Seriously? Taking the difference of two character's relic levels, and applying a damage modifier is not some ground breaking new update. This could be done in an afternoon by modifying whatever damage formula you have, and adding a new modifier accessing an array or map or something of damage modifiers keyed to each difference.
Instead of doing something interesting, like expanding TB, revamping TW, or coming up with new game modes with new forms of progression, you do this? It's been years of the same boring horizontal roster growth hamster wheel. All we see nowadays are new characters, leading to some bigger unlock. And maybe if you're lucky, they're used in some limited time event.
Please think bigger, and more long term, and do something that would be interesting to engage with.
