EA College Football 27 Features
Good afternoon, hope everybody is doing well! I want to start off by saying that EA College Football 26 is AMAZING and is my favorite College Football game and NCAA Football 14 is a close 2nd! The Features I feel should be added to EA College Football 27 are: FCS Schools(Division 2 schools), The Spring Game, and Player Discipline Issues to effect Academic Prestige in Dynasty Mode. These 3 features would make this game PERFECT!!! I feel that EA is going to run into the same problem 2k ran into with the NBA 2K franchise, which is it’s such a great product that it now just feels like your purchasing a yearly NBA Roster Update. Give us bowl games if you go 6-6, 7-5, 8-4 or whatever non-qualify playoff record in a season online road to CFP H2H. Gator bowl, pinstripe bowl, Alamo bowl, Hawaii bowl, cotton bowl etc. Neutral site. No away affects. Trophy added to trophy room. This would be sick!I get user lurk now after playing more and misc...
I get user lurk on defense, it's only fair if you know the route coming or sense it. Ability to just sit. Wouldn't want to mess with someone's stick skills. And with how much an offensive player can cut while in space or head full of steam it's only right. I get it 2 routes come near you and you pump faked on one and come back to the original route you were covering. Even though original post thought it was annoying. Wouldn't want the game to not allow someone to move while usering/decrease change of direction/decrease their stick skills/movement. After really wanting more freedom with the receivers is also why I say the above. While the ball was in air in 2012 and how you could cut in on a streak or move really hard towards a curl and basically just grab the receivers while ball in air. I really miss that feature. Now it's like you got to wait till a certain point of when the ball is in air or released. You can't cut the way before with the receivers and start going the way you want when the ball is in air. Don't let classic passing go, I love it, and I think that should be polished up/tuned up a bit more for 2027. It was really on point 2012. I'm all for custom playbooks in online ranked games. Road to CFP. I like being able to use different teams and can really find myself when doing so and I like to mix it up with teams. It really helps me judge the players better and team. If I like them just for the plays or how they play. I don't see how it could be anymore any of edge now because everyone has to play with the same playbook online. So you can honestly learn what plays someone could call beforehand just by going thru teams playbook before playing online. If everyone can use custom playbooks for offense and defense what the problem? I like how you could bump your plays from like 180 plays on offense/defense to like 300 plays for online play 2012-2014 w/ custom playbooks.EA forgot base align feature on defense.
You use to be able to base align your defense in man coverage or zone. Mostly used for man coverage. That way auto flip wouldn't hurt you or regardless if you just want to base align to be 5 yards off receivers. That way if a linebacker was trying to a cover a tight end way out of position in would correctly align the man coverage to someone closer and it all be front uped. All the man coverage lines would be straight and parallel basically. Where base align made the coverage make more sense in man. It was in NCAA 12 and Madden thru the years. It was a good in between from press and give cushion. Base align was like 5 yards off the receivers.Some of you all never even touched NCAA until last year...
Some of all you were like 9 years old and never played NCAA 12, 13, & 14 competitive online. Don't understand the difference between this game and Madden. The freedom you had to move and break your receivers off routes then. The freedom you had with custom playbooks online ranked until people whine you had to play exactly like that team or you have too many plays. Even then Madden 2012-14 was different game in comparison. Just chill wanting it all AI/CPU out. Nobody is near your receiver know the timing when to catch it. In traffic then secure catch. If you're all scared to swat at a deep ball on defense or know when to time the catch on that deep lob this game is not for you. It's football and a video game...Team Builder Update Request:
One of my favorite things to do in College Football 26 is creating teams! As a loyal fan who has been on Team Builder since pre-day 1.. I want to say thank you for the improvements added since the 25 TB Edition. Here are some additions I would love to see in either 26 or 27! 1. Cheerleader Cut-Scene Issues: While playing a game as a Custom Team, I always notice that our cheerleader's holding blank signs of what would be either a logo or words. I think it would be nice to update the game to where they at least show off the team builder logo; or even the School Initials. -- Additionally, I think a future goal could be to add more options to the cheerleaders, like deciding what color(s) they wear or having options of what the signs say. 2. Custom Mascot Creation: I am glad we moved away from that silly Tiger, and I know creating a whole new system of customization is vigorously difficult; so what I actually would like to see is the option to pick mascots from teams already in the game. The same way that we pick Stadiums from different teams. 3. Rivalry Immersion: YES! Absolutely love this addition! I really appreciate the ability to customize history, set streaks, and define past game scores as it adds so much depth. That said, I do have a suggestion to make it even better: when I played the team I created, I noticed the historical scores and details I entered didn’t show up in-game. It would be amazing if those records could carry over visibly during gameplay, like stat overlays, or pregame history, so the rivalry we build actually impacts the immersion. I ask this especially for non-dynasty players. For the folks who want to "Play Now" with their teams. Rivalry Trophies: It would be sweet if we were able to choose from a selection of team builder trophies for the fake rivalries. Or being able to pick from the trophies that already exist. Player's Important Stats: When creating a roster, I noticed positions like the QB and HB have two sections for their stat modifiers. The first one was all the big impact stats that really effect the skill of the player, then secondly, the rest of the stats. My recommendation is especially for people not as familiar with every position in the game --> Please add a Focused/Important Stats section for every position. Would love to see this for CB and MIKE. Ambiguous Name Censors: First I want to say, I fully respect that censorship is strict in this game, I prefer it as my sense of humor is not for inappropriate names. However, when making international teams, I have run into a lot of issues with First and Last names failing a profanity check. I will say clearly: These names could not be spelled, pronounced, or interpreted in an appropriate way, yet the censorship restricted it. I only encounter this issue when I give Non-English names to my players. Field Options Upgrade: Many fields are known for their uniqueness, whether it is Notre Dame with their little white shamrock where the kickoff starts; or the multi-color green field of Oregon. I would love to see more options in Team Builder that make it more accessible to change certain parts of the field, just like how you can edit yard line colors.
