UFC 5 or 6?
Im currently trying to decide whether I should buy UFC 5 or 6, and id like to hear peoples thoughts. I know UFC 5 is the older game, and normally I would just go with the newest release. However, after watching some UFC 6 gameplay, Im not as convinced as I expected to be. In a lot of ways, UFC 5 actually looks better to me. I havent played UFC 5 before, so either game would be a pretty much new experience for me. I was originally planning to buy UFC 5, but then I heard UFC 6 was coming and decided to wait. Now Im wondering what other players think. Is UFC 6 a clear improvement over UFC 5, or do you think UFC 5 is still worth buying, especially for someone who hasnt played either game before? I’m particularly interested in realism, gameplay feel, and overall fun. So what would others recommend? -uljas_ukkoCAF: missing fight posture and fighter styles
Hi, enjoying the new game a lot! Been playing career mode and using my custom fighter which has a lot of good improvements added. But there’s one thing that’s really bugging me and a few others I play with. And that’s the amount of missing fight postures from the list that’s given. Any fighter that has a unique evades or movement are completely off the list such as: Dominick Cruz Ilia Topuria Isreal Adesanya jiri prochazka And many more!!! (literally anyone else that has unique dodge animations) The fact we can’t add these postures to our custom fighters and we’re stuck with the basic movement and evades is kinda annoying. Can this be added and changed please???? thanksCAF Ideas

Shaders for shorts Customizable move-sets Pick your own stats Pick your own perks more options for your mouthguard Options for your walkout. For example, sprinting out, highfiving the crowd, walking with your flag Picking your guard Customizable shorts and other fight gear Editing your recordObservational fixes
jeremy Stephen’s and Dustin porier are both 5ft9 yet porier looks shorter and smaller compared to him when in the cage. We all know porier is a unit. Buckley body model inaccurate, nate Diaz welter weight is super muscular and large, Alexander volkov has a generic body model and his hips need to be wider than his torso. fight now bugs: venues have no crowd, Bruce buffers lips don’t move during announcement, fighters are invisible during KO replays Kamaru Usman needs his back foot tippy toed and his hands slightly higher during idle stance punch and kick tracking is a little inconsistent. Strikes sometimes land when they shouldn’t and sometimes don’t land when they should. I should be able to turn off the hud and flow state visuals in settings Online play ping can severely affect input even if ping difference is smallUFC 6 Trial Impressions
First off, I’m playing the 10-hour EA Play trial The first thing I noticed is that the beta actually felt smoother and more fluid than the final release. Right now everything feels weirdly choppy, and that includes navigating the menus. How are the menus moving at heavyweight speed lol. The more I play, the more I can’t shake the feeling that this game looks and plays like a mobile game that somehow escaped onto consoles. The presentation is flashy, but underneath it feels shallow and recycled. I’ve only used a handful of fighters so far, but one of my mains is Kamaru Usman, and why does he suddenly fight with his hands down? Bring back his old stance. It was accurate in the previous games and actually looked like Kamaru. Right now it feels like somebody at EA watched one highlight clip and called it a day. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was the case for other fighters as well. Also, the game still being capped at 60 FPS in 2026 is rough. Other sports and fighting games have moved forward, but EA UFC continues to act like higher frame rates are some forbidden technology. Overall, the more I play, the more obvious it becomes that a lot of UFC 5 was copied, pasted, and given a fresh coat of paint. I’d say the only upgrade is the striking plus physics engine, fighter models, style “likenesses” along with a few cosmetic improvements to the arena etc.Welcome to the EA SPORTS™ UFC® 6 boards!
