They've destroyed the skate franchise but it's all we're gonna get.
EA stated at first that this wasn't skate 4, to attempt to avoid backlash for a clear copy of fortnites store, monitization tactics and pretty much the whole style of graphics, but they sell things that relate to all the other skate games (Is it supposed to be skate 4 or not?). They have foccused so much on microtransactions way too early on and even made it so that you have to scroll through the store to get to the lootboxes if you want to open them through the menu, just to tempt people more to buy basic branded cosmetics that should be earnable. I really hope that they put more care into the game in the future but at this rate I've got no hope. This game is gonna be a microtransaction sim before a skate sim, wouldn't be surprised if they add advertisements and a premium plan to block ads.The missions
So I’m having trouble beating the mission I did everything it told me to do but it’s not letting me pass on idk if it bug or glitch the mission is Land the Ender /Flip Trick an Grind in one Sequence/ the other one is / 250 sequences score/ I did everything it told me to idk if it bugged
Franchise Ruined
The Skate franchise was a unique and beloved game that catered to skaters and skate enthuists first and foremost. The story was great (and I do miss it), but it was the overall environment and feel of the game that made us beg for a new game for 10 years. Exploring the map felt like skating around your hometown or having access to spots that mimicked your favorite skate video locations. It just felt like a game made by skaters for skaters. This game, while I am grateful to have something to play, is nothing lile what made the first 3 games what they were. The map, the spots, the people, the colors, the annoying narrators/guides, everything, just seems sterile. Even the flick system has been sterilized some. I hope this game does well because I know people worked hard to get it out, but this is not Skate. This is something different and and its not better in anyway. Like I said, thanks for getting something out, but to wait 10 years for a fourth Skate game that was breathed to life by the FANS, and to receive this is a major dissapointment and a failure by EA. I would have rathered you given us a PS5 version of one of the original games. This is pathetic.Some feedback
Honestly the game is kind of fun but I do find a lot of problems with it. The biggest one for me is no more truck and wheel tuning. Without it, I feel as if the skateboard is super heavy and I’m not grinding as good as I did in skate 3. Another one that SMII7Y talked about in his video is not being able to grab cars anymore which WHAT??? Cant even do the Marty McFly anymore… also this is a personal pet peeve of mine but where are the belts? For pants? I’ve hung out with so many skaters and they’re not holding up their baggy pants with dark magic. Also clothing customization would be better if it wasnt random boxes and instead normal shopping. Maybe the boxes can have uncommon stuff in it. And speaking of, please please PLEASE add Nike SB dunks. I don’t think skate is complete until we get more SBs. That is all I can think of. So far the game is alright but I’m hoping to see more features coming in soon but if this what the game is going to be on release, then I might as well save my space and delete it.
Bring back the "Skate 2" Online Servers
Dear EA Team, Recently the Community of Trophy Hunters been able to do the Online Trophies of Skate 3, we been over the 100 or more players to get the Online trophies in ONLY a few days (you can check the PSNprofiles) the Question now is... if it is possible to bring the Servers of Skate 2 back? 1) for Peer to Peer servers? 2) Bring it temporary back, for by exemple a few weeks or 1 month or 2. 3) Other Options? we, trophy Hunters, looking forward for it.
