Tried reinstalling today.
After a fresh game install, applied the recommended fixes for VR, set my OpenXR to SteamVR. The game launches, switches the view to cockpit and the application stops responding. I used to be able to play correctly a bit after launch, not anymore. PC Specs: VR : HP Reverb G2, Win11 23h2, i7 13700KF, RTX 3080, 32GB RAMNo Anti-Aliasing Options in VR mode
Trying to get VR up and running after getting the non-vr graphics settings setup, and I found that there are no options beyond TAA and TAA + Sharpening while playing in VR mode. I doubt this is intentional because DLSS and FSR were available in VR for F1 23 and F1 24. I tried to circumvent this with the XML file by manually setting the correct values for DLAA, but it did not seem to work. Hopefully this can be fixed promptly because TAA looks absolutely terrible and blurry. Running on rx9070 with 5600x, adrenalin 25.6.2 Having the issue on both f124 and f125. recently switch from 3060 to rx9070. On my first run after DDU + install new GPU, it runs well, but after some tweaking and reinstalling drivers, it no longer work. I ran into the same problem where it renders as a "screen" while being placed up higher and zoomed in I'm currently running on pico neo 3 link. the issue only occur when I'm using cable (dp to USC c on pico). when I'm running wireless through the pico link app, it works fine. i also notice that when running on cable the resolution wont be 1:1, but on wireless it is. not sure it if matters or not.VR view fully bugged out
Hi, So I have a strange game breakin issue here. Everything works great in VR with the main menu until I get into the game. At first I saw 2 screens that were extremely stretched (one "screen" on each side of me). Very disorienting and weird. But some how I could still see the In game UI and options perfectly fine in the middle of my view. When I take off the headset I can see the game clearly on my screen looking perfectly fine, but when the pc tries to mirror that to the headset there is something that completely breaks my game view. Tried to restart the game and see if the problem persisted and yes they did. But this time the game was just having a party with blinking colors in my eyes, once again the UI and Menus still work great. My specs and how I'm running this: GPU - Radeon RX 9070XT with the latest driver ( Currently that is 25.3.1) CPU - Ryzen 7 7800X3D 64GB RAM Plenty of m.2 drive space Using the PSVR 2 with the adapter. OpenXR using SteamVR Launching game through the EA App and then "VR Mode" As is, this game is unplayable to me. (Was hard to get a screenshot of the VR view but oh well, you can see that I only see one color and UI where I should see the car and everything around it)228Views2likes3CommentsPS VR2 on PC is still completely unplayable just like it was in F1 24
As described in this other user’s post here: VR view fully bugged out | EA Forums - 12072138 This issue has something to do with lens optimization, as toggling it on brings back colour around your field of view, as if you can only see one pixel at a time. When I look down at my red ferrari my entire field of view is red, when I look up at the sky the whole view is blue. When lens optimization is off however the field of view is completely black. OSD and menus are completely fine and normal, it’s once you get into the car that doesn’t work, yet the view on the TV is completely fine, only bugged in the headset. Considering 23 still works no problem I was hoping 25 would’ve somehow fixed this same issue 24 had but that is not the case. F1 25 is completely unplayable for me. Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RX 9070 XT, PS VR2 via PC Adapter This is a bizarre issue to describe but please EA the last 2 years of F1 games have been unplayable in VR for me, and have remained playing 23 because that somehow works no problem, what changed?F1 25 crashes when switching between VR and flat
Currently running an Oculus Quest 3. This has been happening for a few games now, but sometimes when switching between VR and flat mode (eg between sitting in the garage and looking at the garage screen) Steam VR can sometimes freeze and crash. It most frequently happens if the headset is moving while switching modes, or if you try to press buttons (eg switching between garage tabs) while the game stabilises.vr
f1 25 in vr is incredibly blurry. Using 9800x3d and RTX 4090. The performance is much worse than F1 24 and F1 23. I have run both previous versions to compare and they are both clearer and crisper. Something is wrong with the rendering, it uses more GPU resources but the image is also more blurry. This is using the same settings and resolution as in previous games. The image is so bad, I cant see braking board markers clearly. This is using TAA and sharpening, this provided the clearest image in previous versions. This is running with high resolution around 4700x 4700. Please test and fix.F1 25 VR - It's almost there
Got F1 25 running in VR. And not just running — running right. I’m on a Pico 4 with Ryzen 5 7600X, RTX 5080. I dialed in the settings. Smooth. 72Hz or 90Hz depending on the mode I’m in. It’s responsive, it’s sharp, and for once — it actually drives well for an F1 title. But. There’s still one thing that kills it for me: cockpit shakiness. And I don’t mean head tracking delay or wobble. That part’s nailed. I’m talking about these tiny micro-movements getting blown up. Every little vibration that runs from the wheel through my hands to my head? It gets amplified. Like my whole head is jittering, just from natural force feedback. It’s subtle, but it adds up. I start missing apexes. My eyes get distracted. The immersion cracks. Everything else is there. The visuals, the smoothness, the input feel — finally solid. But this one issue is the last brick. Tried both Pico Connect and Virtual Desktop. Wired and Wifi. Thought of giving ALVR a shot but my Steam refund period is up. So here’s the ask: Is there any way to filter that out? SteamVR add-on? Some smoothing layer that can kill those micro-tremors without killing responsiveness? If you’ve got a fix, I’m all earsG923 Wheel Recalibrates Every 10 Seconds in VR Mode Only
I have a Logitech G923 wheel and I'm trying to play F1 25 on Steam with my Quest 3 VR headset. The wheel operates fine up until I get into a race. Any race I select, it will work fine for about 10 seconds and then just randomly decide to recalibrate the wheel. It'll do this about every 10 seconds of the race, and I lose all control while it's in the calibration process. If I launch the game in Desktop mode in Steam, the wheel works absolutely fine. I can complete 10 races in a row without any recalibration issues. This issue is frustrating and unique to F1 2025 in VR mode. I've logged a lot of hours with the same setup in Automobilista 2 using VR with no issues.PC+VR Time trial + Online MP instant crash
Hi, I bought the game for time trials and online multiplayer. But these modes seem not to work for me. Time trial crashes instantly when I try to start it. Online multiplayer (placement) I can drive 1 race but then before next race it crashes identically than in time trials mode. Tried also single screen mode and doesn't work either. This is very frustrating as these modes are the ones I'm interested. Breaking point (completed) seem to work and career mode without issues.. PC+VR RTX4090/7800X3D, Pimax crystal (Steam VR)
