College Football 27: Suggestions For Improved Gameplay
1. Dynamic Crowd Logic & Attendance In older titles, the stadium was a living entity. We need to see Contextual Attendance return. If a team is being blown out at home, the stands should visibly thin out by the fourth quarter. It adds a layer of realism and a "sting" to losing that static crowds simply can't replicate. 2. The Return of the "Momentum Meter" & Decibel (dB) Readings The NCAA 07-style Momentum Meter provided a visual representation of the game's "swing." Pairing this with a live dB reading for crowd noise creates a tangible home-field advantage. It forces the away team to feel the pressure and gives the home team a reason to keep the fans screaming. 3. Studio-Driven Presentation (Pre-Game & Picks) The broadcast needs to feel like a Saturday morning kickoff. The Desk: A pre-game show featuring a broadcast crew (similar to the old ESPN segments) to break down the matchup. The Picks: Bring back the "More Info" screen where analysts give their predictions. Seeing an analyst's icon next to their chosen winner—reminiscent of the Kirk Herbstreit picks in NCAA 14—adds weight to every game on the schedule. 4. Immersive "Media" in Dynasty Mode Dynasty mode feels most alive when the world reacts to your success. Moving away from sterile menus in favor of Magazine-style articles and digital headlines would go a long way. Reading a "Sporting News" style cover story about your star QB’s Heisman race makes the season feel like a journey, not just a list of games. Final Thoughts: These features aren't just nostalgia; they are the building blocks of immersion. Bringing back the "little things" like dynamic crowds and studio picks would bridge the gap between a "football sim" and a "College Football experience." Please let us change uniforms on Road to CFP. Colleges have all of these cool uniform combos that we can’t even use. I play with GT mostly and the only uniform I have to play with whether it’s home or away is their all white uniforms. Gets boring after a few days. Only time I see their gold uniforms is when I play LSU. PLEASE LET US CHANGE UNIFORMS Thank you. LolEA Sports College Football 27 Features Feedback
Good afternoon, hope everybody is doing well! I want to start off by saying that EA College Football 26 is AMAZING and is my favorite College Football game and NCAA Football 14 is a close 2nd! The Features I feel should be added to EA College Football 27 are: FCS Schools(Division 2 schools), The Spring Game, and Player Discipline Issues to effect Academic Prestige in Dynasty Mode. These 3 features would make this game PERFECT!!! I feel that EA is going to run into the same problem 2k ran into with the NBA 2K franchise, which is it’s such a great product that it now just feels like your purchasing a yearly NBA Roster Update. Which is a sign of a Good Game/Product! Feel free to chime in with your thoughts??? 🙏🏿👍🏿✌🏿🤓😉 (cm edit updated title for vis)Solved11KViews6likes140CommentsNCAA IS GARBAGE. End of story!!
So you creators and such expect me to believe, that young people can play this on a difficulty other than freshman? Having to leave the pocket FOR EVERY SINGLE THROW TO EVEN HAVE A POSSIBILITY OF WORKING, is nowhere near realistic, Defenses of teams that are low tier, are not supposed to have the same level of coverage as the higher tiers. I can’t even play this game casually on Varsity, because the difficulty is at least 2-3 levels higher than it should be. NCAA 2014 was the last good one that was produced. I shouldn’t have to sweat my back off and get so frustrated over this game, and yet I do, due to the lack of attention to the game and how it should operate. If I wanted to be a sweat, I would play on the 2 highest difficulties. Fix this piece of junk game or you will lose A LOT of paying customers. Point Blank.Where can I send these screen recordings
I don't even want to waste my time saying just how bad this game is. I've just been compiling screenshots and recordings of how horrible this game is. No way we have a game made in 2025 & little SIMPLE stuff doesn't work correctly. Way too many glitches for a "new" game. No cut scenes in Dynasty, literally did the bare minimum to make a game. I'm absolutely not buying a new game without REAL changes. It's getting ridiculous. Your developers obviously need help & better ideas. Literally getting paid for subpar work. Ncaa 14 is one of the best games y'all have ever made. I don't understand how.You need to fix this game.
I have been playing this game since day one. I have played it almost every day since. Over these past few months, I have watched the game play drop drastically. I can't put a finger on when it started, but, I can put a finger on several of the things that have been changed or not changed, that either need to be put back, or fixed. First, is the lurking. If you are not going to fix this, and put it back, you need to take the option as an linebacker Arche type "Lurker" away. There was one thing that I didn't like about the Lurking, and that was when you were several yards away from a pass, you still attempted to catch the ball, which put you out of position to make a play on the catch. If you were to simply fix that aspect of the "Lurking", that would solve the problem. Second, is the fact that no matter if I have zero sacks, or five sacks, player leave their primary block and come to where I am rushing from. It doesn't matter if I'm a freshman who has never before played in a college game up to this point or I have played every snap for four years, they come to me. Third, is the fact that the mechanics of this game is trash. It isn't realistic at all. No matter what play I run, they always call a play to counter it. It is also funny that my player gets tripped up on, or is stopped by a player who is other wise occupied by another defensive player, simply by me running past him. And that leads me to another point that your tackling mechanics of this game are simply not realistic. You need to learn the official rules of the game of football if you're going to make a game. If a player is tackled on the one yard line, and doesn't have any part of his body touch the ground until he is in the endzone, that is a safety. It doesn't put him on the one yard line. Learn the rules. Also when you have the option to reset the plays because you don't like the first option, and you hit the reset "which you only get one reset", the plays that you get on the reset are the same as the ones you just tried to reset. When I hit the reset, I want a different set of options, not the same ones in a different order. One of the other things that I feel need to be fixed is the leadership after the first year. I understand starting the leadership low. I feel that if you have played for the team for one full year, and return to that school, your leadership should stay where it was left the previous year. You don't start as low as you have us do. The players you played with the previous year would know your leadership abilities, and the underclassmen would be looking up to you. Especially if you were awarded trophies during your previous years.Playbook Expansions
I’m not sure if EA devs look this and I know this isn’t their call, but the executives NEED to allow the devs to expand certain formations. I’d really like to see the Wishbone, Wingbone, Split T, etc. All of the one set formations need more sets and more plays. I’m a HUGE Wishbone user. I use it against CUT ranked players and in Dynasty mode. The problem running the Wishbone in Head to Head is that there is only 9 plays and one set. The better players that understand football, or players that abuse game mechanics to win ball games, understand what rushing and pass plays are coming. Rushing plays consist of: Triple Option, Double Iso, Power Option, FB Sting, and HB Lead. Even with limited plays you can still win ball games with Wingbone as almost a supplement to not enough Wishbone plays. The players that understand the sport of football play the best against it; although, even if they know the sport and haven’t seen the formation they tend to struggle against it. The formation could quite literally take over the game. In NCAA 14 the formation with just the “Tight” set was extremely good. In online it was a dominate scheme to run. I still have a copy of NCAA 10 with the, normal, wide, and tight sets and multiple plays that wasn’t just option based. I’d like to see that again. I wish I had a screen shot of NCAA 10’s wishbone playbook. Executives of EA Sports, please allow your developers to expand the single set formations.
