VR view fully bugged out
Hi, So I have a strange game breakin issue here. Everything works great in VR with the main menu until I get into the game. At first I saw 2 screens that were extremely stretched (one "screen" on each side of me). Very disorienting and weird. But some how I could still see the In game UI and options perfectly fine in the middle of my view. When I take off the headset I can see the game clearly on my screen looking perfectly fine, but when the pc tries to mirror that to the headset there is something that completely breaks my game view. Tried to restart the game and see if the problem persisted and yes they did. But this time the game was just having a party with blinking colors in my eyes, once again the UI and Menus still work great. My specs and how I'm running this: GPU - Radeon RX 9070XT with the latest driver ( Currently that is 25.3.1) CPU - Ryzen 7 7800X3D 64GB RAM Plenty of m.2 drive space Using the PSVR 2 with the adapter. OpenXR using SteamVR Launching game through the EA App and then "VR Mode" As is, this game is unplayable to me. (Was hard to get a screenshot of the VR view but oh well, you can see that I only see one color and UI where I should see the car and everything around it)5Views0likes0CommentsVR Updates
Hey EA, Are you done with updating VR? It certainly feels that way to me. If not, when will we get the next update and what are you planning on fixing? FYI HP Reverb user, I played most of this game with UEVR and then with your 1st attempt with VR but after that, hardly ever as it's basically unplayable. Now almost a year later and still we're waiting for a proper fix for a good part of the vr community. At the very least give us an update that allows us to use the 1st version if we choose to, when it worked ok or ever allow us to us UEVR so we can at least play the game in VR.Tried reinstalling today.
After a fresh game install, applied the recommended fixes for VR, set my OpenXR to SteamVR. The game launches, switches the view to cockpit and the application stops responding. I used to be able to play correctly a bit after launch, not anymore. PC Specs: VR : HP Reverb G2, Win11 23h2, i7 13700KF, RTX 3080, 32GB RAMCan you please fix the right eye bug that's been ongoing for 9 months?
Dirt 2.0 was big free. This is unacceptable. Please fix your game. It's annoying to have to constently turn off and on graphics settings to make the right eye big go away . I want to just run the game on max settings without having to mess around every race start.Option to start in VR missing (STEAM)
There is no option to start in VR anymore when starting the game in STEAM. Using Pimax Crystal headset. Headset works fine with any other VR titles, but SteamVR and OpenXR, so this is a EW WRC issue, not at computer or headset issue. Also EW WRC game is not displayed in the VR games list in Steam anymore when selectin the VR tag to filter my library. Every other VR game I have i displayed. Sop there is something fundamentally wrong here. Have tried to uninstall and reinstall the entire game, as well as verify installation files.VR initialization error
I can not get the game starting in VR on PC, it does not work in F1 23 too. Whenever I choose the option "Play F1 in VR" I am getting this error in both, F1 23 and F1 24: I am using the Meta Quest 3 with Virtual Desktop over wireless connection and VDRX as OpenXR runtime. This works for all other games, even MSFS2024 via game pass, only F1 will not work with my setup. I tried lowering the resultion and switching to windowed mode but I still get the same error. How can I make this work? F1 was one of the reasons why I've got a Q3 in the first place.754Views0likes2Comments
