Moving back to the baseline expectation we had for 8+ years around this is notable, but insufficient. 

Be clearer with your community, in advance of making changes, going forward. Respect the community. The game does not have many more of these mistakes left in it. Don't kill a decent game trying to nickel and dime the community, especially as you add more gates and more expensive requirements.
