No rain spray in VR
There is no rain spray showing in VR in wet weather races. Have tried all settings nothing seems to make it better. Rain spray in pancake mode looks amazing so I know it’s modelled within the game. Playing on meta quest 3 with link cable, rtx 4080. I have downloaded latest Nvidia drivers. This was also an issue in F1 23 and F1 24, however surprisingly in F1 22 rain spray looks amazing in VR (I have just tried it). is this a bug or is it just how it is now? If it’s how it is now may just go back to 22.VR Wobble / jitter when in Car
This issue has persisted since 23 /24 and makes the game unplayable. When in game, there is a head tracking problem which gives the feeling of "wobbling", and it seems to be that the tracking is delayed or out of sync, causing stutter when moving your head. This causes instant sickness and makes it unplayable. I'm yet to find a post in the community with a fix and it seems to be a very common issue. My specs: 5700x3d 32GB Ram Nvidia 5070TI Quest 3 via SteamVR (Link cable and virtual desktop) running at 90hz Tried a wide range of settings, including dropping everything to the minimum. No avail.Crash to Desktop - SteamVR/Oculus2

Game .exe version: 1.0.125.9504 Game crashes to desktop with no error when trying to load into any F1 World event/race in VR. I have been able to load into 1 or 2 races, but normally it always, consistently crashes during the loading screen. Game crashes with no error message, no logs that I can see, no errors in Event Viewer. Some offline features work perfectly in VR, I completed braking point with zero issues. Non-VR gameplay seems to work with no issues. I am launching the game through SteamVR, using SteamVR runtimes, with lowest graphics settings. I have no undervolt of overclock on any components. I have tried: -Updating to latest BIOS.-Used latest AMD Drivers, and clean install of 24.6.1, and other versions. -Launching the game in DX11. -Disabling all overlays. -Disabling all AMD Adrenalin features (Chill, Anti-lag, Boost etc). -Resetting SteamVR as default runtime. -Setting all graphic settings to minimum. -Deleting hardware_settings_config.xml between attempts to load an event. -Setting the game .exe to high performance. -Uninstalling/Disabling iCUE, JoyToKey, AutoHotKey -Reinstalling and updating all Meta Quest services. -Moved game files to NVME/SSD. -Reinstalled Game, verified file integrity. -Reinstalled DX12/11. Any support here or troubleshooting I can do? I've seen this reported a lot in the community, are the team aware of any issues with VR support? Let me know if you need any further information to clarify the issue.Tried reinstalling today.
After a fresh game install, applied the recommended fixes for VR, set my OpenXR to SteamVR. The game launches, switches the view to cockpit and the application stops responding. I used to be able to play correctly a bit after launch, not anymore. PC Specs: VR : HP Reverb G2, Win11 23h2, i7 13700KF, RTX 3080, 32GB RAMNo Anti-Aliasing Options in VR mode
Trying to get VR up and running after getting the non-vr graphics settings setup, and I found that there are no options beyond TAA and TAA + Sharpening while playing in VR mode. I doubt this is intentional because DLSS and FSR were available in VR for F1 23 and F1 24. I tried to circumvent this with the XML file by manually setting the correct values for DLAA, but it did not seem to work. Hopefully this can be fixed promptly because TAA looks absolutely terrible and blurry. Running on rx9070 with 5600x, adrenalin 25.6.2 Having the issue on both f124 and f125. recently switch from 3060 to rx9070. On my first run after DDU + install new GPU, it runs well, but after some tweaking and reinstalling drivers, it no longer work. I ran into the same problem where it renders as a "screen" while being placed up higher and zoomed in I'm currently running on pico neo 3 link. the issue only occur when I'm using cable (dp to USC c on pico). when I'm running wireless through the pico link app, it works fine. i also notice that when running on cable the resolution wont be 1:1, but on wireless it is. not sure it if matters or not.VR view fully bugged out
Hi, So I have a strange game breakin issue here. Everything works great in VR with the main menu until I get into the game. At first I saw 2 screens that were extremely stretched (one "screen" on each side of me). Very disorienting and weird. But some how I could still see the In game UI and options perfectly fine in the middle of my view. When I take off the headset I can see the game clearly on my screen looking perfectly fine, but when the pc tries to mirror that to the headset there is something that completely breaks my game view. Tried to restart the game and see if the problem persisted and yes they did. But this time the game was just having a party with blinking colors in my eyes, once again the UI and Menus still work great. My specs and how I'm running this: GPU - Radeon RX 9070XT with the latest driver ( Currently that is 25.3.1) CPU - Ryzen 7 7800X3D 64GB RAM Plenty of m.2 drive space Using the PSVR 2 with the adapter. OpenXR using SteamVR Launching game through the EA App and then "VR Mode" As is, this game is unplayable to me. (Was hard to get a screenshot of the VR view but oh well, you can see that I only see one color and UI where I should see the car and everything around it)242Views2likes3CommentsPS VR2 on PC is still completely unplayable just like it was in F1 24
As described in this other user’s post here: VR view fully bugged out | EA Forums - 12072138 This issue has something to do with lens optimization, as toggling it on brings back colour around your field of view, as if you can only see one pixel at a time. When I look down at my red ferrari my entire field of view is red, when I look up at the sky the whole view is blue. When lens optimization is off however the field of view is completely black. OSD and menus are completely fine and normal, it’s once you get into the car that doesn’t work, yet the view on the TV is completely fine, only bugged in the headset. Considering 23 still works no problem I was hoping 25 would’ve somehow fixed this same issue 24 had but that is not the case. F1 25 is completely unplayable for me. Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RX 9070 XT, PS VR2 via PC Adapter This is a bizarre issue to describe but please EA the last 2 years of F1 games have been unplayable in VR for me, and have remained playing 23 because that somehow works no problem, what changed?F1 25 crashes when switching between VR and flat
Currently running an Oculus Quest 3. This has been happening for a few games now, but sometimes when switching between VR and flat mode (eg between sitting in the garage and looking at the garage screen) Steam VR can sometimes freeze and crash. It most frequently happens if the headset is moving while switching modes, or if you try to press buttons (eg switching between garage tabs) while the game stabilises.vr
f1 25 in vr is incredibly blurry. Using 9800x3d and RTX 4090. The performance is much worse than F1 24 and F1 23. I have run both previous versions to compare and they are both clearer and crisper. Something is wrong with the rendering, it uses more GPU resources but the image is also more blurry. This is using the same settings and resolution as in previous games. The image is so bad, I cant see braking board markers clearly. This is using TAA and sharpening, this provided the clearest image in previous versions. This is running with high resolution around 4700x 4700. Please test and fix.
