wrong in 2025 MyTeam after season update
Kimi is back to 72, Ollie back to 74 etc. All ratings changed back to what they were at launch post update, meaning the field is heavily imbalanced at this point. Applies to all new saves, and applies to both PC and PS5. Would love a fix, as this completely breaks the immersion.F1 25 Corrupted save file and Had to restart over
For some reason and Randomly out of the blue, I had lost or corrupted my save file which caused me to lose my Liveries for the F1 25 Cars, Lost progression in the Career Modes and even my settings went back to default and I do not even know why, I cant go back to a previous version of the save and I have not done a backup of the files beforehand and I believe this is poor design of the save files on EA ends to make sure that corruption like these is prevented and they can be preventable but however they did not even try. A solution to this is cloud saves where your Saves are backed up to the cloud and so when a corruption happens like this, the game can ask you if you want to start over or to recover a recent save backed up to the cloud. This is the most easiest and the best ways to prevent this problem as each save file takes up around a couple of KB of data and so it is not excusable to not go for this option especially for the amount of copies sold of F1 25 as at most it would prob take up 10GB of space. If their is any solutions to help me backup my saves or to even restore my save which as been corrupted like so please send it over. But apart from that Please fix this as this can happen to many people and I believe that many other people has also ran into this issue. But however, my F1 25 multiplayer stats seem to not be affected by this so it means that they have a system in place for this partially for the multiplayer side but however did not do the same for the single-Player side which is unfortunate, I have even seen a similar thread like this posted to the EA forms 6 Months ago with no action taking place and it shows that this is a ongoing problem that may have started since the release of F1 25. Please fix your game so that more people do not run into this issue thanks! Form link: https://forums.ea.com/idea/f1-25-bug-reports-en/corrupted-save/12870301BUG using [Custom Car Setup]
When playing F2 Career and changing the car's setup in any way BEFORE qualifying (manually in the car setup menu, by loading a setting, or on the track, for example, by adjusting the brake balance), we have MUCH more fuel in qualifying. If we skip practice or don't change the settings in practice, we have less fuel. In Monaco, we can have fuel for 15.8 laps (when changing the settings) or 6.9 laps (when not changing the settings, i.e., when using one of the 5 preset settings). For comparison, the AI has a fuel level of 3.5 laps. At different tracks, the fuel level in our car varies, but the AI always has the same 3.5 laps. This problem ONLY affects F2 QUALIFYING! (because in F1 we can adjust the fuel level). I noticed the same thing in F1 24! F1 23 also has this problem, but the difference is SMALLER when we change the settings in practice. To achieve better lap times, we need to change the car's settings, and if we do, we're penalized in qualifying (with a heavier car)! Similarly, if we try different settings in practice (or load them), we're penalized with a heavy car in qualifying! This makes the game difficult, especially in Monaco, where it's difficult to make up ground from the back of the grid. This requires a quick fix! Besides, the AI's fuel levels and ours should be equal in qualifying! Fix this in F1 25 and F1 24.Brake and Differential
When we appear on the track and turn on MFD, we can adjust the brake and differential settings NORMALLY (i.e. decrease or increase from the value we set in the garage). But when we appear on the track and do NOT turn on MDF, but immediately press the mapped buttons for the brake and differential settings (increase or decrease), for example, the brake balance setting jumps to the minimum value of 50% (even though a different value was set in the garage) and we adjust from this value. It should work as in the first case. Adjustment should start from the previously set value. The same with the differential. In previous F1 games it was just as BAD.
