My PC specs are as follows: Windows 10 x64 (up to date) AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-Core Processor 64gb RAM AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Played through Steam i have been having this problem for 2 or more months now and im tired of waiting for a patch. i can start the game, but 20ish seconds after loading into a game, it freezes for 20 sec, all my monitors go black, every external monitor loses connection, and i hear an error sound in the background, but i cannot interact with my PC at all, forcing me to hard reset. when my pc resets, my graphics drivers have been uninstalled (with only one screen working), and trying to open AMD Adrenalin just loops me in a circle saying it needs to update, and update failed. i have to run AMD's clean up tool and reinstall drivers + Adrenalin. i have tried everything to fix this myself. updating drivers, bios, amd adrenalin, steam, ect. i have tried reinstalling, checking the files, clearing caches, but the files arent corrupt. there are no crash logs on my system to tell me what's wrong, but with some research, people say online it MIGHT be an interaction with Microslop's update packages and BF6 not knowing how to deal with the AI BS code. like i said. im tired of waiting. it's been months. i want to play but im being held hostage by some BS thats out of my controlCritical glitch on the new Hagental Base map affecting gameplay integrity
There is a significant bug on the new Hagental Base map that may negatively impact the player experience during matches. Specifically, a glitch occurs at Point D that makes it difficult to spot or eliminate enemy soldiers. Platform: PC Description: There is a visual rendering bug when using the 6x Thermal Scope on sniper rifles. When Aiming Down Sights (ADS), the skybox renders completely blurry inside the scope lens. The terrain, ground structures, and player models render perfectly sharp and clear, but the sky area loses resolution and appears out of focus. This seems to be a Depth of Field (DoF) or specific shader issue tied to the thermal optic overlay. Steps to Reproduce: Equip any sniper rifle and attach the 6x Thermal Scope. ADS (Aim Down Sights) and aim towards the sky/horizon. Observe that the terrain is sharp, but the skybox inside the lens is heavily blurred. Additional Note: This issue did not exist at launch. It first appeared later during Season 3 and has unfortunately persisted into Season 4. Before Season 3, the skybox rendered perfectly fine through the 6x thermal scope. Further Details: This visual bug is present across all maps in the game. Additionally, changing scopes or swapping weapons does not fix or reset the issue.7Views0likes0CommentsList of bugs - REDSEC Season 4
1. Hit registration issues when playing from the same IP address My son and I play from the same public IP address. Every time we play in the same match, the game behaves as if it is not registering all weapon hits. It often takes about twice as many bullets to down an enemy. There are also situations where a downed enemy requires an entire additional magazine to be finished off. Sometimes it is easier to down an enemy than to finish them, even though they are lying completely still. The situation is slightly better when either my son or I play alone, although not always. We both use a 1 Gbit/s fiber connection and our ping is around 20 ms. Despite this, the game feels as if we are playing with 200 ms latency or even more. Very often I start shooting first at an enemy who is facing away from me and has no idea that I am there. Despite this, they manage to turn around and kill me with two shots before I have any chance to react. This does not appear to be a network issue on our side because we do not experience anything similar in other games. I also achieve very good results in other Battlefield game modes, such as Gauntlet. Additionally, I watch YouTubers playing REDSEC, and they usually down enemies with only 10-15 bullets, while in our case it often takes many more. 2. Unable to jump from the helicopter Sometimes, at the start of a match, I cannot jump from the helicopter even though the squad leader has already jumped, so my character should have automatically followed. The helicopter flies out of bounds, the 10-second death timer appears, and only about three seconds before it expires does my character automatically jump out. My character then dies in mid-air. After respawning, another bug appears. The game sounds are no longer played from my current location but from the place where I originally died. This issue lasts until the end of the match, even if I die again or get revived by a teammate. I can hear vehicles and helicopters that seem to be right next to me even though they are actually somewhere else. 3. Overexposed screen Sometimes the screen becomes extremely bright during a match. It turns almost completely white, making it impossible to see anything. Respawning does not fix the issue. The effect only disappears after starting the next match. 4. Game stuttering Since Season 4, the game has started stuttering regularly. This did not happen before. 5. Permanent gas effect After being hit by the Assault class gas, the gas effect remained active until the next redeploy. Before getting a redeploy, I killed myself with my own grenades. A teammate revived me, but the gas effect was still active. My character continued experiencing hallucinations and remained at 1 HP even though both armor plates were still completely intact. 6. Looping music during loading While loading into a new match, the background music loops continuously. Every 3-4 seconds the music restarts from the beginning. 7. Problems picking up items Sometimes I cannot pick up an item with a single key press. I have to press the interaction key two, three or even four times before the game responds. 8. Problems reviving teammates Sometimes I cannot cancel reviving a teammate when I need to because I hear an enemy approaching. Sometimes the revive is interrupted automatically for no reason. At other times I cannot revive a teammate at all. Normally, whenever an interaction is available, such as opening a door or picking up a weapon, the interaction prompt appears on the screen. However, there are cases where the revive prompt never appears above a downed teammate, even though they still have plenty of time before bleeding out. 9. Automatically picking up items after opening ambulance doors If I open the rear doors of an ambulance and there is a weapon, defibrillator or Redeploy Tower directly behind the doors, the item is picked up immediately after the doors open. This automatically replaces my current equipment. I have lost my weapon or another important item many times because of this. 10. Stuck after jumping from the helicopter Sometimes, immediately after jumping from the helicopter, I appear in a random location on the map and cannot play. My character, weapon and user interface are invisible. I only see a random part of the map. My teammates see me as dead, but they cannot use a Redeploy Tower on me. Only after another teammate dies for the third time or the whole squad is eliminated do I finally see the helicopter jump animation. As soon as it finishes, the screen turns completely black and I cannot do anything. 11. Voice chat issues Sometimes, after a match starts, I cannot hear my teammates or they cannot hear me. The only solution is to restart the game. 12. Black screen after the match ends After a match finishes, while returning to the lobby, the screen often turns completely black and the game becomes stuck. Voice chat continues to work, but the game never returns to the lobby, forcing me to close it manually. 13. Losing mouse control while deploying the UAV When deploying a UAV, I temporarily lose control of my mouse. The deployment animation takes over mouse input, causing my character to rotate together with the animation. 14. Unable to place map markers while controlling the drone It is not possible to place map markers while controlling the drone. 15. Game file verification I have verified and repaired the game files many times. The process always finishes almost instantly and reports no problems, so this does not appear to be caused by a corrupted installation. 16. Hardware configuration Both my son and I play on two almost identical computers: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Both computers are connected to the same 1 Gbit/s fiber internet connection.421Views5likes6CommentsBlack Screen bug when leaving the game.
The black screen bug from a previous season made its return in season 3 and is still happening in season 4. When you leave a game (for whatever reason), you have a chance to encounter this bug as the game essentially hangs while it's trying to get back to the main menu. You can't do anything but alt + F4/restart the game. It's hard to reproduce because not always consistent when it happens but it does happen. Sometimes every other game, sometimes back to back games, sometimes every 5-7 games, etc. Hoping to see it fixed soon as it is frustrating to have to restart the game multiple times a session.80Views14likes7CommentsBF6 Black Screen Crash Fixed by AMD Driver Rollback to 26.3.1
Hello, I want to share my full troubleshooting process and the final solution in case it helps other AMD users and EA/DICE developers investigate the issue. Problem: Since 23/06/2026, Battlefield 6 would no longer launch. The launch sequence was always the same: EA AntiCheat starts. AntiCheat loading bar completes. EA App says “Launching game”. A black screen appears for a few seconds. The game closes. EA App opens again. There was no in-game error message. The game simply returned to the EA App. The issue started after I had played Battlefield 6 for hours without any problem on 22/06/2026. I shut down the PC normally, and the next day the game started crashing on launch. System Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X GPU: Sapphire RX 7800 XT Nitro+ Gaming OC 16GB Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M DS3H RAM: Patriot DDR5 6400 MHz SSD: XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 PSU: Rampage 750W 80+ Bronze OS: Windows 11 Pro Monitor: AOC 27” 1080p 165Hz FreeSync + secondary ASUS 75Hz monitor Things I Tried Before Finding the Fix: Cleared EA App cache Reinstalled EA App Repaired Battlefield 6 files Reinstalled Battlefield 6 Repaired/reinstalled EA AntiCheat Deleted EA AntiCheat folder and forced EA App to reinstall it Added Windows Defender exclusions for Battlefield 6 and EA AntiCheat folders Disabled Windows real-time protection temporarily Ran EA App and BF6 as administrator Cleared Battlefield 6 cache and crash dump folders Renamed/reset the Documents\Battlefield 6 folder Tested with clean PROFSAVE_profile Restored original PROFSAVE_profile and multiplayer profile files Cleared AMD shader cache folders Cleared DirectX shader cache Disabled AMD overlay Disabled Razer Synapse / Razer Cortex Disabled MSI Afterburner / RTSS Disabled HYPR-RX Disabled AMD Fluid Motion Frames / AFMF Disabled FSR / upscaling Disabled Radeon Boost, Chill, Enhanced Sync Checked Windows Event Viewer Checked Reliability Monitor Ran SFC /scannow Ran DISM checks Checked Volume Shadow Copy / COM+ services Tested with reduced background apps Important Crash Dump Findings: I analyzed the Battlefield 6 .mdmp crash dump using WinDbg Preview. Relevant output: PROCESS_NAME: bf6.exe Failure.Bucket: INVALID_POINTER_READ_c0000005_amdxc64.dll!Unknown ExceptionCode: c0000005 - Access Violation Faulting module: amdxc64.dll IMAGE_NAME: amdxc64.dll MODULE_NAME: amdxc64 The crash occurred here: amdxc64!GetSettingsBlobsAllDecoded+0x5fa mov rcx, qword ptr [rax+18h] The register value showed: RAX = 0000000000000000 So the driver attempted to read from: 0000000000000018 This looks like a NULL pointer / invalid pointer read during the DX12 render initialization path. The call stack included: amdxc64.dll amd_fidelityfx_framegeneration_dx12.dll amd_fidelityfx_loader_dx12.dll bf6.exe The loaded AMD DX12 driver module was: amdxc64.dll File version: 32.0.31021.5001 ProductName: AMD Radeon DirectX 12 Driver Timestamp: Fri Jun 26 2026 The FidelityFX Frame Generation module was loaded from the Battlefield 6 install directory: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 6\amd_fidelityfx_framegeneration_dx12.dll File version: 4.0.0.0 ProductName: AMD FidelityFX Frame Generation Final Fix: The issue was fixed by performing a clean AMD driver rollback. Steps that fixed it: Backed up AMD Adrenalin settings and Battlefield 6 settings. Downloaded AMD Adrenalin 26.3.1 from the official AMD website. Disconnected the internet. Booted into Safe Mode. Used DDU to completely remove the current AMD GPU driver. Rebooted into normal Windows. Installed AMD Adrenalin 26.3.1. Rebooted. Launched Battlefield 6. After installing AMD Adrenalin 26.3.1, Battlefield 6 launched successfully. I tested the game for more than 15 minutes, then restored my original Battlefield 6 settings files: PROFSAVE_profile PROFSAVEbf6mp PROFSAVEbf6mp_profile The game still worked normally. I also tested with: Radeon Anti-Lag: ON FPS limit: 120 Razer software: ON MSI Afterburner: ON The game remained stable. Conclusion: In my case, the issue was not caused by: EA App cache Battlefield 6 game files EA AntiCheat installation Windows Defender Windows system corruption PROFSAVE settings Razer Synapse / Cortex MSI Afterburner AMD shader cache Battlefield 6 cache The issue appears to be related to a newer AMD Adrenalin driver branch conflicting with Battlefield 6’s DX12 / AMD FidelityFX Frame Generation initialization path. The crash dump consistently pointed to: amdxc64.dll amd_fidelityfx_framegeneration_dx12.dll amd_fidelityfx_loader_dx12.dll c0000005 Access Violation Rolling back to AMD Adrenalin 26.3.1 fixed the black screen crash loop completely. I hope this helps other AMD RX 7000 series users and helps EA/DICE/AMD investigate the compatibility issue.Solved2.5KViews5likes8CommentsShooting Through Squad Members Bug
Hi EA, BigBoy here. I’ve picked up a bug that needs your attention. Since Battlefield is based around a more realistic style of gameplay, I don’t believe players should be able to shoot through their own squad members to hit enemies. At the moment, this appears to be happening. I can be shot at by an enemy in front of me while another enemy behind my squad member is also able to shoot through their teammate to hit me. This does not feel realistic and has a big impact on gameplay. Could this please be investigated?7Views0likes0Comments
