We wanted to inform folks on the cadence of Assault Battles.
Each month, we reheat a set number of Assault Battles.
As we add a new one, an older AB will be rotated out to keep the total number of Assault Battles consistent each month.
Which Assault Battle is rotated out will vary but will likely be an older one.
For example, Forest Moon will return in the month of December.

This is not a decision you make without informing folks prior to taking the decision. And even now, at this juncture, it’s an obviously bad idea. You got to take care of your people CG…
There have been many bad changes I have disliked but still played, but this may legit be the last straw. It is one thing to not update gamemodes like TW and Daily Challenges, but to actively take away Assault Battles and screw the playerbase when the game isn't gaining any new players is crazy. Will not be spending any money except on LSBs until this is fixed (drop a Dr. Aphra LSB)
It never ceases to amaze me how, after so many years, CG don't understand that F2P players are essential in every game. No game can thrive with only P2W players. Good luck with a game that has 50 guilds of whale players who have everything, and a bunch of dead ones because the F2P players left. Bring more changes like that.... defo it will make your game more profitable and alive longer 😀
My last straw with the game. I have spent my money for permanent ROI, not for a guessing game to hope the content is there or not. How am I supposed to know Peridia Patrol will still be in rotation after I’ve invested in 3 R9s and have to wait 2+ years for the benefit??
I don’t think there is much saving me, as it’s shown this company does not respect me as a player in the slightest- but god may this be a warning to think of something to fix this, and fast.
You really ought to get your greed under control, how do you expect players to take this kind of news? This is just another petty, shameless money grab, replace something we’ve mastered by a new thing we haven’t in order to make more money, yay, how topical of you… You do realise players need to have fun with the game for you to keep making money right?
I have to say that as a new player this is kinda depressing. I like being able to work towards attainable goals and the assault battles were just that. Hearing that they now rotate with newer ones that are years our for me is not what I want to see in game I just started out with. It's just widening the gap to where I will be good and I already regret spending money on a game where they remove my ability to work towards attainable goals
Esto es una nueva cerdada de CG. No entienden ni su propio juego... Lo primero estos nuevos "asaltos" no dan para nada las mismas recompensas. No dan zetas, 1 no da kyros, la cantidad de recompensas en número es mayor cantidad, pero solo de 1 item mientras que los desafíos te dan un poquito de todo lo necesario para subir las reliquias...
Luego la cantidad de unidades para poder utilizar por "asalto" es limitado a 2 exactas en BoF y 3 exactas en peridea, mientras que los asaltos te permitían usar los pjs que quisieras pertenecientes a 2 facciones...
Esto es una guasa con 0 gracia... Lo mismo que las raids, pues ya no se busca el avance del gremio para superar desafíos, se han vuelto una carrera para que subas lo ultimo que han sacado para que no pierdas recompensas en vez de para poder avanzar en el juego...
Esque llevan una cantidad de mierda seguidas... Dejan el meta de naves destrozado y aburrido en el que el combate de Leviathan se reduce a quien empieza antes, quien empieza gana.. el cual es 100% suerte ya que todos los Leviathan tienen la misma velocidad...
Seguir así CG que lo que estáis haciendo es cargaros vuestro juego...
There is nothing positive about this change: you’re simply reducing the amount of resources available to newer accounts unless they go and take the shiny new characters to R9 which, spoiler alert, not many new accounts have access to R9 and 99% of them with a brain aren’t going to spend money to get them there when the ROI takes around 3 years to recoup.
Furthermore, if you’d kept everything as it was and just added this new AB, bigger accounts would still spend money/resources to take this characters up because, one, they’re requirements and also people want more rewards. This change essentially means people will get the same amount of rewards each month, even if they do invest in the new AB.
The funniest part though is that you’re trying to gaslight your own player base into thinking nothing is changing and you’re just sticking to some already established cadence which, funnily enough, you’ve never spoken about before. PSA if you lie about something that happens in the game that we all play every single day, we’re not gonna buy it.
Stop treating your player base like idiots and at least be up front with saying “We don’t want people to get so many free resources using old teams that they’ve geared and reliced up, we’d much rather you all go and spend money taking three new characters all to R9 so we’re going to force you to do that, and if you don’t then you’re going to be getting less resources than you used to.”
Losing the playerbase is extremely unprofitable, and at some point another negative change - and perhaps an innocuous one - will be the change that causes the dam to burst. I'm not saying it's this one, but combined with fleet meta awfulness, cointoss impacts to GAC/TW, a couple awful DC sets etc. etc., which of the negative changes will cause an exodus of players?
That's the final nail in the coffin. I'm not gonna quit the game because I love my guild but there will be no more money spent.
It might even be pointless to invest in new AB toons because the ROI on monthly basis is projected to break even in around 2 or 3 years. Who knows if those ABs that are 'new' now will also be 'old' and rotated out by then...
