Assault Battle Cadence

The nerve on this lot… you can’t take a disappointed tone when this is the first time that you’ve informed the community of these changes.

Lot of good this will do, but I hope someone might read this. You don’t HAVE to do anything. You are choosing to remove an AB from rotation with the eventual goal of all accessible ABs completely out of rotation. It’s scummy, anti-new player, and greedy. I really don’t get the tone def decision. You’re not loosing any money from this. Only pissing people off. Here’s hoping more people other than me decide to stop giving you money if all you’re going to do is ignore actual problems in the game. Screw you 

Definitely bogus. We grind these toons so we can get these rewards each month without fail... now cg decides they need to move the goalpost and block out a large majority of newer players. All the newer content in the world means nothing if people can't use these methods to gain rewards and catch up.

We see and understand exactly what you're doing and it is slimy even for you CG.

Cause we honestly just don’t care that it caused you all resources.”

Are you going to refund all the materials I spent to gear up characters for assault battles you decided to just take away?

What harm is having more assaults battles? Is someone losing money because you have too many? It makes no sense.

Just sunset the game at this point if you're going to remove content. 

And why is that? One extra AB a month will not make a difference in how much folks will be spending in the game (obviously that is what is driving CG decisions), whales will be whales, and have to spend a lot to keep up with the abundance of characters that are being released and all require high relic levels and multiple zetas. 

But it will be a huge disappointment to your F2P player base. Players has spent a lot of time to farm the teams and a lot more time to get it to three star, and it just goes away and replaced with a new AB that even getting the tier 1 done is almost impossible. 

Like most have already stated, this is a really bad trend to set, the only thing that makes assault battles worth investing in is the expected long term roi, if your just going to phase out the assault battles as new ones are created this means you never recoup your gear investments so why even bother playing them. There's already so much lag time in between events and things going on in this game you could have easily just fit one more assault battle into the mix if you really wanted to. Even that is eventually flawed though because if you continue to add them then eventually there will be too many. Also one of the biggest things this game is struggling with is new player acquisition, and so your brilliant idea is to keep making end game content instead while taking away new player content making it even more impossible for them to ever catch up instead of fixing grand arena by putting it back the way it was so people can have fun playing it again, and since we all know you're whole reason for changing it was too many crystals going out and not enough incentive for players to build out their rosters, just provide gp tiered rewards so getting kyber 1 in the 1-2mil gp bracket awards less crystal than say kyber 1 in the 8-10mil bracket or whatever. That would give people incentive to build their rosters but fix the garbage that is happening now that makes gac so lack luster in it's current state. You could also have added a new game mode to offset the income lost from the old assault battles if you wanted to start phasing them out. You could make it something along the lines of conquest style and run it during the month lag between conquests. This way noone is negatively impacted when one fades into obscurity but it still gives you room to continue to develop new content for late mid/end gamers.

I know this is useless but has to be said again, this is a bad design. Odds are you will make more ABs since the latest 2 are working and will keep phasing out old ones, which will hurt a lot new players unless you add the existing and expected bonus to the new ABs.

This is a pretty garbage change, and I am very disappointed in CG for doing this. Crappy tone and stance to take with your players. If you want to remove events, why not get rid of the useless training droid events? Except we all know it's not about that, it's a squeeze of the players to try to get us to pay
