While I'm not going to come on here and threaten to quit or make the decision to stop spending yet, this 'reminder' does give me a little clarity on path. My willingness to spend already took a hit when I finally whaled a little on a character with Baylan and found out his reqs kill him, and he isn't going to be at the level of the other Epic Confrontation characters. Not doing that again. But this one made my decision on considering going to R9 with the new 3 for me. I was already leaning toward no, since the ROI was cloudier on this new AB than DoF, and these characters would never be under any consideration to take that high otherwise, but now that there's a possibility that that investment could just go the way of datacrons or bad raid characters and just eventually poof, there's no way I'm doing that now, which is sort of a relief.
